The location was perfect. Easy walking to everything. Our room was on the street side & if we stayed here again, I would request a courtyard room. We could not cool our room at night because of the noise from the bars near the hotel. We asked for a fan but they do not have any. The deluxe room was well appointed, good space & had everything we needed. The lounge area & bar was a great space & good for visits with friends. Courtyard was a plus. Staff was helpful & friendly. The hotel is very well located, centrally in Copenhagen. The rooms are very nice and the staff service is excellent. There is a very nice Cour yard which is great for summer evenings and the bar offers a wide range of cocktails. Only small hick-up is the breakfast, good but not more than that

The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was of decent size and only the bathroom a little small. We had the do not disturb sign outside our room every morning and every morning we would find a bag with new towels and toilet paper outside when we woke up. I thought that was very convenient. We also had breakfast here sometimes. The selelction is quite decent, but not overwhelming (like in most modern business hotels). The location is perfect. No one was at front desk for about 10 min. when we arrived. And they do not ask any ID but just to fill out a form ( no passport number is required) in order to check in, which worries me about the security of the hotel. The room had clean design, comfort bed. But the bathroom is so tight that you must close the door in order to get in shower, furthermore the bathroom door cannot be locked. We had the fortune/misfortune of visiting Copenhagen when it is unseasonably hot. Temps in the high 70's/low 80's, which has made for lovely days, but the rooms in this hotel are equipped with only curtains and windows to control the heat. Basically, we have to stay out of the room from noon until 20:00 to avoid the heat, and we've had to get used to the street noise from the open window being open all night (that part actually hasn't been a problem). But the idea that this hotel is "boutique" o... Read more

The location is great with just a short walking distance to the main shopping street in Copenhagen. The room was clean, the price is reasonable and I enjoyed the breakfast. The elevator is really small. It has an old charm to it, but if you have more than a regular sized suitcase you'll be making multiple trips up and down. Hotel was practical if you arrive from the central station, but farther away than others from the nice restaurants and some monuments. Nothing gracious, charming or welcoming about the hotel, but nothing terrible either. Lot's of noise from the courtyard. Rooms are very small. I was wary of their floating pricing, but it ended up slightly less than what I expected to pay.

We took a morning flight to have all day for us but the check in was at 4 o clock in the afternoon !!! Stuff is very kind but the hotel (elevator and outside look also the steps are looking really old !!) Copenhagen is a city that you spend a lot of time outside walking and clubbing so you need the room only for sleeping Beds an pillows are really good for that. They choose the best !!

First the good bits. This is a well located hotel with a reasonably pleasant and competent front of house staff. The bar is very well run and the bartenders are as knowledgable as they are friendly - easily the hotel's best feature. There is a good outside courtyard that is well designed and popular. Like the rest of the premises the bar theme is showing its age. The noise levels were perfectly acceptable for an inner-city hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Copenhagen. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, very close to the train station and easy to reach all the main attractions on foot, which we did. The room was nice, with minimalist Scandinavian design. I understand that Copenhagen is an expensive city (when compared to the UK) however I felt that the room we had was a little bit overpriced. Had it been a little cheaper, I would have rated 4 out of 5.

The hotel rooms were clean and modern though small by US standards. Try not to get a room street side as there are a couple of bars nearby and there is some noise. The Hotel lies in the middle of the center, very closed to the site you must have seen in copenhagen. The decoration of the hotel is modern, however the rooms are small. We had a room on the top floor; the hotel is very clean and well maintained. You can walk from the hotel to shopping areas, to the Amusement Park Tivoli, to railway station within 10-15 minutes; a lot of restaurants are close by.

The hotel is clean, and its near the center of town. The people are friendly, and the downstairs bar is ok to sit and work. Like all hotels in Copenhagen - they are priced high for what you get. This could be better if the rooms were a bit bigger. The bottom line is that I would stay there again.

We stayed for seven nights and enjoyed our visit. I wanted a clean, safe, professional hotel that was downtown and close the city center. I identified the establishment through TA reviews and we were pleased with our selection. The hotel is downtown and many of Copenhagen's big attractions are only a 10 minute walk: Tivoli Gardens, Christianborg Palace, Staue of Absalon, etc. Shopping (Strøget Pedestrian walkway) and grocery (Irma Supermarket near City Hall: Vesterbrogade & H.C. I stayed here with some girlfriends and the twin rooms were roomy with large single beds. The beds had plenty of space between them which was a treat as twin beds are often too close together. The hotel was very central and we were able to walk to many of the top sites: Nyhaven, museums, art galleries, Tivoli Gardens, Christiania and The Little Mermaid to name but a few. The breakfasts were excellent, good choice and plenty of it. We found the reception staff most helpful and very friendly. A g... Read more

We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Denmark and definitely recommend this facility to others. Room was updated, very clean, and room amenities were excellent. Room was much more spacious than anticipated. It was a grat location for walking to fantastic lical restaurants.

Excellent location in the heart of Copenhagen. Close to nice bars, restaurants and nightlife. Friendly staff and clean everywhere. On the downside is only that you may her sound from the street outside, but it was acceptable to me.

The hotel has a perfect location for a tourist visit in the heart of Copenhagen. I was probably unlucky due to a big event in the city and had to pay a total overpriced rate of 366 EUR - excl. breakfast. This hotel is a standard tourist hotel and by far not worth that money. I accept that the prices are higher during events but this hotel has exaggerated The room I got was small but ok and clean with a very small tv and no air-conditioning. Breakfast was not included in the room rate but quality... Read more

Good location is about the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. Everything else is very basic. Nothing sticks out. Hotel staff is disrespecting the "don't disturb" sign. Very un-classy. Over all an over-priced budget experience.

Good and Stylish Hotel in a central Place in Copenhagen. Rooms are small and clean. Good breakfast and nice stuff. Only 5 Minutes to the main shopping street and therefor 15 Minutes to the central place in Copenhagen. Nice restaurants and Bars in the area around the Hotel.

Good clean hotel, central location to city and sights. Only draw back is no air conditioning. Small room but adequate, Good breakfast. Can recommend. Take good walking shoes as all streets cobbled and kills feet! Would stay again

Excellent center city location. Room small but beds comfortable, bathroom clean and efficient. We arrived in a heat wave and the room was uncomfortably hot. It should have been aired out and shaded prior to our arrival. However, the staff were helpful and spoke excellent English; the premises were clean.

Adequate hotel in centre city location. Small room with wooden floors that creaked when walked on. No air conditioning in very hot room. After travelling for 28 hours we were left to wait from 12 noon until 4.30pm for our room to be ready and it appeared that the staff couldn't care a less which put a dampener on our overall impressions. On the upside there was storage for our luggage and the breakfast was ok.

Great Location! Perfect to get around. Close by buss, metro, train, and able to walk almost everywhere. The view could have been better. Good breakfast, nice options. Loved the design. Missed a fridge.

Perfect location, 5 minute walk from the main train station, city centre right on your doorstep. The hotel is very cute. A compact room with everything you need. 1 bad thing: no milk in the room! Being English meant this was a massive issue!!! :D this just meant I had to go downstairs everyday to ask for a glass full to be able to make my tea. Overall very pleased, breakfast is nothing special but there's a lot of great places out and about.

Modern facade on an old building. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bar area is very nice but there is no restaurant for dinner. Not far from main station but a much safer and nicer area than around the main station with a number of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Disputed charge from the First Hotel 27, Copenhagen Denmark Background First of all, the only time we stayed at the First Hotel 27 was the night of July 22, 2016 ?? the charge to our credit card was made on Sept 5, 2016 ?? perhaps this was a simple error and not an attempt to fraudulently charge us after agreeing with our not being responsible for paying for the one night. As seasoned travelers, we stay in hotels internationally over 100 nights/year. I am retired from a full time senior execu... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for five nights while visiting the city. It is centrally located, just a few blocks from Tivoli Gardens; the train station; Kompagnistraede, also known as restaurant row, which is a pedestrian thoroughfare; the main pedestrian shopping street, and other points of interest. This is a boutique hotel with five floors and two elevators that is clean, with simply decorated rooms that are priced accordingly. One might consider the rooms on the small side if compared to stand... Read more

First Hotel 27 enjoys a good central location with nearby restaurants, bars and tourist destinations. The decor is boutique style but on a budget not luxurious - functional but still comfortable. Our room was quite large with a comfortable queen sized bed but the bathroom was quite small. There is no restaurant but a comfortable bar. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpfull. We would use it again.

First time in Denmark but the experience of the hotel really helped and allowed me to enjoy my weekend. The check in was quick and efficient without any issues or problems. The rooms were small but the view was great on the main road, the rooms were warm and clean I would recommend and come back to this hotel again.

Copenhagen is an expensive city, particularly now that the exchange rate has been hit by the forthcoming "Brexit"! This Hotel provides all you need for a short visit to the city. It is centrally located just 5 minutes from Tivoli Gardens (somewhat overrated), the main shopping areas, restaurants and museums/galleries. Our room was quite large, simply furnished ( a touch of Ikea!) although the en suite was very small and just a shower. Breakfast is buffet style and very good. Some have said ex... Read more
