My 3rd or 4th visit to this hotel and use it as a base in Madrid due to its perfectly central location. I normally book the cheapest room online but then call the hotel directly to pay a supplement of 15 euros per night to upgrade to the higher category due to the ridiculously small size of the cheapest room. Maybe ok if there a couple of nights only and one person but not good for sharing. This time had the upgraded room which I have always been pleased with but this time noticed it had becom... Me and my working colleague stayed here 6 nights both in our separate rooms. Really nice and clean rooms. Internet is little bit on/off. Service at the reception was spot on but in the restaurant it was completely useless. If it wasn't for the rudeness of the restaurant staff I would rate it 4/5 balls.

So I went on vacation with my friend and stayed at this hotel. The look of the hotel is not so bad but beware of the extra charges they demand when you bring a guest over to visit. They charged an extra thirty dollars each time a guest came over. I try to talk to them and they said it was the hotel policy. I will not recommend having a rental car because there is no where to park in that area. The waiter at the restaurant were not friendly and they look down on the guest.

The people are so friendly, nice location, have family atmosphere.. always people around the hotel. the hotel is just in the center of the town (City). you can walk around, very safe, just to be prepared, please keep lot of changes if you dont want to change to local currency. US$1 and $5 are handy as you can give them and leave and dont have to wait for change. This is a busy tourist place, be prepared to bargain without any feeling.. you can get discount of about 80 - 90% if you can negotiat... Read more

I am an Accor member and wanted to try something different. Nice hotel. Rooms are clean with good facilities. The area in the daytime is nice. Walking distance to various sites in the colonial area. The breakfast is decent. The WiFi is very irregular. Not sure if u will come back.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. We got rooms in front of the street which has a club, so we asked to be switched due to the noise on the place. Hotel's employees morning shift were helpful and nicer than night shift. Food was good. If I go back again I will choose this hotel. Travelers were nice, friendly and family environment. Great location to walk around safely.

I booked an Air + Mercure Hotel package from Aug 5th - 15th 2016. Before booking I called the hotel and asked if there was a charge for guests visiting my room. The representative told me the person must only leave an I.D. and retrieve it from security upon exiting. When I arrived to my surprise there was a printed form stating there will be a $20 charge for every guest. I demanded to speak with the person from the initial conversation. She exits her office and simply states I MISUNDERSTOOD YOUR... Read more
