If you're looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the city centre look no further. The room was spacious and well-equipped - far exceeding our expectations. Breakfast is available from 07.30 to 10.30 - a blessing when you need an early start (or a lie-in) and although you'll not get a full-English, there's enough variety to satisfy most people. Complaints on here regarding over-heating and noise from the street might be specific to part... Read more

A beautiful, traditional hotel just a stones throw from Charles Bridge and very close to all other attractions. Room was large, comfortable and despite other reviews was very quiet. After returning from a day out it was fantastic to return to our warm and cosy room. The room was well equipped and complete with lovely toiletries and plenty of towels. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with plenty of choice of cereals, fruit, hot options and full continental in an all you can eat buffet. Can't wa... Read more

Great location, good view of the river but a few down sides.... riverside view room means your window will face the biggest night club in Prague. The hotel was very hot through out and had a slow reception. Breakfast was average at best especially for a four star hotel. Location was obviously great and can't complain about the price but for some reason was expecting a little more.

This hotel was a great value with a prime location and literally beside the bridge. The location is the reason I give this hotel a 4 star. The accommodations are spacious, yet only average in comfort and amenities. The breakfast really fell below our expectations due to the food variety/lack of freshness, poor layout creating food line traffic jams, and cold air blowing out of dining area vents in January. I'd stay here again merely for the value and proximity to travel sights.

With a wonderful location right next to Charles Bridge the Palace is a great base for exploring central Prague. When we arrived it took almost 40 minutes for front desk to check us in, which included 20 minutes to check in the person in front of us. There was only one computer for this to be done so in busier times make sure you keep this in mind. Concierge was incredibly polite and helpful and did not hesitate to help us with our mountain of luggage. Our room was very spacious but had not been... Read more

The hotel is in a really great location, which is why I chose it. But I was extremely disappointed when I entered my room, all three windows in the room faced onto a walkway in the middle of the building. As a single woman traveling alone, this was concerning, especially since the room was so warm that I needed to sleep with the window open: I did not sleep well because I was extremely paranoid about someone coming into my room. I was also disappointing that I had no view of the outside world, ... Read more

This hotel is in a great location just 1 1/2 blocks to the charles bridge and about 4 blocks to the old town square. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Our room on the 3rd floor facing the back was quiet, but had no view. However, we heard other people complaining of noise who faced the front. There is a night club across the street that plays loud music. The staff was not overly friendly, not rude though. The breakfast was decent. If it had not been included in the room p... Read more

After reading the reviews on this I thought I must be on the wrong page, then saw a review which someone had left and had stayed in exactly the same room as we did. 111, if you get it when checking in, ask for another room. this must be the worst room in the hotel. When we arrived, the room was so stifling hot, we had to open the windows. Unfortunately, this was directly out to the 'smoking' area, and lingering smoke would waft into the room. The room itself, although tidy, was unusually small.... Read more

We booked this hotel through Expedia and our room had 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The best part of the stay was the beautiful breakfast with so much to offer. We will come back again in the future.

This is in a good spot for Prague's old town and the Castle. We were in Prague in winter, which meant the beautiful city was only overrun with tourists, rather than choked. Swarms of tourists, which took the edge off it for us. The only problem we had at the hotel was the smell of cigarette smoke in the halls, and that concierge staff are overworked because there's only one person at the desk, even at peak times. Expect a wait.
