Booked via Booking.Com at a good rate for a Sunday night in January. Chosen for location near relatives but well-placed 'behind' the National Museum and only a ten minute walk or so from the start of the main visitor parts of the city. Very helpful reception staff. Super-clean, well-furnished comfortable room. A modestly-stocked minibar but no kettle for Brits! Do not believe the 4* rating matches a British 4* hotel There is no ground floor lounge area or coffee shop and the reception whic... Read more

For the price they are asking they give a lot. Great location. Nice breakfast. Very clean. Friendly staff. Hotel building by itself has special spirit in it, check online pictures out. It is very easy to get there from the airport using A link.

Nice place at first feeling: 3*** .But I must say that hotel is looking good. Architecture nice and very pleasant rooms. Huge balcony with view inside block. Bathroom with daylight is nice surprise. They have very communicative staff on reception. Breakfast excelent. And parking is adventure. By walk 10 minute and you are in town square St. Václav.

I was on a 3 weeks holiday with a friend of mine in Eastern Europe. Price - Rating: 4/5. This is a very classic hotel. If you are visiting Prague, please stay in this type of hotel. The price is satisfactory and reasonable for me. Friendliness of staff - Rating: 4/5. Frontdesk was very helpful. I need a jar of hot water on a daily basis since the room does not provide kettle in the room. The reception helped to boil the water and transfer it to a jar. Cleanliness - Rating: 5/5. The hotel an... Read more

Stayed a long weekend with 3 friends. This wasn't our first choice hotel so we were a little worried until we arrived. We had booked taxi transfer from the airport and our driver, George, was waiting. A very pleasant half hour journey and we arrived at Arkada Hotel. Hotel was super clean and staff very helpful. As mentioned in other reviews, the photos on hotel website are exactly the same as the rooms - No surprises like you sometimes find. Very impressed with WiFi, which was free and conn... Read more

We stayed in this hotel 1 night. The rooms are massive with a nice bathroom also. The room was quite warm because there was no air con but this was such good value for us we can't complain. The reception staff were so helpful ( they allowed us to check in at noon.. 2 hours early) which was amazing. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as the selection was poor. However we enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

I chose this hotel because of its location in the Vinohrady. It is a 15 min walk to old town and 5 min to an underground stop. It was safe, clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast includes a large spread with local favorites. The staff are not very friendly but certainly capable. A good choice for solo travelers.

The location is nice, you can walk almost anywhere in the city from the hotel. Our room looked nice when we checked in. But daily cleaning routine was not so impressive. Towels and everything in the bathroom was changed every day, even if it didn't need changing, but glasses that we drank from one night remained dirty on the table. It didn't sees like dusting was done prorerly every time either. Had to laugh about the hight the shower was mounted. It was impossible to lift it so much higher, be... Read more

For the very reasonable price that we paid, we had a clean and comfortable family room for two adults and two girls for four nights. Being on the top floor, the room was spacious, well ventilated and quite well equipped; with most things that we needed except an electric kettle which we had to borrow from the reception staff for hot water. The room was well kept and comfortable, and the housekeeper did an excellent job of cleaning. The staff service was very good, being polite and helpful. T... Read more

Personal are very helpful. Very quiet location. Only 10 mn on foot from the green line metro. Bookings done through the hotel guarantee to pick you up and bring you back. Many nice affordable restaurants near the hotel. Spotless and substantial self service breakfast . Will return.

Nice rooms, quiet location, near railway station, near metro station, near Václavské nám?stí, friendly receptionists, good breakfast (cakes can be improved). Only a note: i asked the room maid not to change towel every day, however, they decided to change them but... the last one they gave me was really old old old ..used used used... towel... with no seam on an edge... :)

The location is a quiet area but a fifteen minute walk to most of central city. There is a tram stop two blocks away that will take you to the castle. The staff have all been very helpful and if they didn't know the answer, they made a call to try to get you an answer for you. Breakfast has lots of choices for different tastes. The rooms are bigger than most in Europe and well furnished. I was very surprised with what I got for what I paid; truly a great deal.

This hotel is close to the Narodni Muzeum and Wenceslas square. You can walk to the city center. The Metro Station is nearby and you can walk 5 minutes to the ??Nám?stí Míru?? stop and take the famous Tram 22 which runs Prague's most scenic routes. The staff is nice and helpful, especially Igor and Victoria. On very short notice Victoria helped me book the tour to Karlovy Vary and was a great experience. The Wi-Fi was very good and the breakfast was decent. The room was big, clean and ... Read more

Location: Central, in a clean and calm area, away from tourists. Surrounded by lokal pubs, restaurants and shopping, where prices are reasonable. Public transportations: 5 minute walk to both tram and subway stations. One may reach any interesting locations around the city in less than 20 minutes. Price: Very well worth the price! Staff: Straight forward in a kind and helpful way. Service minded where most "problems" may be dealt with. The room: Rather big and clean, decorated in a tast... Read more
