"This was an incredible vacation. There are Europeans, and very few Americans, but the staff usually speaks five languges. Henry, superviser front desk (3PM to 11 PM), is the go-to guy. He can make anything happen. My husband had an uncomfortble artifical leg, and the hotel profided a wheelchair for our two weeks. If you need a wheelchair, make it part of your reservation. The grounds were so beautiful with ponds , water features, and flaminos and peacocks. We were in block 4, and found it perfect for beach access, and close to the 12pm to 4pm buffet. Every worker smiles, and greets you. The entertainment staff is crazy fun and working everywhere. We didn't do excursions in our two weeks, but loved the beach pallapas, and just being. It was beyond amazing."

"This is a big 5* resort. We loved it. We requestd a wheel chair, and had one for our whole two weeks. The staff is awsome, especially Henry, the man, at the front desk. We had an up grade to Jr. suite for five days, and then a first floor beautiful view room for the rest of our two week vacation. It is very European, with minimal English, except for the entertainment and front desk staff. There was lots to do, or just go to the beach. Pallapas were abundant, and shade by the pools(4). The food is every catagory you may choose, and abundant. Two sites are open for buffet to accomodate your time schedule. The Colonial had LOBSTER TAIL, shrimp cocktail, and cream puffs with chocolate dipping sauce!! We loved this resort, and plan to return."

"una excelente experiencia lo que mas me gusto fue ,las presentaciones en el show nocturno, la comida, la playa y piscina,, lo único desagradable en el show fue que muchas personas fuman en el teatro a pesar de ser un espacio cerrado. deberían limitarlo a las afueras del mismo. por lo demás espero volver muy pronto al iberostar Hacienda Dominicus // excellent experience what I liked most was, presentations at night show, food, beach and pool, all nasty on the show was that many people smoke in the theater despite being indoors. should limit it to the edge of it. otherwise hope to return very soon to Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus"

"Our time at the Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic was highlighted by the extremely friendly staff. From the time we were greeted at the front reception until we checked out, the comment we heard most frequently was, 'We're here to serve you'. Bacon not crispy enough? They fried it again. Want to be seated at a different table? No problem. That was the way the entire time went. And the lady who cleaned our rooms always seemed to go the extra mile. Some of the towels were folded to make shapes, a unique design each day. Flowers were added to make things seem even nicer. All in all, we found very few things about which to complain."
