When I visited Praha, I was sure that I would find a great place with a great welcoming people. And this is what I found indeed and I enjoyed my trip including my stay for 2 nights in Best Western hotel which is good located nearby the best sight seeing of the city. The thing which destroyed the beautiful image in my mind took place on the last moment during the checkout when Iva, a receptionist in Best Western, was treating us in a very rude way and refused to listen properly until she recogn... Enjoyed our stay at this hotel overall, although breakfast time was a bit mad. The rooms were modern and beds comfortable. Situated in a quiet area a five minute walk to the river and fifteen minutes to old town square which was wonderful.

I didn't want to spend the big bucks for my other favorite, so booked this wonderful hotel. Right in the old winding streets, walk to the river, a bagel shop, little grocery stores operated by the Vietnamese population. Very helpful front desk and immaculate rooms. Small bar/ restaurant. No amenities of the big hotels, like concierge, but very helpful front desk. Walk to the antique book shop a few blocks away for interesting art/old Czech books. Walk to trams and Charles Square. personel - reception , guards everyone are great and always willing to help . My stay there was dissapointing because of cleaning ladies - first rule is - DO NOT TOUCH personal things . To me it was disturbing - my belongings werent on the floor or anything - they were in my suitcase or on it - and after city tour i come back to see - ALL my clothes folded on the chair - even my underwear. My handbag that i left in my room was on the table - it was properly closed , my personal things put to ano... Read more

Hotel in a good location close to the main attractions and transport links. The staff were friendly and helpful, my room was clean with complimentary tea coffee and best of all a free safe. The continental breakfast buffet was plentiful, but the room did get very busy if you were later than 8, but you could take your food to the garden or lobby bar area if necessary, also the lobby bar served reasonably priced drinks, sandwiches and ice cream when it opened at 12, the lady working the bar was lo... we stayed here for 4 nights recently. The hotel was chosen for its location and previous good rating , and it did not disappoint. The staff were all friendly , and helpful and spoke very good English. The room we requested to be high up after reading you could hear noise from nearby pubs was great , 417 , very clean , modern and spacious.Wifi was free and available with a strong signal, 24hrs. The wardrobe also housed the free safe which was a great addition.Granted previous reviews point out m... Read more

Stayed here and have to say, it was a very nice hotel, friendly staff who were very helpful and spoke very good English. Our room was very clean and spacious, we were on the 4th floor so not nosiy from near by pubs.obly one fault about our rooms was the bed, way to soft! The breakfast was really nice and a fab choice so you won't go without. This hotel was in an excellent location, every thing was all within walking distance. The river was only about 5mins away, Charles bridge was about 10/15min... Read more

Stayed here for a night while in Prague with my family. Room was neat and clean and comfortable. There was not anything over the top to justify a 5/5 but also because the parking garage that the hotel uses is about a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. Very impractical but then again, it is a busy city. Overall, a good stay.

When we booked we assumed that we would have an air conditioned room. You would have thought that any central European hotel especially Best Western would have had this as the norm given the high summer temperatures. Not so. When we enquired it would have cost us another 30 euros per night! The other down side of this hotel was that given we had to have the windows open every night,(room 203 overlooking the street) it did not diminish the really excessive noise until nearly dawn some nights! fro... Like the review previously I had room 203. My double bed was two single beds pushed together with separate duvets. It was near some pubs so I got woken up two of the three nights I stayed by drunk loud people. Don't touch the setting on the hairdryer otherwise it cuts out every minute and a half and don't touch the settings on the shower using it at night to in the morning otherwise you end up with a cold shower. The breakfast was okay.

The hotel is located near the main attractions in the city, as the Old Town Square, shopping areas. As we arrived there, our first breathtaking view was the Podwer Tower which we could see from the hotel entrance. The breakfast was really delicious, with lot of food you could choose from. The room was big and clean, in spite of this the bathroom was the low point.

We booked the hotel for 7 nights coming up September 10th - I cannot wait to stay at your hotel and experience the friendly environment and first class Czech hospitality myself! I stayed here for 3 nights following surgery at a clinic nearby. The room was very hot and muggy - they dont have a/c but we were given a fan to use but I found this very noisy and annoying. Beds are comfortable enough, rooms are clean enough - its a no frills kind of place. Breakfast wasnt the greatest and gets very busy so best to go earlier. Location wise, im not sure how central it is for local attractions but its only a 5 minute walk to the Medicom Clinic.

Some really good bars/restaurants closeby, felt safe at all times when walking around this area and its only 5-10mins walk to the centre. This friendly hotel is very centrally based in Prague. You are easily within walking distance from many of the main attractions, including St wenceslas square. the old town and Prague castle. The hotel itself is based in the new town , just two doors down from the famous 'U Klaku' traditional checz pub and restaurant, a focal point on many of the popular walking tours.

We stayed at hotel Best Western Hotel Pav 7 nights in September. The location is good. The room was quiet and allways good cleaned. The breakfast is good. We found everything we needed. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. This is an average hotel, a little worn and not very cosy. If you come to see Prague and not to stay at hotel all the day, this is the right place for you and that is why we can recommend it.

The staff cleared the tables as soon as they became available so we never waited for a table. . Close to all the sites and walked everywhere. The staff could not be more friendly. Will visit the city again loved it and will stay at this hotel again. If I had to be critical but I'm not the hotel have no control on the people outside the hotel making a noise as they went past

The Best Western Hotel Pav appears a good hotel online but sadly upon arrival is pretty average. The staff are polite but not over helpful and the rooms are basic but clean. The breakfast is a complete nightmare as even off season there are not enough seats and tables for guests and the food offering was poor including cold fried eggs. If you're in Prague go elsewhere.

Just stayed for four nights. We love walking so it was a very good location (New Town) for all sights and very near to trams if you prefer. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also some heating to take the edge off the chill. Would stay here again.

Stayed here once before and it was so convenient I came back again! Rooms are simply decorated but fine, bathrooms are good with a strong shower, location was great - found it an easy walk to the centre of town, with lots of tram connections and the metro very nearby too. Plenty of restaurants and bars too, and a convenience store opposite as well. Great for travellers on a budget. My only negative would be that the lighting in the room wasn't great - they need brighter lightbulbs!
