I stayed for one night in the ibis Wenceslas Square hotel with my family. I asked via email for one of the new rooms, because I have already had not so good exprerience from one of the other hotels. The staff offered me one of the new thematical rooms. I chose "feel like at home room" (I did not know, how it looks like, it was till the door opening a suprise). The other were season room and music room. But please note-these rooms are only double rooms with one bed. It is easy to arrive the hot... Read more

Comfortable hotel located in district #2 in Prague, this means that while not being in the mere city center, it is not far from main attractions. The tram route is just at some 2 or 3 blocks, and there you can catch the lines that will take you to the main city attractions. Wenceslas square is located some four blocks down to the center. There is enough variety of products for breakfast, only coffee tastes bad. Personnel are willing to help and fast on providing needed support, they helped me to... Read more

I was meeting Irish friends here while they were visiting the Czech republic. Like the last time I stayed here I had a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. Only about 10 minutes form the city centre and 2 minutes from the I.P.Pavlova Metro station. Highly recommended. I'll be back with my wife for another visit in September.

Despite it being named as such, this Ibis is almost a kilometre's walk from Wenceslas Square. The hotel is comfortable enough, very clean and a good breakfast was served. I needed some laundry done so used the hotel service. At £45 for five Tshirts, a few socks and some underwear, I feel that price was excessive in the extreme

The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk from the main train station and Wenceslas Square and a 20 minute walk to the old town. The hotel rooms are standard size (budget) with just enough space for clothing and luggage. The shower was clean and the room was provided with clean towels each day. The buffet breakfast provided good choice and was open till 10am. The staff were helpful enough but at times the service was a bit slow. As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel isn't right on Wenceslas Square, but it's really only a very short walk, in fact it's within walking distance of most of the major tourist sights in Prague- and if you really don't want to walk it, there's a metro stop pretty much on the doorstep where you can get a 24hr pass for 110czk. Although it is this close to everything you would want to see, the location was very quiet at night. There are also several corner shops and express supermarkets nea... Read more

I noticed a review done in April expressed concern over the safety of the single bed set up,because the lady actually fell out of one. I stayed in late May and the problem still exists. The beds are comfortable enough, it's just that they seem to have a 'topper' mattress and it is prone to moving over the edge. Lucky for me, I realised it was an issue and avoided falling out of bed. As to its location, it isn't 'on' Wensclas Square as one might picture in ones mind, but if you are agile isn't far... Read more

The ibis is very close to the central city of Prague: The hotel is value of money for the price you pay as Prague is a very expensive city with a lot to do. The rooms are compact, the toilets are small. But the hotel is clean and the breakfast is very decent with some cereal options, lots of breads and croossants and some fruits and meats. Rooms were fine. Clean. Bed not as comfortable as the newer beds in other Ibis hotels worldwide. The staff on the front desk were not very friendly - maybe this is a Czech thing, but I was disappointed with the service. The maids entered my room twice while I was in there, despite me having the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. They need to be told what putting the do not disturb sign on the door means. Its not at the square. Its a big lie. Its a 900 metre walk to the Wenceslas square. The breakfast is ordinary, please be in time because even if the timings are till 10am...there is a good chance that some of the items will be over and not replenished (try tomorrow...so I was told) I understand Ibis is a boutique hotel but that doesnt stop the staff from being informed about the city or helping out. Hotel rooms are ok. The essential, pretty clean, bed IS ok. But when it comes the following morning when you go to breackfat you will not find any bacon and very bad scrambled eggs. The orange and apple juices look like water with some artificial flavor of the fruit....very bad. Rolls and croissants are bad as well and most of the tuime are not fresh but made the day before you are lucky. Such a breakfast would cost 11 Euro. Better go outside....

Hotel is well situated for all tourist activities in Prague. Very close to metro station. Did not eat in the hotel as part of visiting Prague was to sample local cuisine. Matt (polish gentlemen) who was working on the evening shift on reception gave exceptional customer service. He suggested local places to eat and advice on travel arrangement (i.e. tram, metro). He is a great asset to the team at ibis Praha Wenceslas Square Bed was a kind of sofa bed mattress with a mattress topper on top ... Read more

Bright foyer with friendly staff. Room was comfortable, clean bathroom and good shower. Breakfast could be better. One two slice toaster for whole area, so be prepared to queue for toast. Fruit came as a compote, would prefer fresh fruit. Wonder how many days the compote is brought out ? However breakfast staff were always smiling and welcoming. Floors in corridor areas a bit stained but bedroom was okay. Location was good, five minute walk into main tourist area.

The Ibis Wenceslas square is a modern facility, as can be expected from the Ibis hotels. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the bed is great. The bathroom is modern, with easy to operate shower. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre, alternatively the local tram bus and metro are less than 5 minutes away. Prague is a great town to while many a day and I will certainly return

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great base. It really is 5-10 mins away from Wenceslas Square which is a street rather than a square that leads down to the old town. Our room was very nice and modern on the 5th floor. Breakfast was included and was served between 6 and 10. Scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, fruit, croissant etc There is a little shop in reception selling alcohol, soft drinks and snacks plus pc's. the room had a hairdryer, tv, and c... We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights at the end of October. For the price of the room we couldn??t fault this hotel at all. The room was clean and had enough space. The bed was comfortable and bathroom more than adequate with a nice powerful shower. There was no noise experienced at all during out stay. The breakfast lacked a choice of hot items but otherwise the selection was very good with typical continental offerings; fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese, ham, boiled egg, cereals, pastries and cake... The staff were pleasant and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. WIFI worked well. I would stay there again. Location was easy to get to and into the city. THIS IS NUTS THAT MY COMMENTS MUST BE AT LEAST 200 CHARACTERS LONG!

The location is further from Wenceslas Square than the name would suggest. It is close to Pavlova metro station. Enjoyed the welcome plate of fruit for being a loyalty card holder (other Ibis hotels have not done this in the past). Also appreciated the comfortable temperature of the room.

Given nice large room. Honoured my Ibis Business Card. Booked another night because of the great room and good location. Quiet. Watch the parking fee. EUR 20+ / CZK 550 per day. Ouch !! Ibis should give Business card holders discount on parking as well. Strange they could not find my first night booking when checked out. Took several minutes to locate. Even though paid parking and front desk staff stated the parking ticket was validated it did not work at the gate. The parking garage a... Read more

Everything was perfect, from the check-in to checkout. As a Platinum Member of the Le Club, I received a personalized treatment, including a fruit basket and free drinks. I also could do a late checkout. To wrap up: good job, Ibis!

We have got what we expected. It is quiet close to all of Wenceslas Squere, New and Old Town. The rooms have basic facilities without mini bar. Positives: good location, clean, good services, good price Negatives: weak wi-fi.

We stayed for 3 nights and found the location here was great, easy walk to/from the central train station and the center of town. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Price was great. Staff were helpful at check-in and provided us with plenty of information for our stay.
