"We actually had a great time despite the following. They do not use face cloths, just hand towels and regular towels. The building 83 which is think is the coral building did not have hot water the entire time. I complained 6 times after each ice cold shower. It may be because the kitchen was 3 flight right under our room. Each time I went to the front desk, they called someone on the phone and said it will be fixed. It never got fixed. It rained the first day really hard. So we had to walk on cobble stone streets with our luggage in the water to get to our rooms. There are no elevators; call the bellman he will take your luggage to the 4th floor. We waited 45 minutes and did it ourselves. The 83 building has furniture that looks like a 1980s comfort in. I visited another person's room in the group and it was a 100% difference which is the 73 building. If you go make sure you get the 83 building two room Suite. I also had a suite in the 83 building but it was one big old room. The nice thing was that I had the beach view. There were 5 people in my group who went. Most staff was very nice including the bartenders. The food is something to be desired. It was not good at all. Lets start off with the Pizza that runds after lunch 2:30-7:00. Freshly made, but this entire island sits food out all day long. From 2:30-7:00 the lady made pizza with no refrigator. The meet on the pizza did not tase good at all. Breakfast: Get a made to order omelette, that is the best. Other than that those breakfast suusage and everthing else besides the bread did not taste good at all. Lunch and Dinner was the same; just nasty. As a matter of fact we thing we all have food poisioning. I am getting reports from all 4 other people who went and the all have runny bowels. We took a excursion that costs $75. It was the best event of the trip. Be arare that this in a 12 hour event. It was an excurision to a private island in La Roma. I think the excursion was called Salida. The trip started with a 2 hour bus ride with a stop halfway at this gift shop. Then back on the bus. We got to La Roma and got on a speed boad that took us to the Cattameran which was wonderful. The served hot rum and coke, no ice. They were nice they did give you ice if you asked. 98% of us had no ice. They daced and had fun with you. Halfway through the trip the staff of the cattameran put scull caps on everyone. 10 minutes later they had someone else go and ask everyone for $5 for the caps. We got to the jam packed beach and had to wait 30 minutes for our $2:30 PM lunch. The food was way better than at the hotel. However, as we have seeem to all gotten sick, not sure if it was from this food as well. All cold stuff like pasta salad that was room temperature for hours. We left the island about beach about 4 and took a spped boad back which was wonderful. Hlafway on our way back. We were told if you want to get out and take picture with a Star fish we could. They served rum and coke while we were stading in the water. We got back to the hotel at 8:30 PM. The liquor was cheap, very cheap. I do want to go back but want to stay at a better resort. The bus ride that we had stooped at about 10 resorts to pick people up and drop off. "
