"I really enjoyed my stay '9 days'. Weather was a perfect 10 and the water was a beautiful clear blue.

I stayed in the V.I.P. section and the staff were very friendly and efficient.
The beach in this section was great, no one harassing you, and the staff on the beach, was the best!!
Food was so so in the Restaurants, buffet was the same but good.
I found the resort to be very clean.
And yes I would, and will stay here again!"

"I would like to start off this review by stating two important facts. 1, it was my birthday weekend and a gift from my boyfriend and 2, my boyfriend is Dominican and speaks fluent english (which I do not).

1) Food Poisoning: My boyfriend got food poisning on our second day and we were only there for 4 days, so that ruined a day and a night. I should have known, the food was the same stuff every day, and was terrible. Except for the ice cream.

2)BDAY dinner: We went to the Braziilian place for dinner one night. My boyfriend had secretly ordered me a chocolate cake (because its my favorite). A very simple order that they charged us another $20 on. After sitting at dinner for 15 minutes, my boyfriend could not stand it anymore, he felt so ill, so we went back to the room. They delivered my cake there, and when they got there it was vanilla with strawberry filling, no chocolate what so ever. No refund there.

3) Hagglers! Hagglers! Hagglers! Sitting by the pool, people working at the resort would try and sell us stuff! Snorkling! Pictures! Timeshares! They came up to us every 10 minutes, it was VERY annoying and intrusive.

4) WIFI- No free wifi, you have to pay for it.

5) No one ever came to change our sheets or towels, not one time.

6) Shower water was luke warm at best

7) Toliet overflowed, and shower head leaked.

8) Food was AWFUL and they served the same thing for lunch and breakfast every day. "

"I wish I had read reviews before traveling to this resort. I arrived in my room expecting to have a safe to put my things, and found that you had to rent a key to the safe to be able to use it. The front desk staff had not asked if I wanted a safe, and when we went back later that night after dinner to retrieve the lock, no one was at guest services to assist us. The next day we had $500 US taken from our room. I had it tucked in the bottom of my suitcase, which was ripped apart and destroyed. They went through all of my personal belongings to get to the money. Knowing that someone had been in my room when they were not supposed to be and had done that made me feel VERY unsafe the rest of the time. I notified guest services and they were very frustrating to deal with. None of the staff was on the same page and every time we talked to them we had to re-explain the situation. The head of security spoke no English, so it made it very difficult to communicate and ask questions. The only thing they offered us to make up for our loss and inconvenience was lobster dinner (which was at no cost to the hotel). I would highly advise staying in a safer area and resort, even if you have to pay a little more for your room. It is worth it. We tried to save money by staying here, but ended up having more taken from us than we paid for our airfare to get there!"

"My husband and I visit Punta Cana every year, this year we went on May and on November.

This is the worst hotel experience ever been.

This is the first time that I had experienced something this bad.

First at the airport my luggage was lost for 2 days (no clothes) was $ 175.on which I didn't pay. We got to the resort and were received with juice instead of wine or one of those fruity drinks that resort usually gives out upon arrival. When we got to our room, it had 2 doubles instead of a king bed. we are a couple so we had requested a king bed since a double is smaller, so when I went to the reception to request a room change they told me that they didn't have any available until tomorrow, so I went back to the room and the toilet wasn't flushing properly, the bathroom was extremely small (a large person would had never fit there). The remote control was neither working nor the phone.

The food was really bad (saw the same bread for 3 days straight). Housekeepers came to clean our room until the next day @ 6pm. when it says all inclusive you think everything is included right? Well not this one. when we wanted to order room service I was looking for the menu so I called the front desk to have a menu for my room so when the staff came to drop off the menu he asked me what I wanted to order because they were charging depending on the quantity of the food they had to deliver, I explained that on the other resorts that we had stayed we weren't charged for room service when obviously is all inclusive. And these were 4-5 star resorts. We ended up not ordering. All the restaurants were A LA Carte reservations required and always full. When we finally got reservations on our last night we sat down @ the restaurant and it was half empty, so why do they tell people that is always full? Hmm... and to finalize my nightmare in this resort the 2 first days we got there it was raining cats and dogs to the point where the lights on the resort went off more than 4 times, and one of those times we had no light for more than 2 hrs!!!! People at the restaurant were eating with flashlights and candles!! They had no generators and we were not provided at least a candle to have light in the rooms. Bartenders were serving drinks with flashlights and candles!!! When the lights came back on I went to take a shower and guess what?? NO WATER!!!! OMG... worst vacations ever people. I would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone!!! My husband and I decided to write on a piece of paper all the things that happened to us as they occurred. It couldn't get any worse. Not happy with my vacation at all.

"The only good thing I can say about my stay was the staff. They were friendly, efficient and very helpful.

Our overall experience was not that good. The room in the picture for the Double Room Superior was not the room the same room that we were given. The layout of the furniture was the same but the room was much smaller. Which I was able to confirm after we joined the Lifestyle Vacation Club and were moved to the larger version of the room. The rooms had a terrible mildew odor which I hope was due to Hurricane Irene. There were very few of the activities that were listed under All-Inclusive, for children or adults.
