My friend and I, Robert Cole, together with our wives had a 3 week holiday at the Aloe Hotel, arriving back home in the early hours of Thursday,26th May 2016. Again our stay was very enjoyable, probably more so because the Hotel has taken on an Entertainments Organiser. Her name is MELLISSA, and she is a real bundle of energy. Rob and I joined her Aqua Aerobics class held daily at 11.00 am. This was great fun, made more enjoyable by the enthusiasm of MELLISSA.. We appeared to be the only two... Read more

Not much has really changed at the hotel, even some of the staff that were there before are still there. The hotel is a little tired and could do with lick of paint to freshen the place up. I have always defended this hotel in the past but even I??m starting to doubt it. It??s still an affordable option in a good location but it is starting to go downhill now they seem to be selling out to The Russian All Inclusive brigade. We had been in Aloe hotel one week ago. Very good , calm place with cool swimming pool . I liked food, staff and the style of hotel , yes it is a little but vintage but it has its own atmosphere and we enjoyed it . So it is a nice place to go )

After reading other reviews we were a bit apprehensive about the hotel, however, yes, it is in need of refurbishment and the rooms are adequate although walls are quite thin. Good hot shower and comfortable beds. Cannot fault staff anywhere in the hotel -friendly and helpful. Pool area attractive and extensive, no problems with availability of sunbeds in November. Plenty of buffet food available, nothing to compare with as fist time all inclusive. Entertainment reduced no doubt as late in year... Read more

It did feel a little like an Old Peoples' Home, the decor was dated and everything rather worn, corridor carpets were filthy and badly fitted, our ensuite basin plug was jammed (though to be fair we didn't complain). Noise levels were excellent. When we arrived we were assigned to a room with a (locked) door to the adjacent room, unfortunately there were smokers next door so we wheezed all night, but were moved promptly the next day when we made it very clear that this was not acceptable. Two young girls we have been staying in Aloe Hotel for 9 nights this November. Yes, this hotel is more for older people, but it really gave us an oppotunity to relax. Cozy and comfortable, with friendly staff and lots of cats all around :) Our room had an inner yard view, but the room itself was pretty spacious and clean with big balcony. Halfboard option helped us to save money for sight-seeing. Food was quite good, no complaints. Location is great: Sodap beach is right infront, you just n... Read more

We were changed to second floor with a sea view.it was much better, but the stained carpet still retained some unappealing smells! To top i... Read more

The Aloe Hotel in Paphos - we booked this holiday as our usual venue was unavailable we knew the location of the hotel having been to Paphos many times before, we were concerned after booking it when we saw some quite negative reviews but as we had left it quite late we went ahead anyway. Our report and our findings are: This is a very good hotel, immaculately clean, going the extra mile by putting in fresh sweet smelling flowers in the washroom areas, plenty of spacious lounge areas with immacu...
