Service, food great, but for an all inclusive resort, Internet is not included. And after paying a lot for the service the connection is difficult and weak, and only available in plublic areas, no available in your room and only for one device. Very disappointed.

We drove here for 2 nights, 3 days from las terrenas. Fast check in, clean room, great service. Interesting layout. Some older, some much newer sections. Last week the place was dead. Had the pool to ourselves. So not sure how they handle crowds. I do recomend for the value it is excellent

We vacationed here last year and were pleased by the choice. This year everything was completely different. At the booking i requested a top story room, as last time. This time the request was not honored. I was traveling with a young daughter and it was essential to us. She was scared and could not sleep the whole night. The next day we were moved to a different room with a malfunctioning air condition and broken plumbing. The third room had a very loud air conditioning, interfering with sleep.... Read more

Where should I start? This hotel is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Maybe the furniture is a little outdated, but everything is spotless and perfectly functional. My mother and I stayed in room 1110 and had a beautiful view of the garden and pool. All the staff is very nice and polite, smiling and greeting everybody at all times. Their English might not be that good, as most of the tourists are from Germany of the Baltic countries. I do speak Spanish as well, so i didn't suffer at al... Read more

Well first of all we have been to the other ones in Samana that are ratted 4+ stars, and too be really honest. We loved this one the best. It should be for sure a 4 star. The rooms have great pillows and nice furniture and firm beds. Food is wonderful and many things to choice from. Great cheese, Salads, and all the different kinds of chicken, fish, and meats. We travel a great deal and have been doing so for many years. So we do know the difference. This hotel is a hidden gem for sure. The be... Read more

2 years ago, in 2014, we went to this resort first time. This was our 8th trip to Dominican Republic and at first we were kind of disappointed; small resort, small lobby just one receptionist at the counter. But then, walking out of the lobby: WOW. You found yourself in the middle of the beautiful garden. There is only about 300 tourists but due to the layout you do not see the crowd. Very peaceful location. In other resorts we had a good time as well but there was a bit of "to much commercial" ... Read more

From USA, our air conditioning did not work the first night or any night, to the point that I could not put on makeup because the sweat took it right off. We called the front desk 3-4 times every night with different stories each time, and sometimes the air would kick on. All staff was very polite and the food was okay, but our room conditions were unbearably hot. Being in this resort, it is very desolate and there is not another hotel to go to right away. We also dos not get a king bed as req... Read more

The front desk staff and bail man was also very friendly. The good for every meal was delicious. The animation team was AMAZING. They made sure that you were okay and making the best of your stay. We were unsure about the place when we first got there, of course it was very dark, because we got there at midnight, there were people complaining about the a/c not working, the people at the front desk didn't seem to care much about it. I didn't want to stay there after that, but we were very tired, when we got to our rooms they were cleaned, and everything worked. The next day when we got up, we walked around to check the place out, and we were totally in love with it. It is really paradise!!... Read more

This hotel is very good for its price. The room was a bit spartan, but everything worked. They were having renovations, but there was no noise. A few times we had outages, but this must be very common for Dominican republic. Food was decent, but I wish they had more fruits. Entertainment was good enough for families. Wi-fi was really bad. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beach is fantastic.

I truly enjoyed my time spent at Grand Paradise Samana. First and foremost the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. Whenever my family and I encountered a staff member, we were always greeted with warm smiles and well wishes. Many of the staff members even went the extra mile by remembering our names, our go-to items on the menu, and also welcomed us to be a part of the games and entertainment shows happening throughout the day/night. If there was ever a time where we need... Read more

My family & I recently vacationed in an all-inclusive resort in Samana, Dominican Republic. The wonderful experience we had, has prompted me write this review; in hopes that if someone is considering a relaxing peaceful vacation; away from the hustle & flurry of the North American lifestyle, they will consider visiting the Grand Paradise Resort in Samana, DR. We were greeted at the airport by our tour guide ?? Victor, who later connected with us at the resort, to give us an idea of what to exp... Read more

My family & I stayed at the resort for 7 days and overall we had a satisfying time at the Grand paradise. A huge thank you to Youseff and the entertainment team for organizing activities throughout the day and the performances at night. No matter if the people were young or old, everyone had a fabulous time playing darts, mini golf, horseshoe, and especially BOCCE. This was the first Christmas in many years that we hadn't been busy and so we decided to check out going away for the holidays. Grand Paradise Samana was a great choice. It's a bit of a trek from the airport (but we expected that) but once there, you have everything you need. Rooms were small for our family of 4 but we were able to squeeze everyone in and didn't plan on spending much time in there. The AC in our unit seemed to be toast (in fact you could have probably made toast in our room) but... Read more
