Upon arrival out welcome reception was less than helpful (speak very little English) and our packages were incomplete. Our reservations were for 7 people, 10 days. Rooms were arranged for one on ground floor for disabilities and 2 on top floor with one of those rooms with an extra cot. All three were located instead on ground floor. Clean and well equipped with nice air conditioning. One room had the toilet backing up which was fixed quickly but not before some hasty remarks over the telephone. ... Read more

We visited April 21 - 28 I had read all the reviews and knew what to expect. We didn't find the 1 hr. ride from Samana to the resort that bad it was like a mini excursion. Check in was smooth staff was great. The weather could have been better but that is one thing you can't predict. We still made the most of each day. Rooms were comfortable as we didn't go to spend a lot of time in it. No problems with water pressure in the shower. Staff is always cleaning, we it to be very safe. Different poo... Read more

Any negative reviews you read must have visited a different hotel ! I am not an inexperienced vacator so do not have low expectations. The choice of food excellent, rooms are perfectly adequate, not huge but what you would expect in a 4 star, some reviews say beds hard yes they are firm but I prefer this but they are huge, super super king, ? Staff are friendly and great some a bit slow and at beach bar where you may have to get their attention while they chat amongst themselves but it is Domini... Read more

Beautiful resort with plenty to do in it. The staff were very hard working and friendly. The complex was well maintained although the en suite bathrooms could do with a bit of modernisation. The restaurants were well run, and the selection of food was amazing. I will definitely revisit again!

Travel dates-April 18th-25th 2016 My boyfriend and I won our trip to the Bahia Principe San Juan, so to start it was a win win (literally). The staff stood out the most for me, they work damn hard and we as all inclusive-ers don't have to tip, but it is generally common courtesy. We tipped and tipped and were very happy to do so. From the management, to the waiters, to the maids, everyone was spectacular. ODanny was a waiter who stood out, he was a genuinely good guy, worked hard and as we no... Read more
