"A sprawling complex of 8-suite buildings. Very nicely landscaped, and spotlessly clean. There is an army of staff constantly sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, mowing, trimming, etc. Most of the staff were very friendly and engaging. The beach and pool areas are lovely, but can get crowded. Lots of families from all over: N. America, S. America, Western and Eastern Europe (many hotel signs were in Cyrillic). Food was generally good, with cuisines that appealed to the diverse guest demographic. The rooms were clean, with nice furnishings.

Major complaint: in order to get a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants, you have to go through guest services, in person. Since everyone is trying to get these reservations, this meant standing in line for up to an hour during the hours that the guest services desk was open. Surely there is a more efficient way.

All in all though, it's a well-run operation. I would recommend it, especially for young families."

"Going through my online agency has always been great so no hiccups there. The resort is very clean, food at buffet good and great at Creole and French. Steak hose and Japanese not so. Beach great but crowded (but not near as much at the Bahia Principe though as we walked all the way up to the Majestic Resorts one day) Overall good experience but surprised at the amount of kids all over, especially at the new addition they put in which can be called a 'kids water park' right next to the main pool. This part was disappointing as I was not expecting this and I have already been through all that years ago with my own daughters. If you are going for the kids, great! If not, another resort may work for you better. I would only recommend this for young families but not for couples. Have fun!"

"Beautiful all inclusive Tropical resort that shoud cater to all your needs when it comes to a Carribean vacation. Landscaping, Palm tress, and overall layout are great! Room was nice but with a 'musty' odor that may come from AC on 24 hrs a day, but you can live with it since most of your day will be outside in the sun and fun. Drinks were cold most of the time, food was good,(keep in mind they are catering to a very international guest list), but you should be able to find something good to eat every night from either the buffets or the restaurants. I reccomend the Japanese restaurant twice if you can. Beaches are beautiful and clean with crystal clear water that was refeshing and warm, snorkeling was good directly off the beach. If you are from the States brush up on your Spanish, it will definitely help. Great trip, hope to go back soon!"
