The check-in process was brutal. You walk in and there's a table with numerous reservation paperwork. We were confused if we had to get our own paperwork and walk towards check-in or wait. Dayvid came to greet us and kept telling us to go across the lobby and sit. When we asked questions about check-in - he kept ordering us to go sit. I found that very rude. He rushed through a map and told us to where to go for our room. Nothing was mentioned on amenities and eating times. We had numerous issue... Read more

Our entertainment crew made this trip fun. Johnny Bravo and Spaghetti were hilarious and made it easy for people to feel included. The food was disappointing. Definitely could improve in that area. The staff was great, rooms were clean daily and mini refrigerator was restocked daily, although it did not get cold. The Sports Center needs updated, my husband and I went to check it out and it was so out dated and in need of repairs. The beach was beautiful. So if what your looking for is a relaxing... Read more

The resort was clean and very friendly. The beach and pool activities were alot of fun. Jhony bravo, Amber , Spaghetti, were our entertainment. We went to the beach and pool just to see them and play games. Miguel Angel was our best waiter and we search for him for breakfast and dinner.Daniel the bellman was absolutely wonderful we called him daily and would pick us up for dinner. Make sure you tip all the entertainment!!!!!!!!

One of the pools was a stones throw from our suite where we spent most of our time. The staff at the swim up bar where really great. I must say that the ratio of staff to guests was incredible. The rooms where kept very clean, serviced every day, including a day when there was an election. The gardens, which where a delight, where maintained to a very high standard, th... Read more

The food was AMAZING at all of the places with the exception of the Italian spot. The entertainment was top notch. The entertainment group really made you feel welcomed and really enjoyed their jobs. We even got yelled at by one guy driving a cart that he is no taxi, but to top it off he picked up a couple of young girls and going by us a second time all three yelled no taxi get your own ride and laughted at us. Well, I read all of the reviews for all of the Palladium hotels located within this complex before our trip, which was June 7-14, 2016 and have to say most are spot on. It really depends where you stay, who serves you, and how patient you are when dealing with the staff. For the most part, the staff was very friendly. There are few that were clearly not happy with their job. This complex is huge, so yes, there is quite a bit of walking, which we don't mind. They have golf carts to bring peopl... Read more

As always, I do not like to start a review with a negative comment. With that being said, let me point out the positive aspects before I give the bad. Pros: This compound is gorgeous. I say compound because there is a total of four resorts that comprise the Punta Cana Grand Palladium Resort. The rooms are well appointed with all the features you could expect from what they say is a 5 star resort. Around the pool and on the beach there is plenty of lounge chairs and shaded huts to enjoy and t... Read more

Royal Suites Turquesa is not what I would call ‚??Adult Only‚??. I did not expect to see children at any time during our stay. The property and grounds (pools & beach included) were beautiful. Our view from our room was amazing. However, that's about where the niceness stopped. Well we have returned and here is my 2 cents: Very large resort - if you are traveling with any small children or older adults this isn't your hotel. If you with a large group you need to make sure you are all staying at the same location, if not, good luck. Check in was a mess, free for all at a small table. Nothing was clearly marked (times for restaurants, maps didn't show your location). Don't loose your pool towel cards, they will charge you $20 ea. Assuming you stole a towel. * This was... Read more

I have come to the Caribbean many times (including the Grand Palladium Jamaica which was great) but my experience today after checking in was probably the worst I've experienced. We had a reservation for 5 which required a specific room type. Check in took quite a while. Bugs and mildew in bathroom. 3 calls for AC service with no visit. In the evening, we did not have linens for the pull out so called the front desk. No answer to any #s for 30+ minutes. We were told they would arrive in 1... Read more

I was there for a wedding so I didn't research Grand Palladium at all, but boy was I surprised when I got there. I guess I should start off by saying I‚??ve been to about a half dozen all-inclusive resorts within the last 10 years or so. This one was by far the worst. With that said, the grounds (pools, beach, buildings exteriors, grass, trees, etc.) were very nice. It truly is a beautiful place. Also the evening shows in the Merengue Theater were all very well done. I enjoyed each one I ... Read more

I stayed at this resort because of a wedding. The Resort has 4 total resorts on the campus. It's extremely too large. The food is not good but the pools and the beach is awesome. It was hard to eat at the restaurants because you have to make reservations and they were always booked.

My family and I have been to Punta Cana 3 years in a row now and this by far was the worst resort we have been to. The customer service was nonexistent, took forever to get waited on at any of the buffets, workers barely said hi when passing by, and trying to get a drink was a joke all bartenders seemed like they couldn't be bothered with us and btw we tip so clearly that wasn't the problem. The food was at most times not edible. The only good think I can say was our room was very nice it wa... Read more

Hi, we absolutely loved our Punta Cana 2016 vacation. We used booked with Travel Expressions and were very pleased with most. Our only complaint was the food and wait the wait/no reservations for dinner. Once we were seated, we were in love with the staff and service provided at the steak house. Juana and Albert made a special birthday request happen and a huge surprise for him. Showing gradate when good service provided is appreciated by the staff and makes your experience even nicer when it's ... Read more

Would not refer anyone to get married here. From start to finish the whole process was very unorganized. Did not talk to anyone from the resort until 4 days before my wedding when they were supposed to call me 2 weeks before to go over all details. Had no idea how much I owed before I left for my trip and was forced to downgrade my photography packaged when I realized I had to pay for a reception on top of everything else. Had no clue which restaurant my wedding would be at, rehearsal dinner not... Read more

Disappointingly far below 5* rating. From the point of meet and greet to departure two weeks later this hotel fell way below its rating. Poor room, cleanliness, service, food, watered down drinks, restaurants and entertainment. If this is the best hotel on the island (some reviews say) heaven help the rest. Fabulous position on gorgeous beach and stunning weather are the only good points.

The entertainment was excellent. Including Johnny bravo, spaghetti, hot chocolate the supervisor banana the assistant Casanova Ambar they did a great job. We enjoyed it The hotel was very enjoyable. The food was average. We went to Altos de Chavon and it was beautiful fully recommend.
