I stayed here on a business trip, and I did manage to sleep a couple of the nights here. The night club downstairs, however, made the walls of my room tremble on the last nights. Needless to say that sleeping was difficult. They do provide earplugs, but using them would make me sleep right through my alarm clock... Rooms are small but neat, bathroom is rather small and the whole floor tends to get wet after you have taken a shower. This may all sound dreadful, but the friendliness of every sing... Read more

In the middle of Aalborg, in the most popular street. Breakfast was nice. But then to the flaws: The rooms were very very small, making ut feel trapped. In the evenings it was pretty loud due to party people, but we expected this anyway. The price was to high compared to what we got. TV did not work either. The sheets on the bed did NOT COVER the mattress, forcing us to sleep directly on some of the mattress, even though we tried to fix it. This was very unpleasant for us.

Our experience may be a matter of just awfull timing. Arriving after midnight just to sleep, it was soon clear that some 4-5 guests did not have the same agenda. I understand people want to have fun, and that your hearing is slightly less after a few drinks. But what I do simply not understand is that the hotel staff did not intervene ONCE during the whole night. At 7.00 when I got up, after very little sleep, these people were still going about the hotel - in and out - yelling and quaralling. A... Read more

This three-star hotel is located in Jomfru Ane Gade, the main party district of Aalborg. Next door is a shot-bar and a semi-fancy restaurant. Across the street is a 7/11. Down the line is a well of bars, pus and restaurants. The hotel itself is rather new, clean and cosy. You might find the noise from the street a bit disturbing. But they provide earplugs. Brekfeast is basic, but all right... Rooms are small, but is what you need... A great place if you're here for det show. Not so much if you'r... Read more

It was a real pleasure to stay in this simple but very convenient hotel. We had an opportunity to spend one night there for catching a flight the next day. Also in a very busy street, we could rest and sleep very well. The bus to the airport - every 30 minutes is just around the corner!

We all know that we cannot expect much from Danish hotels. No sheets in bed, small, etc. But none can prepare you for this experience. A *** star hotel (Confort) has to follow a minimum of standards, but Jomfru does not: there is no beverage in the room (or minibar), or telephone; there is no dressing mirror, no place to put luggage. The room was minuscule. Small even for London standards. The bed was just a sheet with a edredon folded above (a third world practice very common in the north of eu... Read more

The hotel seems to have a bar and a restaurant on various webpages, which is nonsense. The hotel has a reception, a breakfast-room and very small rooms. That's it. The people working in the hotel is really nice and helpful. All regards to them, because they are top of the crop. When you come to the hotel, it's a long stair up to the reception. No lift. And there is no lift to the rooms either. It's a stair lift for wheel-chairs, though. The hotel is placed in Jomfru Ane Gade, which is the centre... Read more

Aalborg - Hotel Jomfru Ane This was my second time visit to this hotel and I was looking for a budged and comfortable place in the centre of Aalborg. This hotel offered new and modern facilities at affordable prices. It was located at the heat of city centre and party life full of bars, restaurants, nightlife, etc. This hotel is great located if you are looking for an after party place to stay. I had a really tiny room but I am not sure that the same applies to all other rooms. I needed late c... Read more

Somewhere somebody made a big mistake when they thought that they had used enough soundproofing on this hotel. For the ones who come here to party till six in the morning: awesome hotel, great location and ok breakfast. For the ones who actually wants to sleep: Look elsewhere. Or just get a tent.

On a super loud but easy to find street with nice staff and a nice breakfast. Clean, minimalist with private bathroom. However, this street is LOUD. People partying until after 6. In the hotel every time the doors beside me were opened it sounded like the doors to my room were being opened. Nightmare to sleep. Also, not that cheap. I will stay elsewhere next trip to Aalborg.

The hotel is situated in Aalborg's main entertainment street, so don't book for a weekend! I stayed there during the week, so quiet at night and no problem. The room was clean and pleasant, so was breakfast. The only drawback was the peculiar and obscene Tintin pictures on the walls of the breakfast room. Unpleasant for children? Certainly, but the same goes for adults. New pictures on the wall, please! Be also aware that you need to climb stairs to enter!
