As other note, an affordable hotel just a couple of blocks away from the central train station. Like all things Scandinavian, the rooms have clean lines, white and airy, ...efficient design to maximize space. When booking, do it through a website like, that accepts American Express, because the hotel's website does not. A lovely stay!

Located just a few blocks from Central Station and next to Tovili, you could walk to all the sites from this hotel. The room was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Although the room was small, we only cared about having a nice place to sleep because we were out all day anyway. There was a large area on the main floor to spread out and sit at tables and couches. Great value for the money.

FANTASTIC breakfast available with spacious seating areas. Rooms small, but clean. Toilet/shower/sink like on a cruise ship. Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Large lounge area. Thats the Cabinn slogan: All you need to sleep, all you need to wash, all you need to...whatever you need. It's an accurate assessment, you really do have all to need to sleep, wash, clean. But nothing more, just the basics. The rooms imitate boat cabins(hence the name), and contains a bed, a bunk bed, a bathroom. The ventolation is terrible, so don't stay there if the weather is hot. The bed was nice and firm. A lot of noice from the backyard. The breakfast is like the rest, really basic, brea... Read more

The rooms may be small, but they use every inch of space well. There is a place to store your luggage and hang your clothes, there are shelves and there is a reasonably sized desk. The bathroom, while small was very clean and had enough for what we needed. It was also really nice to have a balcony, especially since the weather was fantastic. Wow - the room for 3 people was so small...we had no idea how we were going to be able make it work so we decided to go to the front desk and see if they had a bigger room. They did - we had to pay more but at least it was a little bit bigger than the other one. The rooms do not have air conditioning. Also there are always people in the terrace so you hear a lot of noise. The location is great since it it close to Tivoli and the train station.

Cabin city is an ideal,no frills hotel to stay in Copenhagen.Rooms are small but well laid out and spotlessly clean.Near to the Tivoli Gardens so can be a little noise from the people having fun on the fairground attractions but it wasn't a problem.Breakfast was typically continental with home made yoghurt and fresh bread being the highlights. I would definitely stay again :)

I went there without prior booking as I had booked Euroglobe Hostel via Hostelworld. However when I arrived at Euroglobe Hostel, the room had been given to someone else as their booking system is very poor... I got to the Cabinn beside Forum - they had no free room but the lady at the reception called her colleague in Cabinn City, asked them to hold a room for 30 minutes or so until we got there, and booked us a cab to get there. Location and price are the only positive thing about this hotel (right behind Tivoli Gardens). Neg: no air conditioner (although we were told that most hotels in Scandinavia do not have air conditioner) - extremely small bathroom (shower almost above the toilet) and almost no space to walk through the room when you have you luggage in the floor. My favorite hotel in Copenhagen. But a long minus to the shower! It is impossible to get clean in the shower. It is very difficult for ladies but also men have difficulties with it. That's why I don't give number 5 to the hotel. I suggest that in the hotel they create a couple of common showers to customers, so they can wash themselves properly. The showers can work by coins, if it is otherwise expensive to make that happen.

The hotel is located at walking distance from the central railway station of Copenhagen and the Tivoli gardens - making it very conveniently to reach from the airport as well with a 15 minute train ride. The hotel offers very small rooms that offer just the very basics. The selection at the breakfast is very good but try to be early at breakfast because the room can get crowded very quickly. We got a good price on a triple room, helping to defray the high cost of Copenhagen. This is part of a Danish chain of hotels where the rooms are like tiny ship cabins, but have everything you need in a very small space - two bunks and a pull out bed below, TV and desk, and a small bath. Perfect for a night or two. Breakfast is extra but a good value.

Stayed here for four nights while at an international rowing event. The room was clean and was cleaned well every day. The en-suite too was fine and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. The rooms are small - like ships cabins (hence the name - Cab Inn) and there are two single bunks here. I would recommend the rooms for one person, two is a bit of an ask, even though there are two bunks. The location is very central, close to the train station and Tivoli Gardens. Many eateries are only a fe... Read more

Its really close to public transport as well as tivoli gardens which is great since that's what you use while on holiday. The room is small but for 2 people the room we had is fine , but for 3 people ......its tiny and not easy to get around if the bottom bed is pulled out. Also it's bunk beds so if two older people where travelling together it wouldn't be very easy getting to the top bed .the bathroom is tiny ( reminds me of a cruise ships bathroom) and when you're done showering the whole flo... A nice, inexpensive option for a short stay in Copenhagen. You are quite close to the canals and to the Tivoli Amusement Park. Most of what you would want to see in the city is within walking distance.

In a good location, not far from the city cetre. Clean rooms, small but they have all you need, if you are interested on discovering the city all day long, instead of relaxing. Receptionist are kind, young and multilanguage.

Hotel is modern with a hospital feel about it, clean lines, no frills. Room was very small, en suite was miniscule. HOWEVER I liked it very much, and intending a repeat visit. For a couple of nights stay it is more than adequate.

5-8mins walk from central station Rooms slightly bigger than Cabinn hotels in Odense and Aarhus Toilet small, no skirting so water will spill all over Urine stench in toilet that persists throughout the day, even after cleaning. Suspect it is sewage problem as other reviewers had similar complains Nearest eateries are at the central train station. With cabinn you know what you get, so no need to describe the rooms etc. It was very clean and quiet and the bed good. The best of it was the location so very central in Copenhagen and close to my favorite Islands Brygge. Tivoli and Hovedbanegården is also neaby. Most of the sights are within walking distance.

Staff most helpful and friendly. Rooms small but pretty well equiped. These are cheap, concept hotels and I feel, we received good value for money. The hotel is in close proximity to the central station.

Ok, like the title says I don¬īt mind staying in small rooms since during holiday you spend the time outside the hotel, so who cares about the room size. But the sad fact about Cabinn is that the rooms are so small that you can¬īt even open a suitcase and there are no room for hanging your clothes. Inspiration for this chain is ship cabins and at least all the ship cabins where I have been have been a lot larger. Shower comes straight from the roof and is non attachable and really- REALLY low ... Read more

My friend and I picked this hotel because it was very close to the train station, which was a great way to get to and from the airport. The hotel has a strict check in policy but they were able to hold our bags in a luggage area in the basement. The breakfast was delicious especially the bread and cheese. The rooms were not very spacious but it's the price you pay. Also the shower floor is the same as the bathroom floor so expect to have constant wet feet. Overall it was a decent place near Tivo... If Ikea were to design a highly efficient hotel room, this would be it. Clean, well thought out Scandinavian design squeezed into a small space with a cruise ship theme. It has everything you need but the rooms are actually quite small. Breakfast was good and by Copenhagen standards, reasonably priced. The location is very good - close to the central railway station, Tivoli Gardens and various museums and other attractions. In fact it is close enough to Tivoli Gardens that an 11PM Sunday nigh... The good: location, 2 blocks away from the train station, Tivoli Gardens, The Glyptotek art museum, inexpensive by Copenhagen standards. The WiFi worked for email reading, TV worked, hot water with decent pressure. The bad: stinky, cramped and noisy room, uncomfortable bed. The A/C is centrally controlled, there is no room control. This should be stated on their web site. When I booked, the room description mentioned A/C. What it didn't mention was that the A/C is at the discretion of the sta... Read more

Near city center. Close to some major attraction sites, supermarket, and train station. But not close to Metro station. If you want to go to the cruise ports, you may take buses # 26 and 27. Staff helped us by letting us check in early. Your choice if you are able to stay in a very small room with tiny bathroom that is smaller than those in cruise ships.

The room is really small, like a cabin. Shower is weird, comes out from the ceiling, and the whole floor of the shower room will be wet afterwards. It was hard to understand how the taps are working and which tap should be used for shower and which one for sink. The breakfast room was really overcrowded, the selection of food was adequate however. Hairdryer needs to be rented for DKK 100, refundable upon return of dryer. Wifi works well and is free.

Lobby without tables or there was about 2 chairs for guests and computer. Checkout time 11 and if you want later checkout must pay for it. Poor room quality from this kind of 'quality' small and the shower. The price could be so much more cheaper, usually I pay from this kind of quality about 10-50e but in this city much much more. Rooms are small but have everything you need. The overall impression is that it is clean but this time there was a smell of urin in the bathroom. We spent only one night in Copenhagen and this hotel was quite suitable for what wee needed - a very comfortable bed, a good proximity to major attractions, parking space, good breakfast. Valuable, efficient, yet not remarkable or special. in any way. Location: good, near Tivoli gardens, in a quiet area. A large parking lot outside the hotel. Good eating options just nearby... Their name said all ‚??Cabinn‚?? City. Conveniently located very basic no frills budget hotel. 7 minutes walk from the Copenhagen central train station was the most attractive condition for us to stay at this hotel in Copenhagen downtown. Beds were comfortable enough, rooms was quite small, but for a short stay and small bags that was fine. I stayed here for 5 nights straight and then for one night after staying at the Cabinn in Odense for 2 nights. This is a great hotel if you don't want to spend a lot of money, want a clean place and don't want to stay at a hostel. I had stayed last year at the Absalon Hotel by the train station too and yes, its prettier inside but if you don't need a big room and you are only at the hotel to sleep, this is the right place. I travelled to Copenhagen with a friend and we had decided to share a room. I have to say the bunk bed situation, although very space-efficient was a little odd and with the addition of the ladder attached to the bed the room was very cramped. This said the beds were very comfy (both bunks), it was very clean, and as we spent very little time in the room it was all we needed. We were only there for a long weekend however, if it had been much longer I think we would have needed separate rooms for... Read more

Easy to find from the railway station at which the Airport line arrives. It is also easy to reach the city centre within minutes. The hotel itself is basic. Clean but basic. The breakfast allows mixing with students but I don't hold that against them. The staff are knowledgeable and conversation before going out can save you serious money. It was good that I was able to view satellite channels on TV. I was able to get a fan from the reception for the night (after all, it was summer and the warmest month of the year). Without an extra fee! It was also possible to get some hot water from the down lobby so therefore, the lack of the electric kettle didn't bother that much. The shower system w... Read more

At £88 for the room, we couldn't complain bearing in mind the high cost of hotels in Copenhagen. Tivoli is 5 mins from the hotel and central station about 4 mins walk.
