This hotel is the best hotel in Santiago Dominican republic. Now remember this is an inner city. The staff is very nice. The gym is not that great but it will do. The hotel restaurant are descent. American food restaurant next to the hotel. Supermarket 2 blocks away,. Which serves food. Close to downtown Santiago. Overall for the price a good value.

First, I will say take the upgrade to the Imperial level if it is offered, it is worth it! The room we had was very well proportioned, very nicely furnished and the beds were beyond comfortable. The first morning, it was hard to leave the bed ad room. On the Imperial Level, you have your own separate concierge, free breakfast, snacks and drinks from 5:00 to 7:00 PM every evening. The staff was very kind and accommodating. On our second morning, I was a little disappointed there was no fre... Read more

I loved my stay at this hotel, the people are great and treat you very well. I will recommend it. It was a trip with 9 family members and we all love this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is to die for. Will go again.

It is the best hotel located in Santiago de los Caballeros. Employees make your stay great. They have different types of room all cleaned and renovated. Restaurants, room service and amenities are really good and they have very good diversity. We have stayed a couple of times in the hotel and it's been a great experience. Clean, great staff, food, pool area and every other amenities work excellent. It's a great hotel for family, couple, business and vacations. We will keep staying here every tim... Read more

I would give this a terrible rating but the hotel, itself, is quite nice. Unfortunately, the staff are unpleasant if not down right rude. The staff look down at you, are helpful only when prodded, and are homophobic. When checking in, my husband and I were asked at least FOUR times by the person checking us in if we are sure we wanted a room with just one king bed and to make certain we knew there was only one bed. Then, after that experience, the bellhop was thrown off that we were staying in ... Read more

From the time you arrive, you feel at home at the Imperial Club on the 5th floor. The staff is courteous and familiar. They go out of their way to please you and meet all of your needs. I've been coming to this hotel for more than 15 years and I will keep coming here instead of anywhere else. For their cleanliness and quality of service I give them 5 stars. Thank you to all of the members of the Gran Almirante family!

This hotel is ok, average, clean but parking sucks. The hotel should provide more towels in the rooms and update the bed linens. The hotel is very secured with lots of security. Great thing about this hotel is, a TGI Fridays next to the hotel.

When visiting Santiago de los Caballeros in the DR, this traditional hotel is well located, offers good food, nice rooms and a casino. It is not a quaint. It is more a value one. If it happens you are Catholic, do not missed the neat church located across the street.
