Cabana 1 was wonderful....deep burgundy walls complimented all the detail of the room, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower luxuriously sized to add to the dream island getaway ambiance. The food, the view, and the pool were all impressive as well as the service, which was friendly and timely. The owners are also very present and take great care of the property and those who visit. Highly recommended if you're looking for a serene slice of heaven in the Carribean! Note prices are in... Read more

The Pagua Bay House is one of those rare finds that you do not want to leave again. Beautiful Cabanas, all with ocean view from the verandas, the staff is so very friendly and welcoming, you feel as if you were a friend, not a guest. The food is out of this world and the attention that was paid to the organisation of our individual trips was amazing. If you go to wonderful Dominica, make sure you stay here!

They have created an amazing get away. Even the parking lot is unique, the never seen before moss grass welcomes you up the small hill as you see the inviting cabanas and walk through an amazing arch into the restaurant with itâ??s fresh Lobster tank and open atmosphere. The refreshing pool leads your eyes to what in my opinion the best view on Dominica! I had a fantastic relaxing time at this heaven on earth creation. Everything about the Pague Bay House was wonderful. The staff/folks were help... Read more

I am a frequent visitor to Dominica and had no idea this resort existed. This was one of the most relaxing places I've been to on the island. The views are incredible. The resort and restaurant were built on a hill so you can look below and see the winding road as well as the coastline of the beach. You can hear the waves from the beach below mixed in with relaxing Caribbean music in the background. All of the staff members were very nice and pleasant to be around. Some of the locals even stop... Read more

Pagua Bay House is by far the most beautiful location on the island. We felt like it was our home away from home for a week. We stayed in cabana 3 for 3 nights and suite 5 for 3 nights. Both were comfortable and we'll appointed. Main difference between the two was the space. Suite 5 had lots of private outdoor lounging space including a hammock, private plunge pool and couches to relax. The shower in the suite is also massive with windows that open up to view the coastline. Our room was cleaned ... Read more

We just came back from our first visit to Dominica and staying at the Pagua Bay house was one of the best parts of a perfect vacation. The cabanas are a great balance between modern style and convenience and rustic, local design and appeal. The staff are the friendliest people and take care of the place and guests so well. They helped plan our excursions and rental car, gave great advice on what to do and see on the island. The view from the cabanas was just amazing and great for pictures. Be... Read more

My husband and I had heard of Pagua Bay House from some friends. We were not disappointed. The beauty of the property, the views and the cabana were amazing. As for service to the guests, we only had to sit back relax and let them take care of all our needs - our excursions, anything we needed for the room, and just service with a smile in general - all top notch from the security staff to the wait staff, all around. Lastly, we ate nearly every meal at the Pagua Bay Bar and Grill and again w... Read more

We recently stayed at the Pagua Bay House during our trip to Dominica. There is so much to do on the island and yet the relaxing environment and amazing views made it tough to leave the property each day! The staff organized all of our excursions and airport transfers, including packing us a breakfast and lunch for our long hike to boiling lake!. The restaurant has a large menu selection and the food did not disappoint. The rooms are modern rustic and very comfortable and each cabana allows ... Read more

Had an amazing time here as the grounds, cottages and view are amazing but pale in comparison to the gracious owners, and competence of the staff! Greetings to Alicia, Rick, Sheldon, Gaby and Jessy! Look forward to visiting again, Lisa and Erica.

Our latest trip to PB in May was our 3rd time staying at this unique boutique hotel. Again we were treated w spectacular views of the ocean from our suite, and fell asleep to the sounds of waves crashing onto the black sand shores, on perhaps! THE most comfortable bed I have ever I encountered in a hotel. The location of PB to the airport is a short 15 minute car ride, once you arrive at PB everything else is so easy to get to. Their central location is a wonderful jumping off point for explorin... Read more

This was our first trip to Dominica and to Pagua Bay House, but it will not be our last. Dominica is unique, now our favorite Caribbean island of the 14 we have visited. And Pagua Bay House shares that attribute, standing out among the 40 or so accommodations we have used while staying in the region. The is... Read more

Pagua Bay House was a perfect romantic escape for us. The rooms had so much character and everything was thoughtfully done and well executed, from the great landscaping to the AC being set to the right temperature when we walked in, to the hostess showing us where to plug in our American electronics (they have both kinds of electrical plugs). In the morning, the owners Rick and Alicia, walked us through the map of Dominica in detail with lots of tips and tidbits about the island and their favo... Read more

Located on the eastern side of the island, and only 10 minutes from the airport, Pagua Bay was the perfect place for us to stay for the last half of our trip to Dominica. Alicia and Rick were such welcoming hosts and engaged us in friendly and personable conversation each time we saw them. They TRULY want their guests to be happy and have a great experience, offering suggestions on what to do on the island. We loved the Garden Suite (#5) with our own plunge pool and expansive outdoor living spa... Read more

A jewel of a property on the Atlantic side. We had a Cabana with lots of views, privacy and endless sounds of ocean waves breaking. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff especially Gaby and Jeni, the food was first rate and a few great cocktails. All in all, owners Rick and Alicia are doing a great job. SB California

This little gem was everything that I wanted it to be and much more. My wife, son and I were planning a trip to Dominica earlier this year so that we could spend time with her family (My wife is from Dominica). Now understand that Dominica is not your typical Caribbean island. Although it is definitely a paradise, it is a very rugged paradise! No big resorts or food chains at all. And although I enjoy camping, I was not very excited to give up all the luxuries of home for 10 days. In doing... Read more

We were stranded at the airport in Dominica due to Liat Airlines cancellign our flight (DON'T EVER FLY LIAT!!). We were left searching for a room for the night so we called Pagua Bay House. Rick was extremely accommodating so went right over. The property is very clean and the customer service level was through the roof! They even did a load of laundry for us. The cabana room we stayed in was wonderful.....it even had a private area my wife and I laid out in the sun in. The restaurant serv... Read more

We planned to stay at Pagua Bay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 4 nights due to a cancelled flight. We stayed in Cabana 3 and then cabana 4 for our bonus night. Both were spacious (4 is huge) and perfectly comfortable. They thought of everything when they designed these rooms! The minibar was perfect, the lamps had US outlets for charging our electronics, and they had A/C if you need it or shutters and a ceiling fan if you want to enjoy the breeze off of the ocean. The rooms and views from Pagua Bay are just as beautiful in real life as they look on the website.Although the infrastructure on Dominica leaves something to be desired, everything works well at Pagua Bay and the wifi is excellent. The food is the best we ate on the island. A car is really necessary to explore the island and if you want a change from eating at Pagua Bay, Pozzies and Rainbow Beach in Calibishie are a 25 minute drive away. Great week here - amazing views over Pagua Bay. Cabanas are great size and have everything that Food, staff and service all great. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable in arranging trips. While very close to the airport - it is at least 1 hour away from the capital and links to most of the key attractions but this is the only drawback and easily overcome (and once the main highway is repaired, will be quicker). Whole complex has a laid-back relaxed atmosphere making it very difficult to move... Read more
