I stayed for one night in the ibis Wenceslas Square hotel with my family. I asked via email for one of the new rooms, because I have already had not so good exprerience from one of the other hotels. The staff offered me one of the new thematical rooms. I chose "feel like at home room" (I did not know, how it looks like, it was till the door opening a suprise). The other were season room and music room. But please note-these rooms are only double rooms with one bed. It is easy to arrive the hot... Read more

Comfortable hotel located in district #2 in Prague, this means that while not being in the mere city center, it is not far from main attractions. The tram route is just at some 2 or 3 blocks, and there you can catch the lines that will take you to the main city attractions. Wenceslas square is located some four blocks down to the center. There is enough variety of products for breakfast, only coffee tastes bad. Personnel are willing to help and fast on providing needed support, they helped me to... Read more

I was meeting Irish friends here while they were visiting the Czech republic. Like the last time I stayed here I had a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. Only about 10 minutes form the city centre and 2 minutes from the I.P.Pavlova Metro station. Highly recommended. I'll be back with my wife for another visit in September.

The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Spent the majority of the time outside, so it didn't bother us at all. We were very happy with the clean bathroom and shower. Good breakfast. Best of all- not far from city center and all major transportation.

Despite it being named as such, this Ibis is almost a kilometre's walk from Wenceslas Square. The hotel is comfortable enough, very clean and a good breakfast was served. I needed some laundry done so used the hotel service. At £45 for five Tshirts, a few socks and some underwear, I feel that price was excessive in the extreme

The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk from the main train station and Wenceslas Square and a 20 minute walk to the old town. The hotel rooms are standard size (budget) with just enough space for clothing and luggage. The shower was clean and the room was provided with clean towels each day. The buffet breakfast provided good choice and was open till 10am. The staff were helpful enough but at times the service was a bit slow. The hotel ticks the budget hotel box and is fine as a base to sights... Read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel isn't right on Wenceslas Square, but it's really only a very short walk, in fact it's within walking distance of most of the major tourist sights in Prague- and if you really don't want to walk it, there's a metro stop pretty much on the doorstep where you can get a 24hr pass for 110czk. Although it is this close to everything you would want to see, the location was very quiet at night. There are also several corner shops and express supermarkets nea... Read more

I noticed a review done in April expressed concern over the safety of the single bed set up,because the lady actually fell out of one. I stayed in late May and the problem still exists. The beds are comfortable enough, it's just that they seem to have a 'topper' mattress and it is prone to moving over the edge. Lucky for me, I realised it was an issue and avoided falling out of bed. As to its location, it isn't 'on' Wensclas Square as one might picture in ones mind, but if you are agile isn't far... Read more

Having stayed at this hotel previously I'm quite happy to use it as it's conveniently located for my needs. It ticks all the right boxes. In other words a typical Ibis - one knows what to expect. I still think University would be a better title for the hotel rather than Wencelas Square!

Great hotel, clean modern room that was good size. Hair dryer in room fine to use. We didn't have mini bar/fridge in our room. Breakfast provided had lots of choice with comfortable modern dining area. Staff were friendly and spoke multiple languages. Ordered burgers from hotel kitchen for quick tea one night & were pretty good. Free wi-fi worked well.

The ibis is very close to the central city of Prague: The hotel is value of money for the price you pay as Prague is a very expensive city with a lot to do. The rooms are compact, the toilets are small. But the hotel is clean and the breakfast is very decent with some cereal options, lots of breads and croossants and some fruits and meats. Remember the price you pay; and it's all you need as you tend to be out all day in such a vibrant city as this Wifi needs improvement as it kept going on ... Read more

Rooms were fine. Clean. Bed not as comfortable as the newer beds in other Ibis hotels worldwide. The staff on the front desk were not very friendly - maybe this is a Czech thing, but I was disappointed with the service. The maids entered my room twice while I was in there, despite me having the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. They need to be told what putting the do not disturb sign on the door means. The location is decent but still a fair walk to the old town - 20 mins or so. Going the... Read more

Its not at the square. Its a big lie. Its a 900 metre walk to the Wenceslas square. The breakfast is ordinary, please be in time because even if the timings are till 10am...there is a good chance that some of the items will be over and not replenished (try tomorrow...so I was told) I understand Ibis is a boutique hotel but that doesnt stop the staff from being informed about the city or helping out. The frontdesk was least helpful and very transactional.

I spent a couple of nights here. Very comfortable stay. I arrived earliar than the 1400hr and since rooms wer available reception was weloming me in accomodting. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. A little nocie when the adjoining room would flush their WC, but no big deal. Weather was excellent. This is not right in the center from the hustle and bustle but still very close to the places to be . All in all Very good. Yest the breakfast was very sumpuous too. Nothing extravagant but you dont need... Read more

Hotel Ibis Praha Wenceslas Square is clearly a budget hotel, but a nice one. No frills, no thrills, no problems. Room was small but clean, air conditioning was effective and the bed was ok. There was an extra duvet and pillow in the closet. There were little things I didn't like: walls were so thin one could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Wifi worked well, but I needed to log back in every time a device went to sleep. That is really anno... Read more

The hotel was nice. Room was average sized. But the toilette was too small! Make sure you take one with proper ventilation too! A lot of people checks-in and checks-out as large groups, so give yourself ample time. Also i forgot my phone adapter, when i asked the receptionist he said he needs Euro 20 as security deposit , lol! (pls note other Accor hotels gave me charger free of cost and never bothered to ask back though we gave back). Also this place is definitely not in Wenceslas Square. It'... Read more

We stayed here four nights. We often stay at Ibis hotels and this hotel didn't disappoint: friendly and helpful staff, clean room, quiet (except when guests left early in the morning and slammed the door shut), comfortable bed, lovely breakfast with a big choice of meat, fruit and bread. Lovely to be able to sit outside on the patio and have your breakfast. The only thing we missed were tea and coffee facilities in the room. But there is a small cafeteria in the reception area.

Stayed here for 2nights an average 3star hotel inside the city. Close to city center and all tourist area. Easy access thru tram. Comfortable bed. The only downside are, the staff are not service oriented. Not willing to assist even approaching them they looked annoyed when asked for a few info about the city. Slow internet & the main door are too noisy. Its shaking the entire floor when someone close their own door so suddenly. Far from the hotel Ibis that i know. We love the city of prague... Read more

Clean and well-run Ibis hotel in a convenient location for most of Prague, being just 3 minutes walk from "IP Pavlova" metro station, and about 8-10 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square. The room we had was of average size, with everything fully functional, although the wifi had an annoying feature of disconnecting unless I kept my iPhone screen live all the time. When connected and in use, the wifi strength was good. Breakfast had a good range of choice. We didn't have any other meals or drink... Read more

Nice hotel just outside of old city, nice personal with good english. Just ok breakfast. Room was clean and equipped cool, quiet and working AC unit. Matrix little worn. Extremely good location for public transportation, metro about 150m, tram 100m and bus about 150m. Also Taxi stand about 150m. Closer to National Museum than Wenceslas Square. Closest metro stop I.P.Pavlova.

The facilities provided in the shower were not comparable to other IBIS hotels. I noticed that hand wash lotion was provided in the shower which is odd. Shower gel or soap solution should have been provided. Breakfast was good for the budget though

Good stay here. Budget hotel about a 15-20 minute walk from the main train station and 5-10 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. Popular with a variety of tourists. Rooms were decently sized and clean, nothing fancy. Wifi was okay, slow and hard to connect at times. Breakfast average. Helpful staff. Overall, inexpensive and good value. Would recommend it if looking for a cheap and clean place to stay.

Booked a flight and hotel deal through British Airways which we thought was great value. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes from wenceslas square, maybe 20 mins from the old town square. It's very walkable but quite hilly around the hotel itself so something to consider if you have mobility issues. Really close to the IP Pavlova metro station. We arrived and were given a double room instead of a twin but reception staff were happy to change this for us. Rooms were very clean and plenty of sp... Read more
