"the stay was good overall. the rooms are clean enough, the resort is very neat and the staff is very friendly. the restaurants are buffet and a la carte including the Italian one. qualità the food is quite good, the service is great. the animation is very active and engaging. the pool is large and well made with varying degrees of depth from 20 cm to 2.50 m. the beach is maintained even if a bit narrow. only drawback is that a little high from the sea, but overall good. the relationship qualità, price is great."

"Our family spent a week at this resort and we did not like it at all. Over all it was a very bad service, especially at the front desk. The staff were very lazy. It was hot and humid over there, most of the people at the front desk hide behind the wall where there was a room with air conditioner and let customers wait in line. One day I saw the phone ring and nobody pick up, and then a few minutes later I saw a girl on the phone for a while and let a customer which stood in front of her wait. After about 10 minutes I guess, the girl didn't bother to say anything to him at all, the customer got upset and walked away, she was still on the phone. I came to the front desk to ask a general question about the hotel, one of them ask me for my room number, I could not remember it right at first and she gave me an attitude. Although there was one of them that was nice, but over all I was very disappointed. The manager did not know how to solve problem. It took more than one hour to check out and they let us walk back and forth. One lady stood next to us had to step up to the manager and ask what's going on, she stood there and wait for 15 minutes and all of them ignore her. I've never seen such a bad customer service in my life.
Rooms were smelly, moldy and lots of tiny ants on the night stands and on our beds. Food at the Italian restaurant was okay. The snack bar had grill chicken which was good. The buffet was awful, not much variety. We got sick of the breakfast because we had the same thing every morning. The restaurants were not open everyday so we had to have buffet. The staff were working very slowly and lazy. I wished I could go home early and never come back to this place."

"Bad service, although some of the staff were kind, majority were lazy, rude & spoke little to no English. Food was awful- pretty much all of it. Mexican restaurant had 2 good things on the menu & Steakhouse was good. My brother got sick from food & had to be transported 2 hrs one way to hospital at the recommendation of the staff 'doctor' after giving him a medicine that the hospital later said should not have been given (and we later found out there was a hospital much closer but they werent 'contracted' with that one). You have to go back & forth at the pool & beach for drinks- no service. That's about it for the food. Rooms smelled musty & moldy & were old & in disrepair. So we changed rooms with the new one a little better but still smelling. Room safe broke & had to be reset three times! Shower had other people's little black hairs in it & is a rv like shower. "

"Hotel Catalonia was our choice for our annual trip. The hotel grounds were very well kept, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean.
The food in the main cafeteria was hit or miss during our stay and not very diversified. We craved local food, but hardly got enough. The specialty restaurants were a good break from the cafeteria food, albeit poor representations of their specialties. My favorite restaurant at the resort was the creperie by the beach. The crepes made a good snack while on the beach. The drinks were also good and strong. All in all, the value was worth what we paid. "

"Hotel Catalonia was great. Staff was very pleasent. 3 a la carte restaurants Mexican, Italian and steak house all of them great. WIll go back there in the next vacation. Great value for the money. Rooms are very well kept. Upgrades are good."
