"My stay at the resort was not a good one. We change rooms 3 times to get a decent room. The rooms need to be updated. They had to change our T.V twice because it didn't work. The food was ok. The beach was dirty and had a lot of dogs on it. The grounds were kept clean, the staff was very pleasant and friendly.I would not go there again nor recommend someone else to that resort."

"not a good experience, no wifi in the rooms, no drinks in the minibar, only two little bottles of water in the room, food terrible at the restaurants, only tap water in the restaurants. and the worst was when they charged me 20 usd for a plastic card for the towels for the pool and beach that i did not go once , and my card was missing when i was checking out. i did never touch the card. probably a scam between employees .Actually paid for three nights and stayed two. i will never go there again and shouldn't anybody else. its those deals that becomes more expensive."

"First of all, this is a three star hotel with five star service. Staff was friendly, cooperative, and polite. Food and drinks were plentiful and varied. Buffet restaurants were varied with a huge assortment of fruits, breads, drinks, and food. Dinner reservations are made in advance for a la carte dining; great food and tasty deserts. The beach was clean and the pool was delightful. The vendors on the beach are respectful and understand the words 'no thank you'. The room had a balcony with a peaceful view and was clean; air conditioner, hot water, television, and refrigerator included. Activities and events were posted on a daily basis and the staff gets involved hands on. It was a great hotel and we hope to return soon!"

"You will have a great time if you dont expect more then you have paid for. The beach is amazing and the breeze will keep you cool even on the 90 degree days. There was enough of a buffet so that i could fine something i liked at every meal. Quality of the meat at the buffet was slightly lacking but the fish was amazing. One downfall to the food was not one day was there bacon for breakfast (not a huge deal but who doesn't love bacon! The first few days the beach vendors drove us nuts. The key is to just say no sternly and they will leave you be. Another thing is that we have stayed at 3 of these resorts and this one seemed to have the least activity's but did have the basics volleyball, horse shoes, soccer, ect. I would go back anytime like i said great deal for the money!"

"My trip to Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata was NIce!!! I was expecting more from the resort but we made the best out of it....Had some issue with the rooms but the manager accommodated us the next day... They did not have much food selections in the buffet but the food tasted good..I enjoyed the daily shows.. nice beach and pool...this is a family oriented.. Staff are very friendly...Overall for the price i paid for our stay, it was great...i would go again."

"Definitely three star resort but still a great place and a great deal. Rooms are a little outdated; old furniture and furnishings but clean. Food was great. Not amazing but plenty of it and good. We were there with our kids and had a great time on the beach and in the pools. Spotty Wifi and only in the lobby and one other part of the resort. Really windy. Which is great if your a kite surfer I guess. Not so great if you want to be on the beach though. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a deal and want a cheep, clean, more basic place to stay."

"First of let me start with saying that this is a 3 star resort with 3 star amenities. So given that fact the resort is very well maintained. The rooms were a bit outdated, but very clean. Most of the staffs are friendly and always willing to help with a great smile. The food is fresh and not bad at all for the price we paid for 3 star, Pizzas are really good. Local President Beer is good, but the cocktails are OK. I would say try as many drinks as you can until you find something you like, or stick with beer. Beach has lots of vendors, but they leave you alone if you say 'no thank you'. Waves at the beach are not calm, but its fun to play in it. Entertainments at night are good, night club is always filled with people. The only complain I have is that they close the pool at 6 and hot tub is closed after it rains. Hotel's travel desk charges you regular price for outdoor adventures, but you can get good deal from the travel vendors at the beach. Just make sure you don't pay them ahead of the time. People are nice in DR, as long as you smile, so please smile and enjoy your time off."

"The resort was wonderful, a bit dated but nice the Animation Team was awesome, they are the reason we will return! Also the staff at all levels were so friendly and accomodating,We did have an issue with our air conditioning for most of the 10 days but we were just fine because all the good points out weighed the problem! The resort is family friendly food was good we really can't say anything bad great BANG for our buck!"
