My cousins and I booked a girls getaway at the Westin for Memorial Day Week. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The lobby is open air with a bar and access to computers. The property is gated with attendants and is very secure. It has its own private beach area and a beautiful pool. There are also two great restaurants on the property and a free shuttle that will take you to other resorts, restaurants and shops. The service is amazing. Excellent location for the property. Modern amenities in the rooms with a nice balcony to enjoy the view of the ocean and a large pool. I fell in love with the open air dining concept. All the employees were very courteous and ever willing to make our stay a memorable one. I will definitely visit again.

This place made you feel great the moment you walk in the door. Great people, beautiful hotel. This is how vacation SHOULD be. The rooms are amazing, so clean, smell fresh. The bathroom was bigger then the entire room at natura park. The shower alone cost more then the lobby of natura park. The pool was spectacular. The beach was CLEAN, the water was clear and outdoor furniture was in great shape and clean. I totally different world from natura park. That place looked like the local city dump o... Read more

This property is Amazing. It knocks your socks off from the moment you step out of the shuttle with gorgeous site lines from the open lobby, over the pool, to the turquoise ocean water and never stops. The landscaping is beautiful, adding color and dimension to the property... The Westin has 3 restaurants (and a few bars that have food) on property- either by the pool, by the ocean or near the lobby. And each of the serves fantastic food. This is a wonderful resort property with everything that you would expect of a Westin. The service was extraordinary, the rooms were well equipped and luxurious and the grounds were stunning. Food in the restaurant was excellent. There is a dive shop on property and coral farms just off shore. Came here for anniversary trip and cannot say enough about the courtesy of the staff, cleanliness of hotel and property. Beautiful location. Great beach.Would have liked to have seen more options for restaurants in the area as you are limited to about five different ones within the Punat Cana Resort. Travel by taxi to others is expensive. "Jay" at the check in desk was wonderful helping with lost luggage phone calls, etc. Will return someday.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in the Westin Puntacana Resort & Club during the week of June 20. We had a great time in the hotel walking on the beaches, snorkeling in the ocean, sipping cocktails made by the cheerful bartender Carlos and eating delicious food at the restaurants. The staff were very prompt and helpful. Our room had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. We did face one issue - we came back from an excursion to find that we could not get into our room. Perfect resort with just enough activities and assortment, but not overwhelming huge. We were upgraded to a suite which is an extremely nice room, high end and very large for 2 people. The food is pretty reasonably priced for being a resort, and drinks are very good. Overall, very impressed with the service, cleanliness, rooms and food. Nice place to kick back and relax for a long weekend.

The Westin Punta Cana was really nice. I enjoyed my 1 night stay, the food was not the best but for 1 night it was worth the money! The hotel was not a resort so everything was ala carte. This is a nice hotel situated in the Punta Cana resort. The service is very good; the food very expensive but good quality; and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Our only complaint is the prices are outrageous -- the hotel shop is outrageously expensive; it is $100 for a basic meal for 2 adults and 2 children; and an average bottle of $10 wine is $45. So, I recommend this hotel, but come prepared to look for outside food options. They also have a kids club and family activities. All ar... Read more

We chose this hotel because we were only going to be in Punta Cana for one night to catch an early morning flight and it was close to the airport and NOT all inclusive. This was an amazing resort. The smell of the signature white green tea throughout the entire resort was soothing and relaxing. Wasn't very busy and not a lot of children which made for a great couples trip. The only issue was the seaweed by the shore but this was an issue throughout the entire Caribbean. I would definitely go here again...gorgeous beach and clean rooms. The food was really good but repetitive. Other than that I would rate it a five star.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Punta Cana Westin. They staff took great care to ensure that every request was met. Also, the on-site excursion company was very helpful in getting our daily activities planned (snorkeling, hiking, etc). One thing to note about visiting the area - most of the hotels are all-inclusive hotels, so you really need to plan on staying on the property, instead of walking the beaches and visiting other areas.

First let me say the Westin Punta Cana is very beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the beach was beautiful, I really enjoyed staying at the resort. A few problems that I had encountered were no one spoke English. If you wanted to get fresh linen or want something from the restaurants no one understood what you were saying. This Resort is not your typical one, full of activities all day and full of people. You won't have to fight for a spot by the pool or for a table at the restaurant. Still, it has all the things we were looking for in a relaxing vacation with the family: great service and plenty of activities for our teenagers (snorkeling, paddle boats, beach volleyball, beach soccer), a nearby Eco park (Ojos Indígenas) that is spectacular. From the moment where I was making the reservations the staff members were very accommodating and helpful. Prior to arriving I was in communication with Marina and Melissa who made sure to answer all the questions comments and concerns which I had. Upon arriving at the airport we were greeted by a wonderful guide Valetin who made sure we got safely to the shuttle to trans... Read more

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime! Once again my husband and I just traveled and I keep coming back to the fact that we had such a phenomenal experience at this Westin Hotel in the Dominican republic? Punta Cana. As I understand it the hotel is only 2 to 3 years old and it truly looks brand-new in every way. gorgeous, elegant, clean. Crystal clear water; some seagrass but the hotel keeps it well manicured. Awesome restaurant onsite and well worth the reasonable amount of ... Read more

The place is clean, quiet and with the best service I've ever the see. The food is also very good with a lot of options. When it comes to the beach, this one is very quiet and clean with not to much people which is a plus. The internet service is very good as well.

In an effort to save the readers?? time, below is quick synopsis. If you would like more detail read on after that? Reception - Was very good and did not take too long. Grounds ?? Very pretty and well maintained. Room - The view from our top floor premium suite was one of the prettiest I have ever seen, which is saying something (see pic). The quality of construction and cleanliness is all very good. Housekeeping was quick and did a good job. Internet was terrible unfortunately. Had a few... Read more

The Westin resort is just beautiful. Not many people, as most of tourists choose all inclusive and this one is not. It has a cigar bar, and other three. Very nice swimming pool area, but most important, beautiful beach! Food and drinks are very good. There is a free bus coming every hour that you can take to go to "the village" as they call a very small centre with a couple of restaurants it s only a 10 minute drive. During the day that same bus takes you to the eco reserve called "el ojo indí... Read more

We stayed here when our flight back to the USA got cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. They were very accommodating. The room was beautiful - VERY nice. Beds were great. We had the chance to check out the beach in the morning before we left - very well kept and pretty. This is a very classy hotel. Many pilots and flight crews stayed here. Dinner was very good - served buffet style. MANY good choices. Service was outstanding. Breakfast was great as well. Overall was quiet, but got... Read more

This is a first class resort. I stayed here for a week at the beginning of Oct. 2016. The rooms are fresh and clean, the beds are comfortable. All rooms had balconies. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Several dining and drinking options within the hotel including a cigar bar. The beach and pool were also terrific. The food at this Westin was good with the exception that some of the bread products and pancakes at the breakfast buffet were often stale. That is a minor quibble. Ov... Read more

I always wanted to go to the Dominican Republic and am not sure that the Westin gives you that experience. It is beautiful and the beach and pool area is one of the best. There are a lot of bugs around the resort. I understand I am in the Caribbean but this is a Westin. I do not need to be surrounded by flies, and see ants on the food in the morning buffet. The main issue that I have is that you do stay within the compound and you do not feel like you are in a different country. There is no cu... Read more

I love the Westins and i love being an SPG customer with a stellar reputation of hotels. The Sheraton four points is a wonderful accommodating location which is close to the this Westin. I have recommended both hotels to many many travelers which im always happy to share with.. i did encounter a very awkward situation at this Westin resort & club which i think management completely disrespected my views. Which completely takes me back i thought that we could resolve by communication but i neve... Read more

Great location, on the beach. Excellent staff, very helpful. On the White Beach, could not have been better unless it was free. Hotel offers many excursions, that are not posted on their website. Restaurants are great, rooms fantastic.

This is our second time here this year. Quick flight from JFK & the hotel is only 7 minutes from the airport. Great beach, nice restaurants in the area & everyone is so nice. They have a shuttle to take you to & from dinner & there's a great restaurant that you can walk to on the beach. Room#300 is our favorite. Oceanfront & private.

I stayed at the Westin resort for 5 days before Thanksgiving in Nov 2016. Like other reviews state, all of the rooms have a balcony with an ocean view. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. I went to the gym one day and they have treadmills, a couple weight machines, elliptical machine, and a rack of free weights. The resort has a hot tub and a huge pool that is very well kept and has a ramp that a wheel chair could easily fit on. The staff is top notch and very friendly. We h... Read more
