Stayed here for four nights. The staff seemed very stand-offish. They responded to requests, but not always in a friendly manner. We had two keycards, but one didn't work, and after being unable to get into the hotel (needs a keycard if receptionist is busy) for a few minutes, the staff let me in before telling me off for swiping my card wrong. It took awhile for me to convince them it wasn't working, and they finally believed me after I went upstairs and found out it didn't work in the room doo... Read more

My suggestion is to mail them when you book it and ask for a room on the last floor and you won't miss ! Which we did !The room was huge so was the bathroom! The bathroom had shower , hairdryer and everything and was shinny clean but what I liked the most was that they had big windows on the ceiling and you could see the stars by night! The room was also very quiet and the bed very comfortable! The bad thing was the TV which was very small and only had local channels nothing in English. Plus th... Read more

For the price the location is great. Three stops on the tram to Wenceslas Square. The breakfast was also very good for the price. The things that let the hotel down are the attitude of the reception staff and the poor housekeeping. The receptionist found everything too much trouble and had no hesitation in making this obvious. One girl in particular never smiles and seems to know nothing about the area or how to get from the hotel to any of the major sites. i.e. Prague Castle, she had to l... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel itself is located only a short (uphill) walk from the main train station. The rooms are adequately furnished for a hotel of its category and the bathrooms seem to have been newly renovated. The TV didn't work properly, but that wasn't really a problem, as we didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms anyways. The breakfast was quite nice with a good selection of warm and cold dishes. There is only free wifi available in the lobby, in the rooms wifi i... Read more

Great hotel, excellent location on busy Main Street. Halfway between 2 Tram stops, on a hill. If you're inclined to be on the lazy side you can board at the downhill stop and get off on the uphill stop (purely for the benefit of other idiot reviewers!) Staff at the hotel were always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with huge, lovely bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, and when my wife asked for an extra pillow, it was on the bed in the morning. Most if not all o... Read more

The hotel is very basic but extremely clean, the walk into Prague centre is about 15 to 20 minutes. Need good walking shoes it has a restaurant but also just outside the main entrance there is a bar where you can sit outside if you wish and have a meal, coffee, drink etc. which was quite advantageous as the room didn't have a balcony.

Hotel was clean and fairly handy for city centre. A few pubs and bars round about. Hotel was on a hilll but tram system was very good and only a short walk from hotel . Breakfast was continental and tables cleared quickly and serving staff very pleasant. We had a problem with the electrics and reception were not very helpful. The two dark haired ladies on reception were very polite and helpful but the two blonde haired ones were rude, ignorant and so unhelpful. A course on customer service would... Read more

Clean room and bathroom. Value for money. The bar was excellent. The only disadvantage is in summer it gets hot and if you open the window at night you could hear noise all night. In general helpful staff. Wifi does not work in the room. You have to come to reception to get wifi. Bus station is near by. Would visit again given a chance !

Room was a double. Good size. Windows opened to let in breeze. Breakfast included as much as you wanted. Staff friendly. Hotel clean, quiet. Near local shops, restaurants. Train station 10 mins, downtown by tram, cheap, 15 mins max. Had to pay for wifi, but not expensive.

This hotel is fine. The room was a good size and had what we needed. It's too hot as there is no AC and very noisy with the windows open. We got new towels everyday but the bin wasn't emptied and sheets not changed. The staff vary from the very helpful to the rude and abrupt! Breakfast is limited but edible and we used it every day. They have a left luggage room which was helpful for our last day. The plus point is the location. Perfect location! Minutes walks to 2 tram stops which take you to t... Read more

We arrived at the hotel to early for check in however they stored our bags for us which enabled us to go out for the day. Check in was simple and quick. The rooms are very clean and decorated quite modern. The bathroom looks to be newly decorated as well. The location of the hotel I thought was very good, it isn't in the centre but the tram is very convenient to get around. The stop is just down the road about 4-5 minute walk. You can get on the 5 or 26 which will take you Into the old town or t... Read more

We want's to have a Getaway in Prague for five days, an especially Hotel Victoria was a cheap priced hotel, so we did't expect luxury. The upsides: - The rooms was very species and the toilet was so big, you could make your own party with space for another living room. - The hotel is near old-town (1,5 km) witch i normally overpriced, so many times we walked home from the city and visits the bars along. - Beds was soft and good. - Breakfast was included, and okay variety in Czech standards. Booked through lastminute.com. Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable and everything as you'd expect for a low prices city break. Small amount of concussion upon arrival with our booking - single room instead of double but quickly resolved. Breakfast included which was a delight.. A little noisy from the trams passing but that's not the hotels fault. We would gladly return...

As the title suggests, this is not a fancy hotel by any means but it's adequate and you get what you pay for. I arrived at the hotel just after 2pm and two other tourists were checking in before me. The solitary receptionist was friendly and I found it quite amusing listening to her advise the two ladies to purchase tours of the city from the hotel and also to change their money there. Her 'helpful' advice told me to do the exact opposite as I had a sudden vision of the young receptionist wear... Read more

We only paid 120 euro for 2 nichts incl breakfast. There is a tramstop in 200 metres which brings you directly to the heart of prague in 3 stops. De room was clean but a bit 'older' so you could see some usage marks. the reception was really friendly. De breakfast was basic but clean and good quality. downside: it is close to the metro line, so you hear the metro during the night as well as passersby. We were able to sleep with the windows closed, however in summer with the windows open, it migh... Read more

Very very basic hotel.the kitchen staff were incredibly miserable and ignorant.the breakfast was very meager.loved prague but I would definitely not go back here.the tram runs alongside the building and depending on your room it is quite loud especially as the trams run all night.all in all you get what you pay for,but the stuff lacked customer care to say the least

This hotel is great value for money. Clean, with good breakfast to start your day and in close proximity to train station and approx 15min walk to old city. The area has variety of eating places which are more reasonable compared to restaurants in the city centre. It's definitely worth exploring too. The train station is 10min walk so very convenient. The hotel is between two tram stops so easy to get anywhere in Prague. Overall pleasant stay. The only negative comment the wi fi is not free whic... Read more

I stayed in Victoria Hotel last week of july, booked by my travel agency. The hotel is modern and well furnished but cleaning is not so perfect about dust on surfaces and expecially over the lamp above the bed. My room was on the third floor with a nice view. Breakfast is superb with cakes, eggs, ham ecc. we used to have a very good meal every morning. Staff is helpfull and check-in was made quickly. Internet wi-fi and safe use require an extra charge

Stayed here in October 2016 for a Dance festival weekend. Nice facilities (basic but good value) and friendly staff made for a lovely stay. In a location that is only around 20 minute walk to the city centre, that has some lovely (and cheap!) restaurants and bars surrounding it. Recommended!

I have stayed in many 3 star Prague hotels and they are never up to the standard of western European hotels and this is no exception. The mattresses on the beds are so thin you may as well sleep on the floor and breakfast is fairly poor but you can find something to eat if you look hard enough and the coffee is only just drinkable. However I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Victoria. As I was a solo traveler and booked a twin room I put both mattresses on top of each other and had 7 nights c... Read more

The Victoria hotel is great value. We had a friendly welcome and our second floor room was clean and an ok size. TV and minibar, also safe in room for a fee and internet costs extra too but at around £20 for room and breakfast for two it's a good deal. Breakfast is fine with ham, cheese, rolls, cereals and scrambled egg and sausage - and nice buns. A bit of noise from trams but not so bad if you are higher up. Hotel has a lift and staff were nice. Good location too, only a few stops into tow... Read more
