Been to Cyprus many times and seen this hotel from the beach, have always thought how nice it looks. Was our first time staying here and we weren't disappointed. All staff were very friendly and helpful, they made the stay enjoyable and relaxing. We booked B&B, breakfast selection was fantastic and always plenty of everything. Rooms were always clean and fresh. The pool area is lovely and food and drink readily available and bought to your sunbed. There's a private beach with stunning views. Al... Read more

Fabulous Hotel on the beach but away from the crowds. We have just spent 7 nights here & will come back again. The food was amazing. The staff are fantastic, very friendly & helpful. The walk to the town is 10 minutes away with many places to eat & drink. Our sons were kept very happy & busy. Would highly recommend to all age groups, old & young all enjoy. Check in wasn't much fun. My email confirmation to upgrade to a sea view room was forgotten. Were quickly upgraded to another room but were made to feel we should be most grateful, not that this was the hotels error. Today ordered strawberry daquiri at the pool, my mothers favourite when we stay here, to be given strawberry juice (fruity water), returned them and drink was changed to strawberry daquiri (I watched) but it was still very watery and mostly ice, the liquid was left in the bottom o... We were moved here by Thomas Cook after we refused to stay at the Marlita Beach hotel in Protarus. The food is good, the staff are friendly & the location is stunning! It's very romantic with candles everywhere at night & there's a really calm & relaxed atmosphere. It's a perfect wedding venue with its own little chapel. Nice view with beach access. The pool is quite small given the capacity of the hotel. When considering the star rating and "luxury" a hotel offers one must consider the service. I consider the service at Grecian Sands that of a one or two star hotel so if you are looking for being treated like a 4 star hotel do not come here. The toilet is running in the room. The furnishings are old and dated. When I asked for an iron they told me no and that you have to go down (yourself) to the 3rd floor... Read more

I'll keep this short. You shouldn't think twice about staying here. The staff are AMAZING, rooms are perfect for hanging your hat in the evening, while restaurants not only on site but at sister hotels are as good as anything in town. It's not bang in the middle of the noise but only a 15min walk. A taxi will be reasonable at under 10euro if it's a bit hot to walk. Loved my stay. I'll definitely be back.

We recently stayed at this hotel- all inclusive. Smaller hotel, brilliant position. Right by the beach and within walking distance of Ayia Napa. Good food, not large buffet at dinner as in some hotels but offer choice of visiting other restaurants. Lunch menu large and good. Breakfast offers all you could want. Position over looking sea amazing and rooms good with large balconies. Staff mostly very friendly. All inclusive drinks excellent with international drinks. Stock of drinks in mini bar i... Read more

Great welcome by manager and staff who remembered us from our last visit 7 years ago. Manager was always available and listened to our views on how anything could be improved in the hotel. All staff are outstanding, work hard and are willing to go the extra mile to please their guests. We feel they are our friends and share our lives with them. Our daughter joined us the 2 nd week and she also enjoyed every minute of her holiday. Food is excellent, we love the fact that most nights as well as th... Read more

1. If you have mobility issues this may not be the hotel for you. Looking at the hotel photos you can't tell that there are steep paths to the beach from the hotel grounds. Toilet that I could find were all accessed via stairs. The hotels 'Private Beach' isn't actually a beach its an area of rock which has been covered in sand, not far from the swimming but 50 meters from the sea. 2. Evening entertainment was poor which is why the lounge bar was almost empty with no atmosphere on many occasions... Read more

Visited in November with our baby and it was one of the few hotels still available off season as most of them were closed (as well as most restaurants actually). Unfortunately I didn t find it was worth the price and definitely not a 4 star hotel. First of all, cleaning was disappointing for the first 4 days. Hair on the floor both in the room and in the bathroom. I noticed they have vacuum cleaners in their maintenance room but none of the cleaning staff seem to use them. Bed sheets changed onl... The best features of this place are the location (the beach is great!), the breakfast area, the wonderful balconies, the green areas outside of the hotel, access to a great restaurant near-by, the excellent staff, the great entertainment, and the play area for kids. It was great to be able to swim and sunbathe in Nov! The property definitely needs some investment/to be updated to have a future! At a minimum, the carpets should be removed and replaced with a non-carpet option. The path to the be... Read more
