I have only positive words about this hotel. Slept there two nights while sightseeing in Prague. The breakfast selection was pretty wide, we could have a gluten-free roll and even found some vegan meals next to the general rich selection... The reception was really kind and helpful, there was enough parking slot in the garage and the bad was really comfortable to sleep on.. Wifi was working properly and the metro is a 3 mins. walking distance. Great experience in that beautiful city.

Do not be fooled by the hotel name, it is at least a 10 minute walk from Wenceslas square and about 25 minutes from the old town. Everything is above the old town so if you stay here prepare for alot of walking. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable and we did not have our room cleaned or fresh towels during our stay. We were welcoming with a bottle of champagne and strawberries which was nice, but we were also welcomed with a builder in our room sorting out the television on the w... Read more

The hotel is close to the Metro, but far from all the wonderful places in Prague. Rooms are spacey, but very negative that only the little part of the window could be opened 4 cm - by force. The design of the office table seems to be more designed than practical. It is not comfortable sitting there working on a Laptop! Bathroom is OK. I have over the last 20 years been on hundreds of hotels - also this Novotel and next door Ibis when they were brand new. So my recommendation, try to find somet... Read more

Great hotel service, starting from the reception attentive to every request and question, the waiters is polite and courteous. Clean and pleasant hotel. The only problem we encountered is the room service did not replace towels, trash not emptied and arrange the room. Which is 4 nights, after two days we asked arrange the room, other days, we had to go and ask the maid toilet paper and towels. I must say, as a gift we asked for, we got the best service possible.

Novotel Prague in Wenceslas Square is an awesome property with nice rooms, excellent wifi facility and super breakfasts. I visited Prague during May 2016 and enjoyed the location of this hotel and Wenceslas Square was walking distance from the hotel, which is around 1.5 KM away. We could cover this distance in less than 30 minutes by walk.

I'd say this is a very good 3 star bordering a 4 star. The reception area is typical novotel but the rooms weren't quite there when I stayed. However it's in a great location and was good value so i'd give it a firm 4 rating.

Good location if you plan on metro and is called Wenceslas square but it is not!!! located in the square but a10minuets walking from it. great breakfast and surprising in house pool that our kids loved but I could not go in it was too cold for me. good place to sleep and go out to a full day of city sight. funny thing with the elevator is that you need to use your room key to go up.

The hotel was okay. Averaged rate was about ?125/night including breakfast. My room comment, bit stiff bed, very weak wifi, and toilet & bath is separated with a wall,And there is no water faucet inside the Toilet. A/C was acceptable temperature, but the fan was kind of weak. Breakfast was complete, breads, sausages, eggs, cheese, fruits, coffee machines and a lot more healthy stuff. The Lobby bar was alright, beer and menu to eat is available too. Location, if you like walking around. It is ... Read more

The hotel is not the newest and probably also a little bit on the pricey side (I as a Accor member could profit of some great rates so it didn't matter) but the location is perfect: close to metro station "Pavlova" and also nearby the Wenceslas square (even though not directly at the square, like the name may indicate). There are a lot of pubs, bars and clubs in the neighberhood which are better and cheaper than the ones directly at the square. The staff is lovely and even the WiFi is quite fast... Read more

This hotel does not provide the service I would expect from the Accor group. Most staff appear to have received little customer service training, very few smiles and some very abrupt replies. Some other issues: we booked a room with a balcony, it was just some concrete outside the room with a view over some old apartment buildings; no free water in the room and when I asked why I was told because I could drink the tap water; the hot breakfast items were terrible, hard overcooked bacon, tasteless... The hotel is very close to IP PAVLOVA tube station (one block away) and many tram stations as well. From IP Pavlova, you'll have a direct access to Prague Castle through Tram 22 (20 minutes - nice trip). To go to Old Town and Charles bridge take the green line by tube (4 blocks away at NAMESTI MIRU Station, on the other side of the church when coming from the hotel). The location of the Novotel is brilliant. It's about a 10 minutes walk to the city centre. It's also about 10 minutes from the main station. There's a supermarket just at the corner of the hotel. This chain is just brilliant for families. The room size is very good; the best I've seen so far among the novotels I've stayed in. It's close to the size of the room at Novotel suites. This was a standard Novotel which served its purpose. Slightly misleading name for the hotel as its not on Wenceslad square but its around a 10 min walk (downhill on the way there, uphill coming back!) Staff all very pleasant and rooms and public areas very clean, bright and welcoming. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was visiting prague again!

Stayed at the Novotel Wenceslas Square on a business trip. The great thing with Novotel is that you know what you are going to get and that it will be OK. The hotel is in a good location, easy walking from the city centre / Wenceslas Square, but remarkably quiet. Comfortable room and reasonable breakfast - the breakfast area not being overly busy making for a pleasant experience. The hotel has a nice pool and sauna. Staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful.
