I loved this hotel. The location is excellent, a five minute walk to the Palladium shopping centre and a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town Square. The breakfast is average and the wifi is extremely slow but these are only minor things. Would definitely stay here again!

We found this little bit of quiet paradise just a 15 minute walk from the Old Town Square and with parking at a nominal rate of 4 euro/day. So quiet in the evening for sleeping but enough beer and food on site to keep us happy. Convenience is the key here with this site along with a reasonable room rate.

Ideally situated, can manage large groups like rugby tours and offers great value for money. Twin beds in cabins with en suite and all cabins have windows. Best on the port side overlooking the river. Clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Highly recommended. Well appointed bar and restaurant on the top deck. Reception manned 24 hrs. Breakfast thrown in.

The location was perfect, the city centre was 10 min walk from the Botel. The accomodation was simple, but comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. The boat have a good bar, from where you can see the sunset and the beautiful view.

We have been here twice now and I have to say in all honesty we've haven't had any bad experiences. The Botel is ideally situated so you can easily walk into the City Centre within 10 minutes and Charles Bridge is at most a 15 minute walk. We found it fairly quiet on both of our visits and had no trouble sleeping at night. If you want 5* then the Botel isn't for you, however if you just want a clean cheap central base from which to explore the sights of Prague without breaking the bank then this... Read more

It was the best choice for a few nights. The botel is situated in the center of the city, near all touristic attractions. The rooms are a little small, but come on...it is a boat! We liked the rooms, in special the river view was very nice. The food was very good, a great variety of cold and hot meals for breakfast. I would recommend this botel for everyone who wants to visit the city. I would surely stay in the same hotel. We were there in December, and even if outside was very cold, in the r... Read more

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the old town square. From then it's easy to find all the other tourist attractions and beautiful buildings. Located in a very quiet area there is no trouble sleeping although passing boat trips will wake you in the morning if you had a late night! The breakfast was simple but plentiful and kept us going till lunch. The only downside was the bed! Very hard! But sheets were clean bathroom was clean with everything you need if your out sightse... Old decor which adds to the character, our room was pretty small but its a botel so it's something different.. View of the water which was nice & there was a male receptionist with a ponytail who was brilliant, very friendly & helpful & nothing was to much trouble, I wish this could have been the same with all the receptionist.. Breakfast ok, it's done the job.. And also our backpacks could be stored all day as we had a train that night..

The food wasn't near great but since it was prepaid we made do. We stayed the some nights and it was okay, the rooms were small the matresses thin. The best thing was how they made the bed in funny shapes everyday, one day they'd turned the blankets into swans.

Been twice to Botel Albatros - don't expect too much comfort here. Breakfast is OK, the rooms are rather clean. The location is great - you can walk into the old town in a few minutes. For quite and peaceful travelling not recommended - if you don't mind it's worth it.

I really enjoyed my stay. I love a boat, so a hotel on the river was great for me. I asked if they had a room available with a view over the river as initially I was given one overlooking a hardstanding area for cars; luckily there was one available. The breakfast was reasonable, though the toaster seemed to only warm the bread not toast it. It was nice to have a drink in the bar area and look out over the river. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars but in the end there weren't many facilities. ... Read more

The hotel is really nice, located within walking distance from the old city. The rooms are small romantic cabins. The bed sheets are made nicely in different shapes every day. Food was ok so overall quite positive experience! I would definitely recommend this place if you dont look for a posh place to stay but a nice cosy and convenient hotel.

We thought staying on a boat shaped hotel would be interesting and different. However, our vacation came to a different point when we saw the room. I could not imagine how people found the space to move around in that tiny room. We had a look at the bathroom. The miniscule shower, dirty tiles and cob webs were enough to dampen our moods further. Wifi limited to the lobby and NO AIR CONDITIONING were the final nails. In 45 minutes we decided to find another place for the next 3 days - which frank... Read more

We visited Prague for the first time and did not exactly know the city. When looking for the hotels we pumped on this one- we made a decision. Since we are quite experienced with the boat trips- we were not surprised about the room size or bathroom. We really liked the sea view and the breakfast and location and everything! Only bad thing that i can point out is one administrator- dark haired lady. So moody, so slow, so silent, thank you-goodbye- you're welcome are not in her vocabulary. But th... Read more

In general the hotel was satisfactory. The bathroom was run down and mold was in the corners. The room was ok, the bed a bit uncomfortable. Maybe a new mattress would do the job. Th elady at reception was grumpy first, but later she was more friendly. Food was ok, breakfast good. Overall a satisfactory place but I would not want to stay there for an extended period

Nice little botel. Nice view water side. Good location not to far out. Small breakfast area couldn't get a seat so never ate. Reception were really rude and couldn't really get any conversation from them. Security were the same. Quite ignorant. Silver fish in the bathroom. All over the shower.

We stayed at botel albatros last week. The room was small as a expected but the shower was minuscule with dirty tiles and webs. No internet connexion in the room or restaurant limited to the lobby. We stayed for three nights and I have to say that the staff in the restaurant were lovely. Very kind and friendly however very disappointed with the rudeness of reception staff.

Rooms are small but quirky. Family run hotel very close to the centre. It's a moored up riverboat - don't expect huge bathrooms. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd certainly recommend staying here, especially at the price!

Was very impressed, expected a lot worse from reading previous reviews. Room though small was clean, great WiFi, tv and hot shower. Breakfast with cold meats, cheese, breads, hot sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurts and fresh fruit. All staff friendly, helpful and it's a great location- walked everywhere. For the price we paid it was a bargain and we got to feed the swans, ducks and seagulls out our bedroom. window!!

i stayed at the Botel Albatros in the summer of 2015 and I must say the staff was so kind, the experience of staying and sleeping on a boat was so different!! The location is perfect and everything was overall excellent!! The breakfast was simple and very European enough to fill you up for the entire stay :)!!

Positives. Good location on the river near the old town and boat trips. Food from the menu was good and cheap. Negatives: The rooms were in desperate need of repair and very run down. The breakfast was amongst the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. Not even a boiled egg was produced, the juice was just coloured water, the place is just generally run down and it seems like stepping back into the 1970's, unfortunately.
