Because of an unplanned lack of accomodation at our arrival to Karlovy Vary,at 23h00 we found this hotel, in the street along the river, lovely place, the staff was nice at this hour ,which was pleasant, a little expensive maybe because of the place, close to a public parking not so expensive, located in the center, it's an average hotel, a good breakfast, little buffet, this hotel also offers a Pizzeria that we didn't try.

Found this hotel at short notice when arrangements had to change and my other Karlovy Vary hotel was booked out. The location is very central with good access to shops, restaurants, the river and pleasant walking. Breakfast was fine, and staf helpful when needed. The room was adequate without being special.

I travelled to Karlovy Vary on the spur of the moment and had to find a room by stopping at hotels until I found one. For a cheap(ish) room for one night with no reservations, it was fine, nicer than a youth hostel. But the place is a little run down, clean, but not cheery. This hotel has seen better days. The Soviet era lift was the highlight of my stay - a tiny lift with no door on the car, I took it just to watch the walls of the shaft go by.

I visited this hotel/restaurant with my wife (both pensioners) on Monday 1st September. We only had drinks but the music and ambience had us believe this would be a good place to finish our wonderful holiday in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. So I allowed the waiter to persuade to book a table ' We will be so very busy' he said. So I did. We duly arrived at 7:30 to be the only guests, 'this can't be true?' I thought. However as it was our last night in Karlovy Vary we hoped to make it special. How... Read more

Our story is almost identical to Richard's. The only thing I have to add is that, in addition to ripping us off, the waiter was pretty rude on several occasions. Here's an example. After waiting for our food for about forty five minutes, I finally asked him, "Excuse me, how much longer do you think the food going to take?" to which his response was something like, "It hasn't been that long. Plus It's not my fault it took you forever to decide what you want". My guess is that he forgot to place o... Read more
