I stayed here in March! The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok, street only. Food was good. Rooms were very spacious. The hotel is situated high on a hill and you have a great view of the city and ocean. Great gym to do weights or cardio. š???

We stayed here for 5 days in May. A very comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. Although some distance from the town of Porec (about 20 minutes walk along a delightful coast path) it offers extesive on-site activities for all ages. Access to Porec is also available on the Noddy Train that provides a regular service. Food was outstanding, with dishes cooked at the serving point. The price for drinks was very reasonable for a hotel of this quality. Excellent base to explore Istria. Would be ... Read more

We stayed here one night at the end of our biking trip from Venice to Porec. The hotel is large with many rooms, swimming pool, wellness center, beauty salon and bike storage. Rooms were spacious. Our room had a sitting area and two bathrooms along with a separate area for the bed- a mini suite. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We walked to dinner in Old Town and it was abut a 15 minute walk along a well marked path.

This is a lovely Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great, well presented everything is served fresh and a huge choice both at breakfast and evening meal. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated in a lovely park area with just a short walk to the sea. The pool is fine although a little shallow, there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Thank you for a lovely Holiday.

A great hotel in what is one of the best locations in the world. Set amongst pine trees by the side of the sea. Very, very relaxing with a great team who look after you so well. A great coastal path walk into Porec with easy access points to the sea. Just got back from one of my best ever holidays.

The main problem of this hotel is a staff. Very unfriendly and unprofessional ! Especially gardeners and securities. They are real croatian dorks. It seems the general manager of this hotel doesn't really know how to make a tourist business and what the real hospitality is. I would give to this hotel only 2 stars. No more. It's not worth it.

Excellent hotel, rooms fine , food was excellent (the best we have had in h/b) Evening entertainment was very limited but Porec was only 15 - 20 minutes away. For a treat catch a taxi speedboat back, only 100 kuna, not bad between four. It finished off the evening nicely.

Stayed half board for a week. Hotel was in great location - slightly set back from coast and surrounded by woodland yet not far from Porec. Rooms and communal areas are modern and well kept and the wellness / gym facilities were a bonus. Bike rental servie was competitive with good service and local knowledge. Restaurant served great choice of fresh food for both breakfast and dinner; special thanks to the manager (Maria ?) for helping us celebrate a birthday with style. The only small downer ... Read more

Stayed a week in a classic junior suite. Fab sea view. Enough space for three. Added bonus of having two bathrooms. Nice comfy bed. Good selection of dishes at breakfast & dinner. Coffee was not the best but tea was ok. Indoor & outdoor pool both unheated so brace yourself! Really enjoyed our stay here & would definitely stay here again. Lots of activities in the area something for everyone no matter what age.

It is a very good four stars hotel and we enjoyed staying here for the weekend. Rooms are stylish, nothing special but you have everything that you need. The bed and the pillows were to soft for my taste. Great breakfast buffet, lots of variety of different food. Dinner buffet was so-so. Nice pool area with enough sun beds (it is the top season), but I guess manny people went to the beach. The pool was very shallow, most of the pool was between 0,5 - 1,20m deep, max was 1,50m. You can't swim i... Read more

We have just returned from an excellent 11 day stay at this hotel. We have stayed at valamar hotels previously in dubrovnik and this was of the same standard and i would say that the food was even better. The entertainment was also a big plus. As at all valamar hotels the staff provide first class service. We enjoyed being able to walk into porec most days from the hotel which was around 20 minutes along the path set by the sea. Would recommend this hotel and we plan to return next year.

Our first ever visit to Croatia we are a family of four two boys 8 and 13, we had two rooms on the eighth floor with a good view but not of the pool, this did not bother us as the view over the vineyard and olive grove was really nice, also great for the morning sunrise. These rooms were not interconnected but still a great choice as were next door to each other. We stayed on half board basis and the food was excellent, plenty of choice for breakfast and with a different theme every night you ne... Read more

Visited this hotel for two weeks in June. It is situated about 10mins walk from Porec, either through a wooded area or via the promenade. The staff were very helpful and a credit to the hotel. The food was buffet style and plentiful, with a varied menu. The room was very clean but the bathroom was in dire need of upgrading as it appeared that the bathroom suite had probably been in the room since the hotel was built. There were always sunbeds available at the pool. A most enjoyable stay.

Our first ever visit to Croatia & Valamar Diamant. My husband has beaten me to the review and has said it all. "Craig E" I would personally like to thank the staff at the Hotel from the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by Nensi very efficient and to find both our rooms ready 828 & 830 we were delighted - she was right lovely rooms. I was worried that our boys would be next door with no inter-linking door. I had absolutely nothing to worry about they were very safe and loved... Read more

We stayed half board and found the food to be of a good standard, however trying to get some of the waiting staff to serve you or bring you cutlery etc. was another matter. One particular young lady, called Dragana, when asked if we could have some cups on the breakfast table, replied "we are working"! Our classic room was nothing special and the small bathroom was in need of updating. We did enjoyed a trip to the Spinnaker restaurant at the sister hotel in Porec where the food was lovely. We sa... There were 10 of us on family holiday aged 19 to 70, wonderful. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and in perfect position on the waterfront. Hotel is very clean and the food was way beyond our expectations. Staff were great, pool area had plenty of room and beds with lots of outdoor entertainment. Beautiful resort plenty of shops and history, had a great time and would definitely recommend.

We had a reasonable stay at the Diamant but could have been so much better. Pros The quality of the food Grounds kept nice Pool area kept very clean Cons Room on the first floor over looked a pebble mess roof which continued for about 40' so that was our view. It was worse than sat out in a yard. Also the main concern was the balcony not lit or covered so when it rained it was very slippy. Some of the staff can be very short with you and can make you feel uneasy. There are one or two that... Read more

We visited this place on a pass-through visit during our European Travels. It was a last minute booking and we just wanted somewhere to stay for a few nights. We didn't check for reviews like we usually do and we didn't care to check any prices or similar places nearby due to time constraints. I think on this occasion, Luck was on our side! Not only was is set in such a beautiful town, it had everything that we wanted. From WI-FI to food, the establishment had everything that we wanted. The fo... Read more

A very clean hotel , throughout , with excellent facilities . The beds were comfortable and there was sufficient storage in the bedroom for both of us .We were there on a half board basis and the food was excellent with ample choice at both breakfast and dinner. The problem in the dining room was in the evening when most people appeared to want to eat at the same time and it did give you the feeling of a works canteen . Do not reccomend residence after october, it's cheaper but really cold for an apartment in october. It is a 4 stars hotel but somehow it's not it. You have to wait for your morning coffee until the waitress pours it. Mind the doors, at the 1 st floor where I was staying, the door of the room was opening by it self all the time if not locked. The swimming pool is great, expept btw 18- 20 h when it's full off local kids. I would expect more from a 4 star.

In general, accommodation was excellent and most of the service staff was excellent also. Reception desk was weak point: they were ineffective and not too polite. It was crowdy so I could forgive and forget this. But can not forgive and forget awful fishes they served for dinner - all 3 kinds I've tried to eat. (In the restaurant - not at the reception desk:-)).

Spent a few days in one of their apartments/suites. It was huge, gigantic living room, full kitchen and two bedrooms. Easy access to the hotel, 2 minutes from the pool and the beach and right across the park from hotel restaurants and bars. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the town and things to do in the surrounding area. AMAZING SUNSETS!!! All together a great deal and a great few days. Love Istria!

We stayed at the Diamant for a couple of days in October. The weather was still nice so I could enjoy the beautiful surroundings with my little daughter. The room (actually junior suite) that they put us in was in great shape, well equipped with a lot of wardrobe space and 2 full size bathrooms. The bed was a bit on the small side but comfortable to sleep on. The breakfast & dinner were excellent with much more choice than one man can handle for a meal so every meal was an opportunity to try s... Read more

As with previous reviews- lovely wide choice of food and the room standards are good and the hotel is set in delightful surroundings..Found all of the staff to be polite and helpful at all times and nothing was a problem. They are all evidently well trained and encouraged to go the extra mile with their service -well done to them all and to the management for achieving such a standard of service throughout a busy hotel.

If you go there for the beach and swimming you will not be able to find the sandy, sunny beach because the shore is mostly rocky. But the hotel, garden and backyard is really beautiful with some activities for adults and youngsters. When it comes to the hotel, it is modern, stylish and comfortable. Only some parts in the residences may need renovation. Prices could have been lower because the place does not offer the type of holiday you could imagine by the sea. Personnel is really helpful, unde... Read more

Overall a great hotel experience. Rooms are cosy, well maintained. Food was fresh, delicious and inovative (lots of choice for vegetarians). Indoor pool area was spotless with lots of sun loungers. Fitness has just anything you wish for (Technogym equipment).
