I came to this hotel from May 28-June 4. We stayed in a king room in the royal tower. Our room was very large! There was a lot of space; a table, a couch, a balcony with a nice garden view, and very large bathroom. It was a very clean hotel, the workers are always cleaning. The service is great. You can order as much food as you want without any issues or complaints. The food is really good; desserts aren't great. The liquor is average quality but does the job. Lots of activities great beach. If u like gambling well this is the place to go. The staff mostly spoke spanish which made it a little difficult but was very friendly. Its a cheap but well worth vacation. The air-conditioned was not functioning properly but who stays inside when there's a lovely beach outside. A swim up bar at your pool side made it ease to get drinks no need to get out of the pool which is excellent. I will definitely be visiting here again

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary from May 14 ‚?? May 21, 2016 at the Sunscape and had a wonderful vacation celebration! We have traveled to several all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and in Riviera Maya, usually trying to select AMResort Properties if possible. Our favorites have been Dreams Punta Cana and NOW Jade in Cancun/Riviera Maya. This was our first stay at a Sunscape and our first trip to Curacao. We were not disappointed! Visited Sunscape for a week in May for a destination wedding of 120 people and had a great time. There plenty of dining options and activities to partake in. We stayed in a deluxe oceanview room which features a very nice balcony, comfortable double bed and amenities such as a safe, kitchenette, TV with cable channels, a large shower with decent pressure and a mini fridge stocked and restocked with water, coke and beer. My husband, my sister and myself had a time of our life. This hotel is exotic, the food is great the employees are super friendly. Service is excellent. The rooms are spotlessly clean, bathroom up to date and clean. The beds are comfortable, clean sheets. The maids are super friendly. I never saw one vex or sad face for the five days we were there. I recommend this hotel to the world.

We went with a larger group for a wedding. Upon arrival almost half of our party (10 out of 26 rooms) were informed they were not available and were given lesser/downgraded rooms. After an unfortunate amount of time arguing to either be refunded the difference or to be moved to the rooms we paid for, we were guaranteed if we stayed the first night in the room we had been given, we would receive our already paid for Sun Club and/or upgraded rooms. I travelled with a good friend for a weeks stay. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was nice and faced the ocean, and the drinks were great! This is definitely a location for someone who wants to RELAX. There was not much to do if you are someone that wanted even a little music, dancing, or even mild partying. In fact, I would say most guests starved for just a little up tempo music‚?¶maybe at a mid day pool party or in the evening. Most activities were catered to kids as I saw they were h... Read more

We were headed to the Sunscape for a wedding. Exciting times, right? When we arrived they couldn't find our reservations, which I don't think was their fault, and they were really nice. The problem was the reservations manager kept telling us over and over again that they would put us in a room, but they are full, which was not the truth. The resort was at most 3/4 full, at most! The front desk staff were very accommodating and our rooms were arranged very quickly. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beach was incredible. It was very calm and relaxing. Water activities were readily available, including kayaking , which was very enjoyable. The beach was ideal for kids. The pools were also ... Read more

Spent 6 nights in a sun club room with ocean view. The room was great and the air conditioner was the best I have ever had at the 10-15 all inclusive resorts I have been too. The beach and pools are great as well. The sun club is definitely worth the money. Private beach area and pool area and most important your own bar. At that bar is the best best best employee on the resort. KENNETH!!!!!!! He made the trip for our whole group and the rest of the people we met. Constantly working hard and k... Read more

Truly paradise on earth. Curacao is pristine, beautiful and should be visited by everyone who wants to experience heaven on earth. Sunscape has surpassed my expectations of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Although the food was a bit repetitive, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and service. I did not visit the Spa but I intend to on my next trip. The casino however, I was fortunate enough to leave a winner. Thank you to the staff and management of Sunscape for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. ... Read more

This was our first girls trip to Curacao. We had a great time! The hotel needs some updates - the rooms and gym mainly. The food was ok, nothing special. The Japanese restaurant was very hot - fans need to be put in. The beach and water are amazing! The bartender's at the Sun Club were fabulous! Kenneth & Rocio were wonderful!! Jonathan, our Concierge, was just as wonderful! They made our trip special and fun! We were taken care of by these 3 for 10 days, they went above & beyond to make sure we... Read more

I fell in love with this place! The food was actually pretty good, drinks were great, and the entertainment team was the best! They really made our stay enjoyable! Leo, Prince T, Candyman, Crazy G, Chocolate, and the others (cant remember at this moment) were funny and full of energy! Cant wait to go back! The only thing is that the hotel needs some fixing and the bathroom floor always got wet when we took showera, which was annoying at one point.

This a great resort, once you get settled. Only one negative: do not get a room in the Tower Building due to unbelievable noise from the nightclub next door; it will pulse and vibrate your walls. Management politely showed us room after room in the tower, claiming that was all they had available, as the music blasted unbelievably from right next door. Finally, they gave us a room in building 8 at the far end of the resort. All the other buildings are fine but if you are interested in sitting ou... Read more

I would like to start-off by saying that I procrastinated writing this review. However, at the same time I am days away from going back to Sunscape. My first visit was in late April/May. Though there are a number of items that will be raised in my review, my family and I are still drawn to this place. The staff is very nice, the management is dedicated to improve, and the island itself is just a place to be. Taking multiple trips a year, I look for a place with good price, good beach, and of co... Check in was nice as we had upgraded to the sun club which gave us a private pool, beach and breakfast area. We were greeted with drinks in an air conditioned room which was nice and then escorted to our room (2101) which was on the first floor of the tower ocean front. The room was decent but the air conditioning was OK. Never really got cold so we just slept with a sheet. For women, bring your own hair conditioner as they do not supply any. The room was located next to all the nightly entertai... Read more

My wife and I had our honeymoon there for 4 nights. The resort is a beautiful place to visit. I will visit again. With everything it has its positives and negatives. The world cafe was lovely, the only problem is we had to wait extremely long for a drink, Alonso cutlery. The food was tasty. There was one lady who was a little rude to us but I take it they were really busy so we just let it slide The other restaurants was perfect no complaints. The staff was really nice. One thing I will say i... Read more

This was our second time to Sunscape. We visited a year ago in August for 7 nights and this time for 9 nights. It still wasn't long enough. This place is wonderful! I have traveled to many islands and have never felt the need to return despite their beauty. I always wanted to see other places in the world. But this place is special. I traveled with my husband and two boys who are 8 and 9. Throughout the year the boys kept insisting that we come back to see their friends. By friends, they meant ... Read more

Overall resort experience for us was so so. The one person that made our trip wonderful was Kenneth at the Sun Club. He was always so happy and such a nice person. He made our week so enjoyable. Most of the others made us feel like we were bothering them when we would ask for a drink. We were truly disappointed in the attitudes of the staff and would not go back for that simple reason.

In summary: I would not recommend anyone to go here, there are so many other great places in the Caribbean that deserve our money and tourism. It is really sad that I have to give this hotel such a bad review and I wish it was different, because there is really a potential and a foundation here, BUT it is not even remotely capitalized upon or managed well at all. The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling is great. The service is non-existent bordering horrible and it seems that most people did ... Read more

Amazing, friendly staff throughout the entire 7 day stay. Great beach, great food (although the wait at times was long for dinner), and great views from the Ocean View rooms. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and a great view. The water is soo blue, almost unreal. We were recommended by friends to visit this place, and upon my arrival back home, I've already recommended this place to all my friends and family. A special thank you to Azaria, Chester, Brian and Xavier.

We were amazed by the beach and the sea of the resort. The buildings are a bit old but overall clean. Restaurants and food acceptable. Prime drinks at the reception bar. Because it is an old construction you are very close to the beach. You can't find this setting in the newer resorts. Our first impression was very bad with a lady in the reception but after we met Xavier the chief concierge all was perfect.

A group of 10 of us just spent a week at Sunscape for a dive trip. The resort was perfect for us. Yes what everyone says about the waitstaff is true. It's slow. Just know that going in...and relax! The buffet always had an excellent selection of food. Most everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful. The resort is clean and nice. Our room was large and comfortable. There always seemed to be some kind of entertainment going on. Ocean Encounters Dive Company is right on the grounds which is ... Read more
