I came to this hotel from May 28-June 4. We stayed in a king room in the royal tower. Our room was very large! There was a lot of space; a table, a couch, a balcony with a nice garden view, and very large bathroom. It was a very clean hotel, the workers are always cleaning. The service is great. You can order as much food as you want without any issues or complaints. The food is really good; desserts aren't great. The liquor is average quality but does the job. Lots of activities great beach. If u like gambling well this is the place to go. The staff mostly spoke spanish which made it a little difficult but was very friendly. Its a cheap but well worth vacation. The air-conditioned was not functioning properly but who stays inside when there's a lovely beach outside. A swim up bar at your pool side made it ease to get drinks no need to get out of the pool which is excellent. I will definitely be visiting here again

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary from May 14 ‚?? May 21, 2016 at the Sunscape and had a wonderful vacation celebration! We have traveled to several all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and in Riviera Maya, usually trying to select AMResort Properties if possible. Our favorites have been Dreams Punta Cana and NOW Jade in Cancun/Riviera Maya. This was our first stay at a Sunscape and our first trip to Curacao. We were not disappointed! Visited Sunscape for a week in May for a destination wedding of 120 people and had a great time. There plenty of dining options and activities to partake in. We stayed in a deluxe oceanview room which features a very nice balcony, comfortable double bed and amenities such as a safe, kitchenette, TV with cable channels, a large shower with decent pressure and a mini fridge stocked and restocked with water, coke and beer. My husband, my sister and myself had a time of our life. This hotel is exotic, the food is great the employees are super friendly. Service is excellent. The rooms are spotlessly clean, bathroom up to date and clean. The beds are comfortable, clean sheets. The maids are super friendly. I never saw one vex or sad face for the five days we were there. I recommend this hotel to the world.

We went with a larger group for a wedding. Upon arrival almost half of our party (10 out of 26 rooms) were informed they were not available and were given lesser/downgraded rooms. After an unfortunate amount of time arguing to either be refunded the difference or to be moved to the rooms we paid for, we were guaranteed if we stayed the first night in the room we had been given, we would receive our already paid for Sun Club and/or upgraded rooms. I travelled with a good friend for a weeks stay. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was nice and faced the ocean, and the drinks were great! This is definitely a location for someone who wants to RELAX. There was not much to do if you are someone that wanted even a little music, dancing, or even mild partying. In fact, I would say most guests starved for just a little up tempo music‚?¶maybe at a mid day pool party or in the evening. Most activities were catered to kids as I saw they were h... Read more

We were headed to the Sunscape for a wedding. Exciting times, right? When we arrived they couldn't find our reservations, which I don't think was their fault, and they were really nice. The problem was the reservations manager kept telling us over and over again that they would put us in a room, but they are full, which was not the truth. The resort was at most 3/4 full, at most! The front desk staff were very accommodating and our rooms were arranged very quickly. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beach was incredible. It was very calm and relaxing. Truly paradise on earth. Curacao is pristine, beautiful and should be visited by everyone who wants to experience heaven on earth. Sunscape has surpassed my expectations of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Although the food was a bit repetitive, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and service. I did not visit the Spa but I intend to on my next trip. The casino however, I was fortunate enough to leave a winner. I fell in love with this place! The food was actually pretty good, drinks were great, and the entertainment team was the best! They really made our stay enjoyable! Leo, Prince T, Candyman, Crazy G, Chocolate, and the others (cant remember at this moment) were funny and full of energy! Cant wait to go back! The only thing is that the hotel needs some fixing and the bathroom floor always got wet when we took showera, which was annoying at one point.

This a great resort, once you get settled. Only one negative: do not get a room in the Tower Building due to unbelievable noise from the nightclub next door; it will pulse and vibrate your walls. Management politely showed us room after room in the tower, claiming that was all they had available, as the music blasted unbelievably from right next door. Finally, they gave us a room in building 8 at the far end of the resort. All the other buildings are fine but if you are interested in sitting ou... Read more

I would like to start-off by saying that I procrastinated writing this review. However, at the same time I am days away from going back to Sunscape. My first visit was in late April/May. Though there are a number of items that will be raised in my review, my family and I are still drawn to this place. The staff is very nice, the management is dedicated to improve, and the island itself is just a place to be. Taking multiple trips a year, I look for a place with good price, good beach, and of co... It is really sad that I have to give this hotel such a bad review and I wish it was different, because there is really a potential and a foundation here, BUT it is not even remotely capitalized upon or managed well at all. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and a great view. The water is soo blue, almost unreal. We were amazed by the beach and the sea of the resort. The buildings are a bit old but overall clean. Restaurants and food acceptable. Prime drinks at the reception bar. Because it is an old construction you are very close to the beach. You can't find this setting in the newer resorts. My three-star rating for this resort is a reflection of it's place in the overall scheme of hotels and resorts with 5 stars being reserved for the best of the best and 1 star for the worst. We have stayed in many middle of the road type resorts across the Caribbean and this on is on par with most of the others. It is a good quality resort and an excellent value as an all-inclusive resort. The Good: Almost all of the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Two ... Read more

Kenneth was an amazing bartender! He was not only right on top of being in the beach to get us our drinks, but also so helpful with all of our other questions - we felt so safe and taken care of! We stayed for a week, 3 couples with no kids and we had the perfect combo of relaxation and activities. Sun Club was totally worth it to me, private beach area, our own concierge, premium drinks.

Recently stayed at the Sunscape Resort and Spa. It's an average all inclusive resort. My room was cute/trendy w/ a great view and walk out pool that lead to the Oceania restaurant. I was very pleased with the room and size. I did not have an upgrade to the SunClub package, not necessary in my opinion. Pros: Loved my room and view!! My husband and I spent 7 days at Sunscape the 1st week of June. If it wasn't for the beach and snorkeling, I would have rated this place a big fat 0! I have stayed at a few AI resorts and this one is mediocre at best. The food was not very good. The best thing to eat is the baguette sandwiches in the deli across from the lobby bar. And that brings me to my next complaint, the bars. All the bars smell like vomit. I heard many patrons say it was because they need to flush out the keg lines. Some ... Read more

My husband and I went to Sunscape Curacao 10/18-25 to celebrate our anniversary. Travel, while a long day due to layovers, was uneventful. We didn't reach the island until around 10pm. We got through the airport fairly quickly that time of night, but had to wait for our bags. By the time we got to our shuttle it was torrential downpours and severe thunder/lightening. Arrival at the resort was a let down and left me a little concerned about upcoming service. No one offered to help us with... Read more

The beach is clear water but very rocky. They don't do dinner reservations, it's first come first serve. sometimes the wait is 2 hrs. Hope this helps.

We went with 2 kids (4 and 2) to this resort last winter. It was our first time in Curacao. Hotel is pretty close to the airport which was convenient (15 minutes drive) The resort itself is very small, which is what we wanted, there are two smaller pools, the beach is clean, protected by a bed of rocks, so its very calm. Before I left I worried it would be too rocky for the kids, but it was fine. There are rocks on the side. The water goes deep pretty quickly so watch your kids. We got an amazin... Read more

The hotel is not too big, 5 restaurants for 300 rooms, very good food when compared to other islands. There is a rock barrier ashore where you can do snorkling. Do not hesitate to go on the other side to see much more fish and corals. Do not hesitate to take the sun club formula for a private pool and beach with ocean view.
