We enjoyed our stay at hotel Bozica enormously. We were travelling by car and arranged transfer by speedboat to Sipan island from the little harbour of Brsecine, 20 km north from Dubrovnik, an ideal way to arrive at this lovely place. Hotel is very clean and well cared for. Room not very large, but sea view with balcony is highly recommended, stunning views! Breakfast buffet was excellent, restaurant also good, but we enjoyed eating out now and then in the neighbouring restaurant, which was als... Read more

We were looking for somewhere to take my elderly mother and we were recommended hotel Bozica. The staff were unfailingly good natured and friendly the meals were simple and delicious. She loved a room looking out to sea because she could see boats coming and going. We were able to swim off a bathing platform into the sea. We all loved walking over the tranquil and beautiful island amongst the beautiful wildflowers.

This was the first stop of our honeymoon in Croatia. We had scheduled a transfer from the airport, and we were picked up on time, and then driven to a landing where we then transferred to a boat, and arrived at the hotel a short while later. Check in was a breeze, and the room was perfect. We had reserved a ocean view with balcony, and the view was fantastic. The size of the room was quite large by Euro standards, and the bathroom was comfortable. The hotel grounds themselves were well ma... Read more

Wonderful seven days in an excellent hotel. First class staff who appeared happy and had a lovely sense of humour. Good food and first rate amenities insures that this hotel is a credit to its owner and management. Sipan is an unspoilt island with good ferry connections to its neighbouring islands and Dubrovnic. We will certainly be returning in the future.

So, no idea what this hotel is actually like, it looks lovely from the photos and the other reviews seem to be good, which is why we booked it (in November 2015) for May 2016. However, I've just received an email from the hotel (25 days before we're supposed to be checking in) saying that although they acknowledged and confirmed our booking in November, they're now unable to confirm they have a room available for the first night of our stay. Well, thanks for that. Flights, transfers etc booked... Read more

This hotel was SO fantastic we went twice last year in May then September. Lovely sea view rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast with a huge and generous array of fruit, eggs cake etc. A beautiful setting right on the sea with private places to sit and a lovely pool on the terrace. The staff here are the most helpful and friendly I have ever encountered.

This hotel is situated overlooking the harbour on the delightful traffic free island of Sipan. From the minute you walk through the door you feel in a welcoming and cosseted environment. Staff seem happy and are professional, polite, friendly and helpful. All those I met spoke good English. The outdoor pool is large enough for a proper swim and the terrace surrounding it has sunbeds and tables with comfortable chairs to sit and while the time away. Not sure about writing this review as I am not sure that I want too many people to find this gem. Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms, superb food and an excellent staff able to combine quality service with a friendly style. Worth looking at half board as the food is exceptional. Sea or pool, the choice is yours. Lazy day, or head out on the local ferries to surrounding islands. Already planning for next year

Have just spent 2 nights at Hotel Bozica and it really is a lovely hotel in great location overlooking Sudurad harbour and village. Very comfortable room with all amenities. Food was great with breakfast being especialy varied. We arrived early about 10.30am and were allowed to check in early which was much appreciated. Similarly we did not check out until 5pm on last day as we had a very late flight back to the UK and they let us keep our room all day. Good sun lounger area below hotel with... Read more

Last year we spent a week at the Bozica. We went back hoping for more of the same...it was even better. It was lovely to be greeted by the guys that work there as long lost friends and to be whisked straight to our room where we were checked in. We were unpacked and by the pool in less than 30 minutes from docking at the jetty. We stayed at Tri Sestre (don't go there) but had a superb dinner at Bozica, excellent food, excellent service and more importantly they put themselves out to help us when my husband suffered an episode of sciatica and was struggling to walk, they came to our rescue and will never forget their kindness, have met so many wonderful Croatian people during our visits over a number of years and the staff at Bozica are exemplary, thank you

Waking to that wonderful view each morning was heavenly. All the staff here were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was lovely and had everything you could possibly want including omelettes and eggs cooked to order. We only had dinner at the hotel on our last night but it was very good. The excursion organised by the hotel to Mljet island by speedboat was a perfect day - do go if you get the chance.

Hotel Bozica is perched upon a rocky point which gives a view that is guaranteed not only to delight, but to give interest, more about that later. We enjoyed a warm welcome from Bozica staff which was followed through during our entire stay. Our room was small, but enlarged by the magnificent vista from the "Juliette balcony". We had room A22. The hotel is very overpriced. It need a rehabilitation, and there is a terrible smell for the grill. Every time they make lunch and dinner the smell and smoke from the grill is entering the rooms. And its not a good smell. The island is also very small, so to see more people and good restaurants you have to take the ferry. The hotel is best for older people.

We spent a week at Hotel Bozica and it really was one of the best holiday weeks ever. Our standard room was clean, bright and silent. Breakfast was very good and versatile. The location of Hotel Bozica was fantastic with own beach. Lunch and dinner were both above average. But what is most important - the staff was very polite and helpful. Almost the only minus was the lack of gym.

For our part it took us a couple of days to settle into this hotel. Yes it is on a small island but it's not quite such a remote/ idyllic setting as we were anticipating. The pool is quite small and high up near the hotel so the majority gravitate down the large no of steps to the "beach". This in fact a few concrete platforms with immediate access to the sea (no sand!) with plastic sun loungers. First of all, it's a lovely setting. With hindsight (but this was our 1st trip to Croatia) perhaps 10 nights was too many and we should have mixed our locations up a bit more, as Sipan is quite limited in size, though we did enjoy a couple of trips to Sipanska Luka (bus very efficient!) as a contrast to sleepy Sudurad. Good points: Transfer via speedboat to hotel - fantastic! Staff are lovely and very eager to help/please. Location and views. We loved the sleepy pace of Sudurad village, watchi... Read more

Returned for a few days' break at the Božica, having stayed there last year. It's still a lovely place. It may not be the smartest or most up-to-date of hotels, but it provides excellent customer service from an enthusiastic, courteous staff and it is extremely clean and comfortable throughout. Restaurant is as good as ever. I'll be back again next year.
