We stayed for two nights in this lovely older hotel. Our room was on the third floor and opened out into a common living area that was nice to sit in when planning our day with friends that were traveling with us. The bathrooms had granite floors and walls and a nice large vanity. Beds were comfy with nice linens. The breakfast had lots of variety that we enjoyed every morning. Savic Hotel is a beautiful small boutique hotel. We spend three nights in May 2016 and left Prague with very good memories. The hotel is a very small hotel close to all major attractions. It used to be Dominican monastery, but restored to high standards. The restaurant is perfect and free wifi is available. However, the elevator can only go up to the third floor and for comfort seeking American tourist last flight of stairs after the third floor may be an disadvantage. Also, air conditioning is... The hotel booked our taxis to and from the airport and made excellent recommendations for concerts, restaurants, and booked tables for us etc. The rooms are elegant, beds and pillows very comfortable. My husband and I lucked out with a huge two room suite with very large marble bathroom. Every floor has a elegant common lounge. This hotel was very charming- my wife and I stayed for one night. We had a top-floor room where the wooden beams were beautifully preserved and showcased. The restaurant was very good as well. We had a very early checkout (~5:30) to catch a train: the staff were very accommodating and made grab-bags with brunch for us since we left before the regular breakfast opened.

This is a glorious hotel in the best location in Prague. We booked a standard room which was high up but small windows and low head beams. I asked for change room and for small fee got magnificent room. All good but service slow but same all of Slovac they like it slow.

Amazing hotel with old feel charm. Stayed here for 4 nights and loved the place. Staff were friendly and engaged, and the location could not be beat. It's close to the main tourist attractions and surrounded by many bars and restaurants.

This hotel is in the perfect location to visit Prague its five minutes from the old town square and Charles bridge. The hotel is a cross between cute and quirky with lovely bedrooms and a relaxed feel of luxury. It was my birthday and was sent a bottle of sparkling by the management (thank you). The staff were very polite at all times. The breakfast was excellent and varied but the hot food could be a little warmer ( perhaps the electric warming servers switched on earlier). Do you remember the days when the staff knew your name and what would make your day delightful, well they are back. The team at the Savic are simply first class. The hotel is very we'll located in the old town, close to the square but just tucked away for you to enjoy a meal or possibly the best gin and tonic in Prague from their charming terrace whilst watching the world go by.

Comfortable, clean hotel with pleasant high ceiling room and very friendly staff. Location of hotel was excellent - close to everything. Negatives were that wifi was unavailable in our room and the aircon did not respond to controls so room either too hot or too cold.

We can't add much to the hundreds of positive reviews already posted for the Savic, other than to say "thank you" to the owners and staff for making our four night stay so enjoyable. The hotel is the antidote for the typical sterile business or tourist hotel. It has loads of character due to its history, the spacious rooms have soaring arched ceilings and old oak parquet floors. It has a "lived in" and comfortable feel about it but it's not shabby or tired. Some reviewer noted street noise (from... Read more

Me and my husband visited for 2 nights on the 6th September 2016. Could not fault this hotel at all it was lovely. We had a street view and this was not noisy at all due to double glazing. Prague has become out favorite place to go and the hotel helped with this decision. The rooms were spotless and very spacious we had 2 queen sized beds. The bathrooms are beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. See you next year Savic Hotel.

Hotel Savic is a two minute walk from the large square with the famous Astronomical Clock - a perfect location! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom very well equipped. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English. The breakfasts were filling and tasty and there was great variety. The hotel's restaurant was a nice surprise; the menu offered a lot of options and the food was very tasty. This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Prague.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Savic hotel, which I choose having read other tripadvisor reviews, and they weren't wrong . It is a lovely hotel in a brilliant location , couldn't have been better. On arrival our room wasn't ready , so we had a quick change of clothes and left our luggage with reception, and went out to explore. Hotel reception gave us a map, marked where we were and told us a few places around including a good bar on the corner just opposite the hotel, definately worth a visi... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights in a superior attic room. The room was characterful, low beams ( not good if you are tall ! ) lovely marble bathroom, everything was very clean. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, very central, we walked almost everywhere - only using the Trams once to Prague Castle, because it involved climbing a lot of steep steps ! We would definitely stay at the Hotel again if we returned... Read more

Have stayed three nights in September 2016 in this hotel for a city-holiday. The hotel is located directly in the old part of Prague, a lot of site seeing is in walking distance. Have selected their offered pick-up service (for a reasonable price), worked well. Got a warm welcome at the reception and a lot of great information what could be done or seen. During our stay the reception has been continuously helpful and friendly. Have booked a junior suite with a four poster bed. Nice, stylis... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for my first trip to Prague. I was there for a week and had a great time. The staff were very helpful in giving information about things to do and see. They booked transportation for us and the airport service was very convenient. Good breakfast buffet and restaurant on site. Location was perfect for walking to many interesting sites in Prague.

We were delighted to spend some time with the folks at Savic. Melody and I travel to Prague more frequently and love to spend our anniversary there. We were wonderfully surprised at this hidden gem. The location was perfect, service impressive and room very nice. Jana, the receptionist and concierge was a delight, very friendly, extremely helpful and personable. The breakfast was decent, nothing stood out as impressive on the food, I know they could make improvements there. However, we felt at h... Read more

We had a great time in Prague - The Savic Hotel is very central. Our friends did ask to change their room on arrival. They were allocated at the very top - up a spiral staircase. It was to small for them. They were moved without any fuss - so not really a problem. Very clean with friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We all had a great time!!

The location is excellent and the staff were great. My luggage was lost when flying in and the receptionist at the desk was very helpful in calling the airline for updates and to make sure I got it. The restaurant there had fantastic food and a nice outdoor patio. Very glad we stayed here.
