It was my third time in April of 2016, I take new family members each time. I love the location of Barcelona in Prague. If you are looking for a good hotel. Not the fanciest but a good, clean, nice boutique hotel, stay here. I was sad to see some of the remarks in some reviews, it's never been my experience. Food, service, info, friendliness were all wonderful.

The building was an ancient palace and restorated a couple decades back to become the hotel. Today, everything is brand new and very comfortable in the hotel and in your room (they have made a lot of shopping from IKEA) but toilet and shower section was separate (and this i like very much normally) which they were extremely narrow (and i am not a big guy). Nice lobby and restaurant with delicious menu.

On arrival we were pleased with the hotel's location which is very central without being too busy. We were offered a glass of sparkling wine when checking in; we said a glass of water would be preferable but that was flatly declined so we duly accepted our two thimble-fulls. The room was a little stark in decor and our window overlooked a back laneway, but otherwise it was clean and as expected. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, by far the best element of our experience. There is nothin... Read more

This hotel is quite far from the city center. The room is quite ok, clean but not well decorated. The elevators are too small and has only 2 compared to the guests who are mostly traveling with the group tour. The breakfast doesn't vary with limited options to choose.

just average hotel, but excellent location for sight seeing and going out. little noisy at night but no problem once windows are closed. Breakfast and room service rather boring choices and no service during breakfast at all, not even coffee..

Lovely hotel, great service and nice room (if a little too hot which was quite uncomfortable). Can't beat the location. Breakfast of a good standard. Only negative was that we were charged ?28 for a bottle of water per day (5 nights) which was left on our table. It was not in or near the minibar, however it was a minibar product. Such an extortionate price for what tasted like tap water left a real sour taste for an otherwise great stay. The receptionist did not try to resolve this despite the... Read more

Had a wonderful stay in December, from arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room on the top floor which was excellent and very spacious. There was a mix of old and new with original beams, modern bathroom and fixtures. There was a wide selection of food at breakfast which was very well presented. The location was ideal with only a few minutes walk to the old market square and the Charles Bridge. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The positives: The location is metres from the old town square and powder gate so within walking distance of sights. This does make it a little noisy on some nights (especially when housekeeping leave the window open and it's 0 degrees). The rooms were large with walk in showers and the breakfast choice was good. The negatives: You'll get used to talking to Barbara, Petra etc. On reception (when they bother answering the phone) to report lights not working, floods in bathrooms, fused haird... Read more
