I have to say it is a very good and clean hotel with a different food to choose. It is not a very new hotel but it is nice and near the sea. Food is ok, could be better, a little like in a mess, but different choice are nice. Service was ok a little bit confused but fine. I was here on buissnes so not sure about the price and value. Can not comment on that part. The location is in a center of a town and everything is on 5 min walk, which is nice.

This is a hotel we have visited several times over the last 10 years. Every time we find something better or nicer and always we are welcomed by very friendly and helpful people. On our last visit over Easter we really felt special with the care Mr. Predrag Kosti? took of us and our little girl. He and his staff were very keen on making us feel comfortable and welcome and we enjoyed our stay enormously. We have tried some other hotels in the area, but for us (and our toddler) this is not just t... Read more

The hotel is situated in an ideal location. It has a garage. The food was fine, but the lunch could be more diverse. There was no fish on menu. It disappoints me. Therefore breakfast and dinner were excellent. The room was poor, not renovated for years, bathroom and toilet too bad. There were no disposable slippers in the room, but after queries they were sent to us. It was cold and we asked for an extra blanket, and we get it one very soon. The hotel is a located in the city center, close to... Read more

This large hotel complex sits just above the small harbour in the centre of Opatija. Despite attracting large numbers of package tourists, the staff cope efficiently and unobtrusively with the various demands. Comfortable rooms, many with balconies and sea views. Excellent breakfasts and buffet dinners with a good choice of options. On the minus side, the older blocks (such as "Magnolia") are not air conditioned and get very warm. The hotel is also very popular for conferences and weddings, so ... Read more

This Hotel is split into a few locations around the main Hotel but all only a short walk of one another. The block I was in was called Magnolia (they are all named after flowers) my room was clean and overlooked the Adriatic and I could not fault it.The food in the Restaurant was plentiful and of reasonable quality(buffet style). Breakfast generally plentiful but no decent Tea!! Opatija is a brilliant town clean, stunning scenery, friendly people.

I was in Opatija 3 times already with my partner. Two times in spring and one time in winter before New Year. Both, the spring time and winter time has its charm. In spring time there was no crowd and we had whole wellness just for us. Although, we liked winter time better. Between Milenij group of hotels there is nice romantic atmosphere, we were surrounded with Christmas lights/decorations and music, and that really brings up a nice Christmas spirit. Also the city itself is amazing, I was impr... Read more

This is a decent hotel in a great position overlooking the sea & within walking distance of the main attractions. . This is part of a group of very different hotels situated alongside each other (Magnolia, Camellia, 4 flowers & Marigold). Unfortunately the dining area is very busy as so many large groups are there for a short stay. This made it very noisy, and the tables are too small & close to together. Food is buffet style. Our room was clean but a little dated & the air con was very noisy. T... Read more

A rather mixed review for this hotel. It's in a beautiful location right on the sea front and has a lovely - if a little small - outdoor pool area. We never had any problem getting sun beds. The wellness area is a lovely facility but confusing. On our first day, we wandered in and using the sauna, steam rooms and jacuzzi with no questions asked and no signs suggesting payment was required. The same woman who let us in that day decided we would have to pay 90kuna a day going forward - it was real... Read more

I travelled all around Europe, but here in Opatija is the best brakfast, period! Brakfast is warm, cooked, with everything one can think of. Also sweets, cakes and chocholates are excellent. Staff is always friendly and most attentive. Although outdoor pool is on the small side, and standard rooms will soon need refurbishment, (premium rooms are, on the contrary brand new and modern!!! highly well invested extra ?!), and although this hotel is not for thrill-seeking party-animals, if you love ... We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Grand 4. We used Opatija as our base for exploring Istria and there's lots to explore including the lovely towns of Pula, Rovinj and Porec as well as some charming villages on the Opatija Riviera and nearby islands. We opted for a superior sea view room which had great views and a very comfortable bed. Definitely worth going for a sea view. Breakfast buffet is great with lots of choice. We booked standard room with sea view. Room is not located in the main building, but in the villa Magnolia. As we stayed in a superior room last time, i didn't see many differences with standard room - except location and a bit smaller size. Access wise this villa is even better, as you have a direct access to the main street on the Opatija street. Sea view was beautiful, but again. Pick your room wisely . Ask for a high floor (3rd or 4th floor in Magnolia). We were in the 4th floor and it was... Read more

This is a complex of 4 hotels on Opatija shore line. Common spaces like lobby, bars, wellness, beach ...are great but so are not rooms. Poor indeed. Need refresh. The view of the sea is wonderful so it is worth asking a sea front room. Services include: parking (expensive), wifi free connection (good one). Breakfast is top level !

Location: Great location with walking distance to both the beach and the centre of the beautiful Opatija town. Rooms: We had to connecting rooms (33 & 34) in the newly renovated part of the hotel called Villa Royal. Great! Spacious, nicely furnished, clean - and with small balconies. Loved it! Royal beach: Nice beach area, but be sure to book a sunbed the day before. Sun disappears quite early in the afternoon, so for a couple of days we chose the Bevanda Beach Club (5 minute walk) instead. (W... Read more

My mom and I stayed at the Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta with a full Superior Room and Wellness package for two nights. Our suite was fabulous, and we even had a canopy bed on the outside terrace. The food was a rich and local fresh buffet every day with great selection. Service was definitely great and we enjoyed the staff. The restaurant( breakfast and dinner) were great. There were many choice. The beach was also nice, you have to pay for the bed, the water was clean.

We arranged this hotel as part of a 2 centre trip with Prestige Holidays. This was our second choice hotel, but turned out to be better! We were in the Camelia building where reception and restaurant are based. The other 3 buildings, plus the Hotel Royal are all owned by same group. We were given a superior sea view room which was large, with a sofa and balcony overlooking the small harbour and out towards Rijeka. The bed was very comfy. This hotel pretty much ticks all the main boxes and is very well located in the lovely town of Opatija. Our room was good, the food choices extensive at the morning and evening buffets, hotel facilities great and so on. My only niggle would be the arrangement with the lifts. I stayed twice. I am very satisfied with the hotel and the room, pool also. The food is very good, but due to the seminar in yen occasion they did not have enough dishes and clean tables so I had to wait in line for a table. I stayed with a small child, so I asked for a cot. What brought me was terrible. I think we should try and get a decent bed for a child. Since I stayed during the seminar hotel was crowded but felt understaffed to so many people. The hotel is split between 4 buildings on two different levels and setting aside the inconvenience of this we were very disappointed by the Begonia where we were situated. The entrance was on par with a dormitory of the past, the elevator, for only 4/5 persons, was very claustrophobic and the bedroom very small, dark and outdated. The only window was approx 75cmX115cm, so once one take away the thick plastic frame, one is left with a very small glass area. The window was also overlooking the bui... Read more

I've stayed here twice and I'm not impressed. The rooms are outdated and needs to be refreshed. If you booked a room with sea view you will have an amazing view over the ocean - and that is what you pay for. The location is nice and you are just a few minutes away from the ocean and a nice walk by the sea. The hotel has several buildings with lots of stairs. The hotel is a complex of buildings arranged on a gradient between the main road and the sea front. Our room was in Magnolia building and had an extensive sea view. The location was superb, right on the sea front, with easy access to the lungomare promenade, the lovely Angiolina Park next door and very close to main street with shops & restaurants. Some parts are steep or stepped though, so people with mobility issues might struggle. The hotel is split into 4 buildings. 4 opatijska cvijeta means 4 Opatija's flowers, i.e: 4 buildings - connected in a complicated way - without adequate map (and without enough toilets - you'd need for sure before reaching your room:-)). A big conference took place there and lot of us were wandering around looking for a right direction... hardly smart enough for this challenging place:-)

I stayed in the Camellia with an Overseas Adventure Travel group for two nights. The hotel itself looks great in the public areas, but the rooms are faded, in need of renovation, a fresh coat of paint and new mattresses. The couch in one of my travel mates room was stained and had holes. Now for the good - the breakfast buffet was the best. Great selection and fresh made omelets on the weekend!
