Nice hotel, clean, nice bed and sheets, very comfortable. But I cannot get over several things: 1. I specified NO wake up call, yet the phone was called and answered 3 different times, until I unplugged it. 2. the room was so overheated the 2 times I stayed here, that even after turning off the heat and opening the window in sub-zero temperatures, it was too warm. 3. The showers are ridiculous--there's no way to use it without water going all over the floor of the bathroom.

Modern and clean. As a Marriott Platinum member, I was upgraded to a suite, which was great. The shower had endless hot water and great water pressure, and the room itself was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Zagreb. There appears to be a casino next-door, and you are in a central location to the city. I did not get out to look at the immediate surroundings, but it looks safe. The food in the restaurant was very good

First, let me say what a wonderful city Zagreb is. It was the location of my first international trip in 1989, but it left me with a rather unimpressive feel at the time. Visiting nearly 30 years later in 2016, I found that Zagreb is close to achieving the top tier international status it deserves. The Westin property is in proximity to the best of Zagreb--the churches, squares, monuments, markets, and museums that you'd expect. The hotel itself is modern and clean with amenities such as trave... Read more

The hotel is very nice as always also the clean of the rooms and toilets are very good! The food in the restaurant is typical mediterian style. Space of the room is very good and also is here very good fitness centre.

This hotel is right in the heart of Zagreb within walking distance to the old city and many great restaurants. The food in the hotel restaurant is quite good also. The only down side for my trip last October was that the hotel temperature was alway way too hot as they had shut down the AC and weren't able to regulate the temperature for the entire hotel.

I don't stay in many 5 star hotels. The room was like most I have stayed in, the lobby huge and opulent. There were several high speed elevators. I was disappointed in the breakfast buffet. The foods were crammed into quite a small location. There was so much china and flatware on the table it was difficult to eat. The service was however excellent. The hotel's location is great, very close to the opera house, museums and shopping.

Was having a very high expectation from Westin which we have stayed in many other Westin around the world. This is definitely not to the mark of my "Westin" as I've ever visited. The place looks abit old and run down. But rooms are ok with reasonable size, beds comes with high quality linens, but the toiletries and bathroom are bit disappointed as it has few broken corners and tiles and accessories ... sad for Westin as a brand. My room's heater was not working and the plumber has to bring a ... Read more

Stayed one night for a business conference. Decent enough, but I cannot say I would go out of my way to stay here again. Room was fine, good bed and pillows. Wifi worked fine.. wide selection at breakfast and attentive staff. Coffee unfortunately was from a large urn, the type you have for conferences. Gym was large, but full of locals who had joined it, didn't get the sense that gym was cleaned often or adequately. Adequate but no charm or anything out of the ordinary for a busy chain hotel.

We were on vacation, but we arrived at the same time as the Davis Cup as well as a convention and cruise ship. The hotel was full to capacity. The staff did their best to accommodate our early check in request at 9am. We finally got to our room at 12:30pm. The room had a great city view. The rooms are good size and the beds very comfortable. The shower was a little confusing to figure out, but overall a great stay.

I stayed 5 nights. What is great is the fitness center inside, the hugest one I've ever seen. I didn't go to the pool. Rooms are not so impressive like a standard business room without charm. As we say "devil is in details" what is more surprising is about the cleaning that is closer to any change than up to perfect place. Waiter/ress at restaurant seem to be concerned by your needs or requests. You have the feeling to be back to years before wall destruction. Some corridors/doors/spaces need t... Read more
