The staff at the Sheraton has been great. We had a spacious (by European standards) room with a very comfortable king size bed. The breakfasts were great. There were a number of restaurants in the neighborhood and close to public transportation - although we walked to the old town.

I favour SPG brand hotels and always been my preferred choice in every cities I travel to, but not recommend Sheraton Prague for following reasons: -unprofessional concierge - does he know what he is suggesting? rather rude and does not seems to know manner.... -restaurant food - low quality, not creative dishes, I tried seasonal special but steak was too bad accompanied by over boiled asparagus. The Prague Sheraton Charles Square has been possibly the best Hotel I've had the pleasure to visit. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Our luggage was lost by the airline and they did their very best to make a bad situation better. Our room was fantastic, and I loved the shower. I'm tall and I've had problems with the height of the shower in hotels, especially in Europe. The location was also great, near enough to the heart of the city, without being in the midst of all of the tou... Read more

A few weeks ago, I got to stay at the Sheraton Prague. The hotel was lovely and our room was spotless and a very welcoming place to come home to after a full day of sightseeing. For us, the hotel had a very convenient location from which we could walk everywhere in the city. All of the staff members at the Sheraton Prague were amazing! The front desk team was always very helpful and friendly. And Basem in Room Service was truly one of the friendliest and most hospitable people we've ever met. Hi... Read more

Keeping into consideration the standards in Prague, I believe the Sheraton deserves the 5 stars. All the staff including receptionists, housekeepers and waiters were quite friendly and professional, and I did not experience any of the issues reported by other reviewers. My junior suite at the first floor was not huge but still ok, with good facilities and, most important, a real 5-stars quality bed. Common areas and corridors are a bit cold, crowded and disappointing indeed if you have high expe... Read more

SPG is my favorite chain but Sheraton Prague does not really live up to the image: it is not exactly close to the city center and you have to pay for every single step, parking included (and an expensive one!) In addition, the hotel has a somewhat excessive policy on checking passports and visas that no other hotel in Prague has. Plus the crowds lured by the Viking Tours desk. For all the rest, the hotel is decent but I would say too expensive for what it offers.

This is the only SPG chain that upgraded me to a suite during my whole Europe trip. In total i visited 4 SPG hotels during this trip. It is about 10 mins away from the main train station by car. We arrive there by UBER which is only about Euro 6 and i was driven by an AUDI A8! Although the location is not in the old town, it is merely a 5 to 10 mins walk to Wenceslas Square which will also lead you into the old town in 5 Mins. The location was great: one block to public transportation and a nice 10-15 minute walk to the Charles Bridge or Old-Town Square. If climbing in and out of a higher tub to shower is physically difficult, ask for a room with just a shower. The Sheraton Prague Charles Square is a gem in the city. It is 15 minutes from most major attractions with rates that are more palatable. This property has some exception point redemptions if you are an SPG member. The rooms are updated and modern. If you are an SPG member with status this property strives to acknowledge that status. The Sheraton Hotel in Prague is a dated and drab hotel located on a busy commercial street in Prague. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the major tourist areas of the city. The hotel requires an update desperately. The lobby it Is unwelcoming and not a place to have a drink with friends. The staff is formal, cold, and generally unhelpful. The hotel is clean. Stayed here as part of a family trip around Europe. Stayed in 4 spg properties. This was by far the best. Nice small to mid size hotel with staff who were so friendly and accommodating. Location about 10 minute walk from old town. Modern airy rooms and super comfy beds. Breakfast is good, but as usual crazily priced. Option for full or continental breakfast. Stayed there for 2 nights in early August. We were under the impression that the hotel was very central, which it is not. Although it is within walking distance of the main square, it takes a good 20 minutes. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Personnel were courteous and all spoke English. Breakfast buffet was good. Food in the hotel restaurant was of very good standard. Lobby area is comfortable and cosy.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Everything worked as expected. No any complains. The hotel feeling was that it was a bit better hotel than standard. The staff was also nice and I felt welcome. The location was also very good!

Well located hotel that's a great value. I had a suite which was a fraction of the price it would be in Germany or Austria. Staff was uniformly helpful. The breakfast buffet was a good value with a wide variety, though it can get very crowded when the hotel is full. There's a mini market immediately next door, it's a short walk to the old town square and metro.

We had an excellent room with a high level of amenities. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the metro / Wenceslas Square and another 5 into the middle of the Old Town so that is worth considering. Good standard breakfast and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If the weather is good head to the roof top bar, it's a great way to see the skyline towards the castle and enjoy a cocktail too!

We are staying in this hotel at the end of a two week tour. The hotel has a post-Soviet feel to it. I think it has had a refurbishment, but Sheraton could have done a lot better. The staff and service however are wonderful. They welcomed us and helped in any way they could. The outlets are the 3 prong European style, not the 2 prong with side contact style. Just in case you need to pack converters.

Nothing really good about this hotel. Breakfast : acceptable. Rooftop bar. ..meh. Rooms : okay. Location : 20 minute walk from Old Town Square, on a non-descript busy street. You can do better, and, doubtless, worse. U have

Good basic hotel. It's 1km walk from Charles Bridge and Old Town. Close to the station, you can walk if you don't have luggage or take a ?5 taxi. Hotel is oddly designed- seems like an old Czech house that's been converted. You have to pass thru the lobby and the bar to get to back elevators to the rooms. The breakfast is standard fare. They do have a great rooftop bar that I highly recommend. It's not crowded, as you will find most tourists jostling for space in the town squares, come here in... Read more

Yes the title is confusing, but it was for a reason. This was my first time to Prague, so this is something new, but the city itself is old. Also, the Sheraton is a departure from my usual mainstay of a Crowne Plaza/Intercontinental. Something old, something new. So the history lesson aside, let's talk about the hotel. We arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than the normal check-in time of 1500. Unfortunately after driving 5 hours, there was no way to accommodate us with an early check-in... Read more

You get what you come to expect from an international group Hotel. I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for an odd Breakfast room. Some sitting inside in a rather dark area, some by where the buffet is situated, often busy and you might have to seat where you it wouldn't be of your choice. My bedroom was internal, therefore I'd say that, one benefit is that is quiet at night, on the other hand, I would always prefer a room with a view. Nothing to grumble about, clean with all one comes to ... Read more

Came here for a weekend in mid August for a stag weekend. It wasn't a typical lads weekend but more of a cultural event. The rooms are spacious enough and quiet. Bathrooms are clean with hot running water and was also pleasantly surprised to see an Iron and Iron board. Service is minimal and restricted to the lobby but staff were efficient and helpful. Only had Breakfast once but saw lots of fruit, cereal and continental style hot buffet. Overall, a nice experience, clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a post trip to our Viking River Cruise on the Danube. The room was typical of what you find with a tour group. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of items although the room could be very crowded at times. The bar on the roof was a nice area. We didn't have a drink up there, just went for the views at night. The location was accessible to public transit and within walking distance to several restaurants.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Sheraton Prague Charles Square for a business meeting and the bed in the room I stayed was truly the most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. I travel a lot for business and generally have a lot of trouble sleeping in hotels however at the Sheraton Prague Charles Square I had 2 great nights sleep because the bed was so comfortable. The pillows were just perfect too and the duvet cover just the right weight (some hotels have d... Read more

I recently spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Prague Charles Square hotel. The hotel is located a little out of town (10 -15 mins walk) from the hustle & bustle of Charles Bridge and the main shopping precinct/ tourist areas. The hotel was clean and functional and arranged airport pick up & drop off without a hitch. Not a bad place to stay if you don't mind walking into town.

We upgraded to a suite for our 6 nights in Prague. Great accommodation for the price. But the best thing about our stay was one of the staff members - Basem Hanna: he made our stay in Prague so much better. We would catch up with him each night in the Club room and talk about what we'd seen that day and our plans for the next day. He is a lovely guy and such an asset to the hotel. It makes a huge difference when the people you meet are so genuine. He told us about parts of the hotel that we wo... Read more

Spent about a month here on business. Located very close to the subway, the hotel is easily accessible. Also a stone's throw from the historic city centre and Charles Bridge. So this hotel is perfect for both business as well as for pleasure. The hotel has great Wi Fi connectivity and a nice gym and sauna. Breakfast is also good. Highly recommended !!

My wife and I love Prague. We have stayed at the Sheraton Charles Square twice and both times have been exceptional. The hotel has 'old world' charm with high ceilings and long windows, but with every modern amenity you would expect of a Starwood Property. It's centrally located so that you can walk pretty much every where, but if you prefer to venture further, it's near the tram stop and a metro station. The staff at the hotel are great! If we needed towels, they were at the door almost be... Read more

This was a lovely hotel. Our room was quite large (rm 229); although is was a handicapped room. Very quiet. The breakfast was very good; ;lots to choose from. The only problem I had was with the lighting in the bathroom above the sink--there was none. This made it a little dark for putting on makeup, but not impossible. This was part of a post package cruise tour so we did not know the price of the room exactly.

Very impressive staff. Very attentive and friendly. They all appear to be jolly. The experienced I had with the waiter Erick was exceptional. We sat on a table with a flask of coffee which I found not hot enough. It was replaced and we were given a warm milk. The rest of the mornings Erick has given me warm milk & freshly brewed coffee as soon as we arrived in the dining room. The bedroom was big and very comfortable. My husband slept very well to my surprised.

We were Starwood SPG guests Sept 2016 for five nights-room 835. This hotel was easily found using public transportation, tram from Prague Main Train Station. We arrived from Budapest. Our room was clean, comfortable, standard....we anticipated a larger/upgraded room due to Gold status. We understood that the hotel was at full occupancy during our stay. Mr. Lei at checkin was most welcoming and "George" at Concierge was so accommodating with every question that we had. He gave us excellent recomme... Read more

Fantastic service, very comfortable bed. Concierge provided great recommendations and assisted us in booking the hotel car service for a very reasonable rate--taking a day trip in a luxury car with a driver who was able to provide history and info on the city was really tremendous. I will exclusively stay here on future visits to Prague.
