Room ok - a bit scruffy but clean - like the rest of the hotel. No kettle (took our own), minibar adequate (no spirits, but plenty of shops very close open all hours). Bathroom fine. Heating good, but tended to make the room stuffy. Only English TV was BBC World News. No lounge area to speak of, breakfast room ok, as were the breakfasts. No bar or restaurant service (but plenty of choice locally). Staff reasonably helpful. Location excellent - about 10 minutes walk to the head of Wenceslas Squar... Read more

This was our first stop on what was a 3 week family vacation and could not have asked for a better place to stay and staff to make us feel welcome. Our luggage was lost by the airlines and the manager made it his mission to make sure it was recovered and did not interfere with his guests happiness. We arrived late morning to Prague and our belongings were there that night.

This hotel was in a great location and In walkable distance to all of the main attractions. The beds were really comfy and the room was nice. Only complaint is the bathroom had a horrible sewer smell that we noticed as soon as we arrived. We didn't bother complaining as we thought it might pass but it never did. The shower was great and the continental breakfast was nice. The main guy on reception could of been a bit more welcoming - it seemed impossible to get a smile out of him but every thin... Read more

Location of this hotel is good due to very close to shops & transport. not happy with noise outside every few mins you hear police sirens as its next to police station. Lock on door was not very good, room was not clean. staff were not very helpful. prague itself is so nice cheap food & booze all good but hotel stay was not great.

We visited prague for 4 days and stayed at this very pleasant old hotel. There were no frills it was simply a clean and very comfortable hotel within easy reach of the centre of the city. Reception staff were pleasant and always willing to provide help where possible. The rooms whist smallish were very clean and had all that was required for our short stay with the exception of tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast provided was buffet style. There was a fair variety of food which I would ... Read more

We visited Prague for 6 days and stayed in this hotel. The location was perfect and in close proximity to everything. The staff of the hotel was very helpful, breakfast was delicious. The only negative experience was the fact that the room was not renovated probably for a long time. Walls were somewhat dirty, the towels and the sheets were very clean but the bed was very uncomfortable. AC was not working either. However, we were so tired after hours of walking that these issues did not concern ... Read more

The hotel was clean and conveniently situated. I went for 3 nts city break and for me it was perfectly fine. Staff were helpful and friendly especially Alberto, the young Italian guy who is always happy to help you. When I arrived I was put in ROOM 503 and immediately asked to change. It was the attic, so unhealthy as of course no windows to open and stiflingly hot air. Awful. I had to spend one night in there but that was enough and next day they changed it without any problem. Fridge and saf... Read more

* Stinky. My place had a stench coming from god knows where. :( * the place is general is super run down, my toilet seat looked like it was from the Soviet times. * No parking except on the street. Nearby Brexen hotel has nice parking though. * No air conditioning. * Fridge in the room was broken while we were there.

Listen, for the money paid for this hotel I wasn't expecting much; I stayed with 2 other lads for a pals holiday. This hotel was in an ideal location (be warned its opposite a Gentlemans club) but it's off the Main Street and the club isn't very rowdy outside so don't let it put you off. Rooms cleaned every day, bathroom ideal , basic but everything you needed. I will say this though, I was too hammered to care as I passed out every night but the hotel is situated on a very busy and loud road e... Read more

First of all I'd like to say hello to everybody who read it and say sorry for my English (it's not my native language). Well, I've put my marks to hotel relatively to its stars and price, I never expect 5 stars service from ordinary hotels. I was living in a room 401 where window was oriented to quiet place. All necessary facilities were at the room including safe, minibar, bathtub and hairdryer. The only one negative issue was I could control only temperature for air-conditioner, not on/off. Th... This is a decent hotel in Prague; a walkable distance from all the sights but right next to a variety of useful trams and the I P Pavlova metro. We bought a 3 day pass for about £10 and used the trams, metro and funicular with ease. Such an easy city to travel in. The hotel itself is clean and has a lift (nervous people may not be too happy when the lift occasionally stutters before opening on some floors). Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and had sufficient storage space for a few days. ... Read more

We travelled to Tivoli in March this year and thought it was a great bargain. At £30 a night including breakfast we couldn't have asked for a better budget hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean - perfect for laying your head down after a day of sightseeing. We walked everywhere as the hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from the Wenceslas Square and 15 from the old town square if that. We weren't slap bang in the middle but it was worth it for the price we paid and how close we were an... Read more

This review would be quite different if it was based on the first room we were given, it was a windowless room in the attic ( 5th floor) you could have baked bread in it it was so hot. a brief discussion with the front desk resulted in being given room 306... so this is a review of room 306, a lovely, airy room over looking a quiet courtyard, a different world from the main street out front.. an oasis of calm. Great staff, good breakfast, good location ( just jump on tram 22 and you are in the a... Read more

Spent a few days in Prague with my wife and stayed at the Tivoli. Its a small boutique hotel about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town. Rooms OK but no aircon and quite a few mosquito kills on the bedroom walls. General cleanliness was fine otherwise and a good maid service. The hotel advertises that it has a downstairs bar facility - it certainly does not. Rooms have safes. Our room overlooked a very busy road. Staff friendly - good English spoken. Breakfasts are fine with the usual fare eg che... Read more

This is meantime to be one of the oldest hotels in Prague , about 15 min from Wenceslas sq. Or you can get the metro just round the corner from I.V Pavlova stop . The hotel was clean , rooms were nice , with tv and minibar . The only thing is there is a fire station virtually right next door and they seemed to get called out about five times a night with sirens on . Have a room facing the courtyard . Breakfast was nice eggs bacon etc or cold breakfast if you wanted it . Staff were very friendly ... Read more
