The room: Small, and without anything extra The price / quality: Worth money The location: Very well located, Andel metro (good for airport nearby), Novy Smichov shopping centre, Staropramen brewery... The service:Friendly but check-in took long time Worth to mention: Lunch buffet was quite good option

My team and I stayed at this Ibis because of its proximity to the Zofin Palace where we were holding a large event. You can get downtown with a taxi in less than 10 minutes or even walk in about half an hour. In retrospect, there were likely better options closer to the historic part of town, but this one is close to a mall and other shopping/dining options. We found this hotel to be very loud as it stands on the corner of a major intersection. To our chagrin, the wifi was hit or miss, though it... Read more

Reasonable rates, warm and friendly reception, modern rooms, good breakfast. Close to the station Andel, restaurants and other shopping places. Rooms were bit small but perfect for business visits. One of the lowest rates with standard Ibis facilities.

This May I needed something intellectualy stimulating. I took the calendar and picked the date, then made the booking. The place to stay was clear a choice, my experience at Ibis Mala Strana was always great. Except for that, the hotel's location is perfect to travel to any corner of the town - public transport is reliable and at a very reasonable price. My stay had 3 stages: arty-party, ice-hockey-recovery and the Carl-4th's-Crown. The hotel was a steady support to rely on, for all phases, wit... Read more

The Ibis Mala Strana seems "out of town" - but you'll get peace to enjoy the delights of Prague without suffering from the din of stag & hen parties, lads & ladettes carousing round the city centre. Ibis has a basic formula - uniform architecture, clean well-equipped rooms, no frills you don't need, and always a reasonable room rate. It's a perfect way to see Europe's cities without having to "learn" a string of hotels' setup and variations. You know where you are with Ibis, and this Prague hote... Read more

True to it's budget hotel reputation, the hotel offers bare minimum but clean rooms. When a hotel refuses to offer basic amenities like dental kits you know that the hotel is taking it's budget really seriously :) The location is not the best, as most of the people prefer to stay in the old town. However, it's right next to a mall and fit guests can walk all the way upto the Prague castle

We have stayed there several times (up to 5-6); every time happy with everything; good standard at reasonable price; always very welcoming at the reception; just the breakfast price unreasonable high.

We stayed in this hotel for our winter holiday. We were totally satisfied with our choice, it was clean, the room had all the essentials, all of which came at a reasonable price. The location is a 40 minute walk to the Old Town, but it's close to the subway station and the tram station. The neighborhood is nice and is worth exploring as well, also the hotel is situated next to a big shopping mall and a supermarket which is very convenient. They have a problem with Wi-Fi though. It seemed overl... Read more

Great hotel for what we paid. Clean rooms, TV, hot water etc. Breakfast was great too. A lit to choose from. Service was great too. The hotel located near big mall, and fast food restaurants + a few shoes & clothes stores. The Metro is very close to the hotel, just a few meters.

The new beds ibis are promoting are really comfortable. They definitely make a huge difference to previous bedding. The Ibis here in Prague 5 is quite good. You can pay a premium for being in the center of Prague so stay a little way out and I mean a 5-10 min tram ride to charles bridge etc and you can save a great deal. Trams are easy and cheap. Realistically its only a 25 min walk anyway, so for me this hotel was perfect. It is also a few minutes walk to a major shopping center with food hall ... Read more

5/5 for the location as it is very well connected through trams/buses/metro. It is just a few mtrs walk from the Andel station from where one can reach out to almost all the popular tourist destinations. The hotel is just like any other Ibis property and does what the brand is know for. Rooms are of decent size with basic amenities with good sleep quality. Special mention about the Wifi, which is really poor. Overall a 3.5/5 experience.

The hotel itself is in a great location, shopping mall right next door with a big tesco. The tram line runs outside as well. The rooms felt bare, white walls and the windows were small, felt line I was in a prison. The bed was ok, The bathroom is small and there was no bath tub. The food was good and staff were friendly. It is a shame that the rooms were not great as the hotel is in a great location.

I truly think this hotel is a 2 star rather than 3. Everything is very minimal, without any special touches. The bathroom and bed were clean, however the rest of the room was not. There were stains on the carpet, but worst of all were the conditions of the walls and window handles. They looked like they had not been cleaned, EVER. And I'm not just talking about scuffs from luggage. Because those are fine. The walls had brown and sticky something on them, including on the window handle. After s... Read more

The hotel is located in a very convenient location and is well connected by Trams and Subway. The rooms are just as you would expect in any Ibis hotel - convenience minus the extra frills. The room is not very spacious but the beds provide good sleeping comfort and the wifi worked well in my case.

Overall very good experience with the hotel. The breakfast, staff, room, cleanliness are all great. There is good restaurants, shopping and train stations nearby the hotel too. Only area that needs improvement is WiFi internet access. It's sporadic and slow, drop-off frequently.

Avoidable hotel. Hardly any toiletries, no hand towels, no tea/coffee making facilities, not even cups or glasses in the room, no drinking water, no fridge, no waste basket in the room, no tissue paper. Housekeeping poor. They charge ? 5 per night for a kettle for making tea. Tiny rooms ?? at best a bed & breakfast hostel. Even B&B hostels provide some basic facilities. Also pretty far from the city and tourist attractions, not suitable for tourists. A huge disappointment. Saving grace is the... Read more

This hotel is a good hotel if you don't want to spend a lot of money and still enjoy a clean, good hotel in Prague. The rooms are small ( there is just enough room for one person to walk past the bed) but clean and neat with new furniture, good beds and a desk area by the window with a chair and a little bench so you can both sit somewhere else than on the beds if you want to. It is not too noisy, while we were staying there there was a stag party and a big sports team staying there but we didnt... Read more

I enjoyed my stay a lot here. I got a little early than I had expected but then the staff were very kind and helpful explaining the situations. Breakfast was good enough to start your new day and the room was also very clean. I literally could not find any minus factor. Will definitely visit again! :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased. It is a typical, basic functional European hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, a little on the small side but ideal for 2 people. The pillows were a little soft for our liking but this is a very minor complaint. It is in a very quiet area and the hotel itself was very quiet. We slept wonderfully for the entire trip. The hotel is located next door to a large shopping centre (and Tesco supermarket) and it is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tram... Read more

A typical Ibis hotel, spacious and clean, rather anonymous rooms, everything including WiFi works very smoothly, the staff at the reception desk is friendly and extremely helpful. Great feature: There are two computers and a printer in the lobby, very convenient for printing out your boarding pass. The breakfast is nothing special, and if it is not included in your stay, I suggest you go somewhere else. The same applies for the buffet dinner, you get a better quality and at a much lower price e... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Leger European coach tour and is a typical Ibis hotel, spacious and clean, rather anonymous small rooms but everything including WiFi works. What this hotel does offer is location. Very close to Andel tram and metro stations which can wisk you into town quickly and cheaply. Tickets cost 24kc each way and you can get them at the the "relay"paper shop opposite the Andel tram stop.Take the No:9 tram outside TESCO to Narodni Trida into town or Andel Metro on ... Read more

The hotel is really nice and clean, the beds are comfortable and big. The food is also good. The hotel is in a very good location and is very well connected with the city center via tram or the metro... Both will get you there in about ten minutes. The only improvement that could be made is with the wifi coverage in the rooms. It is very sporadic and drops off frequently. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

We had very good experience with hotel location. It was easy to reach by car. There was free parking on site (not that obvious in Prague). And hotel is located in easy walking distance from all major attractions in Prague. If you are rather not for walking - there is well developed tramway network (we prefered this over underground, because of city views), and tickets are pretty cheap.

Title contents the main - it is South border of Mala Strana (Andel) but you need 7min underground or tram (stops are 2 min walk) to get Staromeska sq. or Kostel sv. Mikulashe. Most of the rooms have windows on the very noice streets. The rest is excellent - breakfast, room, services, parking.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and although its a bit far (10 mins by bus) from the city its one of the best value for money hotels. One should take a bus to reach the hotel here rather than a train as the bus stop is just at the hotel entrance.

Location: A twenty-five minute walk to the old city center. Located near the mall which features an amazing grocery store. The cafe in the hotel is good as well. The breakfast selection is not limited, and varies slightly each day. Staff are friendly and helpful, free maps are available at reception. Rooms are small but clean. Bathrooms are spacious.
