From our arrival and meeting Milan until our departure I can only say wonderful things about Domus Balthasar. A beautiful room (3) with such a comortable bed and so much space it made for a perfect 3 night stay. The location is also perfect with being so close to the Charles Bridge and just a couple of minutes further to the old town square also. The hotel which is on the Mala Strana side of the city which is close to Prague Castle and it has some lovely bars and places to eat close so in our mi... Read more

We had an amazing time in Prague and staying at the Domus Balthasar Design Hotel was a big reason for this. The welcome we received upon our arrival was warm, we were given all the information we needed and any time we had a question the staff were more than happy to assist. The room was beautiful with a great view of Charles Bridge, a comfortable bed, high ceilings and a large en suite with separate bath and shower. There was tea/coffee making facilities. The room was squeaky clean, warm and co... Read more

The hotel is in one of the most beautiful and useful location in Prague. A Wonderful historic building just at the end of one of the most beautiful bridge in the world. Obviously the historic buildings have some limits as, for example, the elevator missing. But of you are not so old it cannot be a problem...you will be refound by the beauty!

If you wish to stay in Mala Strana next to Charles Bridge and you are not scared by the amount of tourists as you enter your hotel, this is a charming place. Our bedroom was on the third floor (no elevator, not a problem for us but I prefer to provide the information) and was very nice with a large bathroom. Moreover, it was surprisingly silent considering the amount of tourists in the street. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is not provided but you do not run any risk of s... Luxurious, spacious room/suite with large comfortable bed. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Everything was clean, service impeccable and the price reasonable. Would be 5 stars except that internet service/wifi did not work for the four days we were there. However, this was partially solved by connecting to the adjacent Bohemian bagle shop wifi with some connectability on the first floor. The floors above, though, had no connection.

We stayed here during the Christmas Markets in December 2015 and it was great. Very clean, comfortable and warm. The staff were great too. There is a little adjoining the hotel where the do breakfast too. Loved it and want to go back again.

The location is fabulous - right at the Charles Bridge! We were on the top/4th floor which I don't really recommend because there's no elevator and the stairs are steep and dragging your luggage up them is not fun. But the room was quite nice - spacious and it had nice character with the slanted roof (the top floor rooms are also not for tall people) and windows you could open. We were able to borrow DVDs from the front desk (there were only a few in English though) and they also have guide book... Read more

This is definitively one of the top locations to stay in Prague. if you leave the hotel, turn right and walk about 150 meters, then you are right on Charles Bridge. The hotel itself is in a historic building, having that very special romantic atmosphere of such places. Unavoidably, this comes with some minor trade offs like the lack of a lift. Nevertheless, the always friendly and helpful service is more than a compensation for this. When reading the other ratings, every now and then someo... Read more

We stayed at the Deluxe room on 1/F last week. It's spacious, clean, beautiful with high ceiling. The front desk lady was very nice and kind, she provided us with some useful information :) The location was good and very convenient! Too bad that we couldn't extend our stay in this hotel as it has already fully booked for the next few days. We then stayed at Bishop's house which is 200m away. Tbh, I'd prefer this hotel for a much larger room, nicer staff and even at a lower price. Its worth to pa... Read more

We spent three nights here with my partner when visiting Prague this spring. Just a few steps from Charles's Bridge, it is a perfect walking distance location for almost all Prague's 'jewels'. The entrance in a form of a big town house gate doesn't really suggest there is a 'hotel' here and even when you get inside, you don't feel it's too special but what really makes it stand out are the spacious rooms filled with light coming from the outside through those huge townhouse windows. Our room was... Read more
