Only a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station, the Scandic Front is perfectly located for the busy restaurants/bars of Nyhavn and yet is still in a quiet area. First impressions are a nice clean hotel in a beautiful location with very friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the view from the window was the brick wall of the building next door. This, together with the dark furniture and decor, made the room appear gloomy. Obviously not all rooms have this view bu... Read more

From the moment we entered, Nicklas and all the hotel staff welcomed us with incredible warmth & hospitality. In addition to the ideal location, modern spacious hotel room with a balcony to enjoy the city view - the hotel staff were always taking the extra step to ensure we knew how to experience Copenhagen in the most dynamic way. The highlight being our city bike tour which Nicklas so generously guided, giving us the inside view into the city cafes, culture, history and more . Adding im... Read more

Had a lovely trip here last week with my parents. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. We were on the 6th floor and our rooms had balconies which were lovely in the sun. I found the rooms spacious. Lack of English Breakfast tea in the room but there is a well stocked shop just across from the hotel and there was a fridge in the room to keep the milk. Breakfast was great. Very chilled atmosphere, nice food and plenty selection. Lifts are a bit dated and one of them is very small. We left o... Read more

Conveniently located hotel that has breakfast included. The staff was very helpful, rooms were comfortable, and major attractions were within walking distance. The one problem we encountered (outside the hotel's control) was the amount of construction noise from the work being performed on the streets below. If you're staying here, the Scandic Front is not cheap so I picked a water view room. They have loft rooms as well (the bed is on a loft level), nice for families. The rooms are on the smallish size but if you get a view room it's beautiful and worth it. The common areas of the hotel, specifically the elevator and hallways are a bit worn but not disheveled to the point of unacceptable. The location is very central to Nyhavn, (about 100 meters), Kongens Nytorv (15 minutes walk), super central.... Read more

I travel to Copenhagen a lot. Sometimes for work, its last minute and this hotel always has rooms - that should be a red flag. Service in Europe is generally bad, but the service at this hotel is abysmal. I tried to order dinner at 8:30 pm - too bad kitchen closed early - really an hour and a half early? they just don't care. the rooms are dated and often are not clean. I have had to have the bed made when I got to my room. There are so many better options in Copenhagen. Avoid this hotel.

If you stay more than one night, dont expect that they will clean your room completely form one day to another. They only change towels and glasses. Also the towels were dirty and worn. Breakfast is good but not too many options to choose from. Good location. Family room with great space and balcony, but again not very clean.

The location is excellent, right by Kongens Nytorv, and the hotel has a wonderful public pier as its next door neighbour. The room was modern, fresh and clean. Average breakfast: Good selection, but the quality of the bacon and scrambled eggs was low. The supposedly cold drinks served in big glass bottles were not cold, at least not during peak hours. This is the best situated hotel in copenhagen. Comfortable beds in a lovely room with a view. Bathrooms have uneven pebbly flooring which may not be to everyones liking, but i did like that! Lack of produce disappointing. Only soap and shampoo on tap. The staff was very helpful with booking restaurants and taxis.....good breakfast apart from the lack of black tea which may inconvenience the brits. Very crowded at peak times. All in all a very pleasant stay in Copenhagen!
