The hotel is very nice with helpful staff, good internet and comfy beds. BUT...... It's about a 20 minute walk to the Charles Bridge. So, if you need to get your 10,000 steps in, this is a great location. Of course, there is a subway station directly across from the hotel if you want to shorten your commute. There is a supermarket across the street and a good place to get breakfast called Cocoa. The Palladium mall is just around the corner and the main shopping boulevard is on the way to Old Tow... Stayed here for 4days and 3nights last May 28-31,2016. Bed was comfortable. Has free wifi in all rooms. What I like about the hotel is its location as it is walking distance to shopping areas like the Palladium and other malls, it is also walking distance to Billa, a supermarket where u can buy a lot of items. It is also walking distance to the old town square, astronomical clock, and a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops. And If u like to walk, u can walk to charles bridge from the hotel.

Its location is the big plus--very close to the tourist spots but nicely set apart from the crowds. For other needs, there's a supermarket across the street and a mall a minute away. The hotel lobby and main restaurant look old, but the rooms on the 8th floor have been renovated. No one helped us bring our bags to our room, but otherwise the staff was friendly. The barefoot kids running around what should have been a quiet EXECUTIVE lounge were a major turn-off.

This is one of my favourite Hilton hotels. The zinc restaurant is excellent.. the breakfast is outstanding, catering for most tastes. The entrance to the hotel is lovely, and the staff are beyond helpful. The executive lounge at this hotel has an excellent selection of very drinkable wines and serves a nice little hot buffet.

The only thing good about the Hotel is probably its location. Its walking distance to a mall and approx. 10 min walk to the Old town square. This did not feel like a Hilton property. Most of the staff members were rude. The rooms are small, smelly and in some rooms the leather of the furniture is torn. We had to change our room twice due to these reasons. The location was great for walking anywhere in Old Town and for access to trams for anywhere else in the city. Our room was quiet so we slept well in the comfortable bed. AC kept the room at a constant temperature throughout the night. We did not have a view. The room and bathroom were adequately spacious. If your plans, like mine were, are not to venture too far from the Old City of Prague then this is an excellent location. It's about a twenty minute walk from the Charles Bridge and just a little farther beyond is the castle hill with St. Vitus Cathedral and Lobkowicz Palace. Not too far from there is the Carmelite Church with the original statue of the Infant of Prague. There are a number of restaurants, a grocery store, and a shopping center are very close. Our room was okay, but rather run down. Ugly view. It seems better is available for less money. Breakfast buffet is just okay. We did ask for bathrobes in the room, and they brought them. Internet access is only free for Hilton Honors members, although we got it free I dislike it when hotels do that. People seem to say they stayed for the location, be we walked past many hotels going where we wanted to be. There is a nice street market nearby.

We had a room overlooking the river and could walk to everything in the old city. The hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly and the food was very good. Our room was comfortable, the king size bed too. One of our favorite places we have stayed.

We really loved the location of the hotel, close to pubs and restaurants, shopping centers but most importantly , the old city. The staff is really friendly and helpful and a lot of activity going on. Comfortable rooms and bath. Great stay.

Stayed here for business and room is comfortable and was good for working and relaxation at the same time. Hotel is positioned perfectly and within walking distance of the site seeing areas and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous and offering many choices, but strangely enough regular boiled eggs were missing. Also it took some effort to find healthy alternatives to all the fried and baked goodies. Little details however can be improved. When having finished all the tea bags in the room t... Read more

There cannot be a better place to stay in Prague than the Hilton Prague Old Town! Situated closest to the old town square and right opposite a super market, we couldn't have asked for more! What I also found extremely appealing was the pleasant and friendly demeanour of the staff at the hotel. We were on a East & Central Europe tour and can say with all authority that the hotel and the location was a perfect ending to our outstanding holiday! Extremely welcoming and relaxing rooms and great food... Read more

This hotel is on an excellent location to visit old Prague. There is a metro station on the corner and a wonderful Czech restaurant across the street. The room was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a little expensive at $20. Per person per day. We chose to go to local cafes instead.

My recent stay at this property was very enjoyable. As a Hilton Honors Gold member I was given complimentary room upgrade as well as admission to the hotel‚??s executive lounge on the 8th floor. Shortly after checking in, I was pleasantly surprised by a knock on the door with a complimentary offering from the management consisting of a plate of fruit, nuts, and a large bottle of water. I was given a corner room that overlooked the nice view of the intersection of V Celnici and Havliń?kova Stre... Read more

The hotel location is excellent. Service is above average. Mainly a tour hotel. Breakfasts are very good. Room large and comfortable. Some restaurants near by but better restaurants in Old City. Open air food market with large variety of already prepared food a short walk.

Stayed here for a night, and got upgraded to an executive suite on the 9th floor, very spacious and well appointed. Complimentary water, peanuts, a bowl of fruit and 3 small deserts waiting for me too. Went into the Executive lounge for cocktail hour, but it very quickly got very busy, and spoiled slightly by 3 teenagers drinking sodas and generally acting like teenagers. Had breakfast in there too, which was OK, decent selection, and courteous staff. All in all, a good Hilton, well located ... Read more

Here on a congress, but super-friendly staff, decent food and nice clean rooms. You can walk into the city centre in 15 mins and there's lots to see and do in the city. Hotel desk staff very friendly with excellent English. Only negative, the shower in room disappointing. Good swimming pool.

The location was good, but the hotel was sub-standard with old poorly kept rooms. The carpet was stained and worn out. The furniture was old and chipped. The bathroom was small and sink was dirty and scratched ( see photos). It was a horrible stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lobby was small and always busy and noisy. The staff at the reception were sarcastic, rude and had bad attitude. They were basically overwhelmed. This is a poorly run place. I got food poisoning... Read more

The location is good, very close to the city center. The staff is very nice, and the hotel is a standard business hotel. The room was clean, but a bit cold considering outside was a bit chilly; the bathroom was big and cleaned too, the bed was comfortable and there were lot of pillows. Overall, was fine but I think it was missing of some attention to details. there was a kettle but I had to pay for the complimentary water. Also, for instance, I have ordered in-room dinner, the menu does not have... Read more

Took the opportunity to upgrade to an Executive Room which well worth it as the room was a good size, recently refurbished and with access to the Executive Lounge. Although not a room with a view it was comfortable, on a quiet floor and we had a really pleasant stay. The upgrade entitles you to wifi through the hotel (usually an extra cost) and snacks and drinks at various times in the Executive lounge plus somewhere quiet to sit and/or work. Breakfast can be taken in the lounge or main dining ... Read more

The Hilton Prague Old Town was an easy walk from the center of Prague. It is a long walk from the river and an even longer walk from the castle. The rooms are fine, the service is good, and the breakfast was extensive. I joined the HHonors program in order to get the good free wifi. There are good places to eat close by, and a small market is only half a block away.

I know they are not the only outfit in the world to do this but my overriding memory of staying in this hotel was being asked to spend about e15 for the privilege of a wifi connection in my expensive room. It's free in the lobby for folk who wander in off the street, and it's free in any bar or restaurant whether you spend money or not. But if you fork out E150 to step inside one of the Hilton rooms then the privilege is withdrawn. It is an absolute bloody disgrace, needless to say I demanded a... Read more

Stayed here for the first time on business, checked in easily by very polite staff and was given a room on the 9th floor with Exec room access (as I am a Gold member). The lobby and decor is very nice, looks quite newly refreshed and all of the corridors also look new. My room was not huge, but had a King size bed, sliding wardrobe with safe etc, mini bar, on the table in the room was a selection of fruit and some water for me. I reserved an Executive King room. The executive lounge is located on the 8th floor of the hotel, and although my room was on the 7th floor, there was no problem in using the elevator to get to the lounge. The staff members in the lounge go out of their way to help you, as do the staff in the entire hotel. The lounge is small, but comfortable. Hilton Old Town Prague has the best staff of any Hilton I have stayed at. They have superior customer service. The location is excellent as well as it is an easy walk to city center, old town, shopping and has a metro stop on their lower level. They have a big Fitness Center with 4 treadmills, ellipticals, bike, nice dumbell rack, stretching area, and machine selection. It also has a nice lobby bar and breakfast room. We'll go back.

Located 100m or so from Namesti Republica (Republic Square) on the edge of the Old Town, and with a metro station right outside, this is a great location from which to explore the beautiful city of Prague. The hotel it self is up to usual Hilton standards and the staff were particularly good.

My partner and I stayed at the Hilton between Friday and Monday. Excellent location just a five minute walk to the old town square. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great - special mention to the Prague ham it was delicious. Our room was 435 which was facing the road and completely silent at night, the only slight fault was the sink which was worn out other than that room great with good shower and large comfortable bed. I stayed for three nights last weekend. The hotel is a good base for the main tourist spots. It is a 5-10 min pleasant walk to the old town square. The hotel was clean and tidy, the room was pleasant(no view). All of the staff were polite and efficient. The pool and sauna are small, but we mostly had them to ourselves. The bar is a pleasant place to have a nightcap. We only ate breakfast here, there was the usual selection for each countries tastes. The cooked breakfast items were warm not hot,... Read more
