Casa Colonial is a gorgeous boutique hotel that is super relaxing and great for couples. After staying in Santo Domingo and visiting family it was great to take time alone with my GF, especially with the beautiful manicured property they have. The bedroom was spectacular, with a great deck and view. Even the bathroom was impressive with a deep tub you could soak in, spa style. The breakfast on the beach every morning was a must to start each day. I will make a point of trying to go back at ... Read more

I spent three nights at the Casa Colonial after several long days of work in a nearby city. I'm in the hospitality business, and I notice the details. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room with an ocean view was large, quiet, beautiful, and the view was gorgeous. The pool on the top floor was incredible! I ate at all three dining areas and received the best of service. Manuel, the doorman was one of the kindest persons I've ever met! Wody was a fantastic bartender with a huge fr... Read more

I just returned from a stay at this hotel and can recommend it wholeheartedly. The rooms were spotless with comfortable amenities. The pool and beach areas were similarly well-maintained. And the service was simply exceptional. Nothing was too hard or too much trouble to accomplish and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I will stay here again -- this I know!!

Beautiful location, understated elegance, but what's most impressive is the service. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and go out of their way to serve. We are very picky about hotels and tend to enjoy the small luxury hotels. This one really fit the bill. Great for families (we went with a 13, 10, and 10 year old sons) so long as you're not expecting countless onsite amenities. A truly sophisticated experience. Good was also very good with many menu choices. Rooms were large and spotless... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was very beautiful, particularly in the lounge/bar area with some unusual quirky pieces of furniture. The pool area was nice, with a nice view of the beach. It was a bit difficult getting to the hot tub areas when people where dining as you had to go through the dining area as there is no other way to the front. The beach was nice and someone got you settled when you arrived and gave you towels. The rooms were very large with seating area and a large b... Read more
