We got a chance to stay at the Parkhotel as part of a Danube river cruise with Grand Circle Cruise Lines. We came in a day early for the cruise which also included two nights at this hotel. So, first with the good news. The hotel is located quite a ways from Old Town Square so you need to use public transit. The good news is that a tram station is just outside the front door of the hotel. The trams will take you to Old Town and the Prague Castle in about 10 minutes and the trams run frequen... Read more

Parkhotel is a complete value for money. Near to city centre, only 5-7 mins with Tram. Tram service is very frequent every 2-3 mins. Complete hotel was maintained, Rooms were clean. They have sufficient staff at the time of breakfast to cater guests. City tours can be arranged by hotel staff, tour operaters will pick you up from Hotel. Although we have not used room service, but prices seems to be not expensive. View from our room was good. We stayed on 8th floor. Kids play room was missing, cou... Read more

My and my brother went in Prague for a business trip. We stayed one night. Room was clean and very well maintained. Shower was very refreshing and they it should be. free breakfast in a morning and food was delicious. We could eat as much as we wanted all included in price. Only one thing was disappointing that our room was looking over the empty site. which was not so great to look at. But for one night stay it perfect.

It is away from tourist areas but only a few stops via tram to Prague Castle, Old Town Square and Jewish Synagogues. It is in a safe area and there is a local supermarket within 2 blocks from the hotel. Hotel is a little worn out. Buffet breakfast is very good with a lot of food choices to cater to everyone.

This hotel is nominally ranked a four star hotel, but doesn't have the amenities of a four star hotel within the rooms. The bed was fine and the room was spacious. The hotel is modern built in 2013, but the grounds have virtually no landscaping. The breakfast was quite good except that the coffee machines were not working much of the time when there were lots of people in the dining room. This hotel appears to be used predominently by tour groups. My wife and I were part of one of those g... Read more

I was part of a tour and know they chose this hotel for volume of rooms, big American style restaurant and on the tram line. It worked. However I would not stay here if not part of a tour or on a business trip (like others I met in the elevator and hallways.) The room was comfortable and the breakfast was fine, but you are far from the Prague you have come to see. The choices for restaurants are slim, you are in a residential area. Arrived late to the hotel (about 10pm) so check in was quick and smooth. Only 20mins taxi from airport. Impressed at the reception area which leads in open plan to a nice bar area and breakfast dining. Room was on the 5th floor and I was pleased at the overall cleanliness of the room and hallways. Bathroom was smaller than average with only a shower (no bath) but again, all clean and tidy. Electronic safe which is programmed with key was a good touch. A great hotel in the lobby and the dining room with great design, architecture and style. I was impressed, in fact it felt retro super modern. The rooms were possibly 25 years old with decoration sense and condition. Carpets, old. Mattresses, molded to previous occupants bodies with creases in the middle. Rooms are way too small. Bathroom was updated but barely enough space to move. I felt like I was in a capsule. Breakfast was good the first day but on Monday the second day the standard had sli... Read more

This is a nice and modern hotel, at the outside of the city and without all the noice and bustle of the city. Also is located near a very nice park where you can walk or run and visit some museums and even a ferris wheel! Also you can go to a show of dancing fountains at 10pm!!! A tram pass just in front so you can go to every part of Prague in only few minutes. On the other hand we had some issues at this hotel which they can improve: we asked for a king size bed and at the lobby they told us t... Read more

Have just checked out after a week at the Park Hotel, staying in room 608 - the Chestnut suite. Our room was spotless clean, spacious and suited our needs perfectly. Bathroom had a tub and a separate shower and was spacious and all brass details were shining. There was also a second toilet in the hallway which is useful when you're two adults and two children. We had a lovely view from our room and the AC kept us cool on hot summer days. The TV has lots and lots of channels in several lang... Read more

Prague is like a fairy tale city. The location of this hotel is away from the hustle bustle of the main area (Charles bridge and around) but it should not be mistaken as a suburb. It is barely 3-4 kms from the main area. This area is peaceful (not isolated). Tram station is right outside the Hotel. Tram 24 takes you to Old Town as well as New Town. Tram 17 directly takes you to Charles Bridge. Tram 26 goes from a 300 metres away stop which takes you to Hlavni Nadrazi (Prague Main Station) - whet... Read more

Quiet an ugly hotel. The name Park Hotel Doesn't mean the hotel is in or at the horder of a park (less is true). The building isn't attractive. The deterred parking spot costs a lot, 60 Euro for three days. The rooms are okay. The beds are really good. The shower doesn't give much water, and the temperature of the water varies. The breakfast is not worthy for a 4 star hotel, quality of juice, youghort and so one isn't high. The hotel,is quiet far from the center and you haven't so much choice to... Read more

Our experience at this hotel started off on the wrong foot. After checking in with a large tour group, we got to our room and needed to use the toilet. The seat was broken and I nearly fell off. We decided to take the Chestnut Suite which could easily fit our four person family (instead of taking two separate rooms). The 239? for two nights was reasonable. This hotel is a major disappointment. The room is tiny, half the size of the cabin on the river boat. The staff are rude and not helpful. It is a good place to avoid. There is nothing you come to Prague to enjoy anywhere near the hotel. And the view out the window is disgusting. It looks like an abandoned construction area.

I have been at Parkhotel Prague for business, after trying many other mid-level business hotel in the city. While the exterior is still a soviet-style era building, the interior is completely renovated, as well as the room, which are modern and comfortable.
