Located 12 km from Dubrovnik. There are several buildings: one is the hotel, the rest are villas. The hotel is a 3*** that would be a 2** in Spain, if. Room size was ok, but the furniture distribution inside wass non sense. You could not watch tv from anywhere in the room unless you turned your head more than 90 degrees. The bathroom was old and the bathtube curtain was filthy. The way some employees treated guests was shocking! I spoke english and tried to smile at them, but they were giving or... Read more

The hotel Orphee was by the sea but it was down a very steep road.if you have mobility problems. Two bombed out hotel very close by .The food was not very good. not recommend to eat by the pool either There was only a small grocery shop open on sight at this time and the ferry booking shop.Very Good service our main way of travelling to Dubrovnik and Cavtat The bar closed at 9pm.Nothing was laid on like it says in the Thomson's brochure

A trip back in time here at Orphee, if you loved Spain in the 70s then you will love it. I can't say much that hasn't already been said regarding the breakfast and evening meal. There was nothing whatsoever to do in the evening and nowhere to walk to. You really must hire a car if you you do fancy travelling back in time and staying here. The pool area is nice and the place is clean, loved the local dalmatian Dog that visited regularly and was one of the highlights of our stay here. I know it's no... Read more

If you looking for bustling night life crammed full of bustling bars, the forget about going to this hotel. If you are looking for total relaxation away from bustling streets and beaches then this is for you. No sandy beaches although the hotel has a small private shingle one with a bar/ cafe but the pool makes up for this it's fantastic and uncrowded. I have seen the quality of food mentioned here however I found the food to be wholesome and plentiful. You have to remember that the hotel is c... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Orphee even if it is a bit worn. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the view from our balcony spectacular and it was really quiet. Only the birds and the lazy waves could be heard. I see others have mentioned the food. We were not impressed either. If the new hotel, which is supposed to be ready in 2018, offers "all inclusive", I would not stay there, unless they get a new staff in the kitchen. We tried the buffet dinner one night and it was the standar... Read more

Only a 20min ride from the airport which is fantastic! First impressions of the hotel were fine, however the initial receptionist didn't give us much info. Hotel is dated and has no real mod-cons including NO WIFI IN ROOMS! Wifi is only accessible in the reception and the restaurant - which has a 24 year old with iPhones and iPads, it's not ideal! Food is okay, not brilliant and not a huge selection either, drinks are not including if you're going Half Board. Rep came on second morning and... Read more

Room basic, pool not bad, Not much to do in the area but lovely boat ride to dubrovnik old town worth a visit for 100 kuna return. Breakfast not up to much and only one shop on site which I never saw open. We were only there for 3 days, the local beer was nice and that's about it. Would love to go back to Dubro bunk, but not hotel orphee

We did not have a plug for our sink but as we were only staying 3 days we didn't bother to ask for one. The bathroom was really small & I didn't feel that it was cleaned very well. There seemed to be a continuous smell of chorizo being cooked daily on site. The staff were not very understanding of English. The WiFi was virtually non existent. I was refused service in the on site taverna for no apparent reason. The breakfast is very basic. The pool area was very clean but there is a shortage of s... Read more

The hotel is in a quiet location but the surroundings and views are lovely. The rooms are good value for money and we enjoyed our stay there. The staff were friendly and very helpful and we had a relaxing few days during our time there.

We planed to stay in the hotel for 4 nights and we fled after just 1 night. Here are just some of the reasons: - Air Condition was leaking all night. They put a single hink under it and in the morning the hink was half full. It was almost impossible to fall to sleep because of the noise of the water falling in to that hink. - Bathtub drain was plugged. It took several hours for water to disappear after every shower. - We are talking about a huge complex and internet is working just on the few s... Read more

We stay at the hotel for 3 nights. This is actually not a regular hotel but a complete resort area. There are pools as shown in the pictures, beaches are grate too. The rest (which is not shown in the pictures) is average minus. Some of the rooms are 1/2 mile away from the restaurant and the pools area. The rooms are at 3-story buildings with no elevator. Means, for breakfast we had to go down 3 floors, walk 1/2 mile and step up 3 floors. Not the ideal vacation. The rooms are old. No I... Read more

Four of us, not young and fond of our comforts, stayed here for one night at the end of an otherwise splendid trip to Croatia and Montenegro. This hotel comes up a lot if you search for an hotel close to Dubrovnik airport and it is very convenient for the airport. It also has lovely views and a nice pool, it is clean, it is relatively inexpensive. That unfortunately is where the good news ends. The bad points are: 1. It is on a steep site and cars cannot get to the hotel itself, so you need to ... Read more
