One of the best locations in Hvar! The view from the rooftop bar is maybe one of the best in Hvar. It overlooks the harbor and is spectacular day or night. This view is perfect for anyone into photography. The walk to the fortress has different views but excellent as well. Had a lunch here with a tour group of 24 and it was good but not great. The breakfast buffet here is great. They have anything that your heart could desire. They even offer lactose free milk. Some of the rooms have ... Read more

A great location - definitely pay for a sea view as its great to see the boats come in and out in the morning. The Top Bar and sun lounging space on the roof are excellent, especially if you just want a few hours to relax in the sun and read a book. Breakfast was also great - a lot of choice and lovely to eat overlooking the harbour. The rooms are a little sterile in my opinion, but they were very clean and our room had disabled access so was really quite spacious. The staff were helpful and l... Read more

My three friends and I found the hotel excellent in many respects. Staff were great, breakfast was excellent and access to the patio on the 1st floor was lovely. Able to overlook the beautiful harbour and sit and talk to friends. The only thing my friend and I found wanting was the design of the bathroom. I think the bathroom was designed with only men in mind with no shelf in the shower big enough to place shampoos and shower gels on together making it very difficult to manage withou... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights in late May, and couldn't be happier with our experience at the Adriana. Our room was lovely, facing directly onto the harbour. Not huge, but perfectly big enough, and stylish. Breakfast was truly incredible, with delicious, local ingredients and lots of healthy options. The staff were all excellent. The rooftop bar and pool are great, and my partner had the best ever massage in the spa. Right in the thick of things for bars, restaurants, boat trips and walks. Highly recommen... Read more

This was a very modern hotel is probably the best location in Hvar Town. Right on the beautiful marina, nestled in a hillside , great views of the water, boats, people. It's a 4 or 5 story white building. Nice lobby. Great restaurant with outside seating. Food was excellent. The waiters were inconsistent. Most were great but a few were unfriendly and seemed like they resented tourists. Our room was on the 4th floor. Across from a beautiful indoor pool. Not sure why they have an indoor pool, but ... Our room was city view with a smaller view of water, probably better given significant night noise from bar scene. Short walk from ferry, hotel staff met us and trucked our bags. We stayed here for two nights just a few days ago. This is a modern hotel right on the waterfront. Bring your earplugs, as there is a lot of action going on right outside the window. The windows had triple (?) pane glass that really shut out most of the noise, but there was a lot of partying going on. It is that kind of town - like the French or Italian Riviera. My family spent two comfortable nights in Hvar at the Adriana Hotel during the crazy Euro Cup finals. It was a nice spot from which to observe the rollicking fun that was Hvar. The only problem we had was getting the AC to the right temperature for sleeping, but that was mostly user failure. We opened the ... Read more

Very convenient location, clean and friendly. We had a room with a great view of the bay. Outstanding buffet breakfast. Only two drawbacks - the small size of the room meant a very cramped bathroom with only one sink and the room lighting, particularly for reading in bed (since there is no room for a comfortable chair) is terrible. As with every other hotel we stayed at in Croatia, there is always a trace of stale cigarette smoke, but this was better than most.

We had the spa suite with balcony which was very peaceful and had stunning views over the harbour. From September this is a great option but in the height of summer Hvar becomes the party town of Croatia and is very noisy This was the last of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our journey and in all cases the service needs to be refined in all areas particularly the bar and restaurant. Breakfasts were awful and the best food was definitely in small local seafood restaurants away from the tourist centr... Read more

I have been coming to Hvar for years, often staying at the Adriana for weeks at a time. I can't think of a better place to stay, and the hotel experience is part of the reason I keep coming back to the island (rare, I know). There's a million reviews already about the rooms and facilities. They are easily the best you'll find on the island. I won't say anymore. The pool is great, but people tend to prefer the sea. The spa is great (the only decent one I've found in Hvar). Let me just spend a ... Read more

We stayed here on our Backroads bike trip. The first nice touch was the welcome champagne. We had turn down service which was unexpected. The pool was lovely and the breakfast exceptional. Our room was very contemporary and had a small window which looked towards the bay. Not a terrific angle but I did see the sunset. The shower and sink are next to each other in an interesting configuration. I was not crazy about it.

We had a very disappointing stay here. Our room had a pungent, sewage-like smell coming from the drain in the shower/bathroom, which pervaded our room and even a little into the hallway. Opening the windows helped, but it was chilly, so when we closed the windows, it came back. The hotel staff tried spraying the room and also gave us another room, but they gave us the room directly above our 2nd floor room -- and while the smell was somewhat better, it was still there. Both rooms were also v... Read more

We were on a brief visit to Hvar town on our day catamaran trip from Split and after wandering about the town we decided , as a wee treat, to go up to the Top Bar just for a drink, a sit down, and a chance to take in the lovely view. So up we went via the lift then the final stairs to the top level, where we sat down and waited.....and waited... and waited. Eventually a member of staff appeared and we ordered. Withe time being limited I asked how long it would take them to rustle up the cheese ... Read more

Even though some reviews were not favorable, we chose to stay at this hotel because of the Spa and location. We were very pleased with the experience. It is a rather small hotel, small room, but with a grand view of the harbor. Bathroom was a little cramped but well stocked. Breakfast buffet was copious, anything you could want in the morning, and on the outside terrace facing the harbor. My husband had a thai massage in the spa and said it was a real thai massage! Spa very nice too, with a salt... Read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at your hotel. Between the comfortable bed, stylish furnishings and great shower we were very relaxed. Service was efficient and friendly. Pool was special but our favorite was the breakfast. It was a feast for the eyes and for the stomach. Other delights included 4th floor bar, desserts and location.

We stayed at the Adriana for 4 nights so that we could finalize wedding details for our daughter's wedding at one of the Adriana's sister hotels. Our see facing room was ample and well equipped and furnished with a stunning view across the harbor. The bathroom, whilst not being huge, was well equipped and functional. The service was first class including fluffy bathrobes and slippers. The roof top bar was excellent with magnificent views and atmosphere. The roof top salt water pool was clean and... Read more

Great location right by the harbor next to the town center with beautiful view from the hotel room. They have a nice big salt water pool and top floor bar. Good breakfast with lots of things to chose between. Friendly personnel. Clearly a place to recommend.

We stayed here for two nights on a recent trip to Hvar. The hotel is great. The location can not be beat. It is in the center of the old city right on the harbor. The breakfast is terrific with extensive choices and a great outdoor patio for dining. The room were good size with comfortable beds. We would return anytime.

Convenient location on the harbor with lovely views. Property was nice and modern with many amenities for vacationers. The downside was that our hotel room was right below the restaurant that served as a disco in the evenings. It made it difficult to sleep which was a challenge since we had 7am meet ups with our tour guide. The noise factor was most likely related to the time of year (early July) and Hvar seemed to be a favorite location for bachelor/bachelorette parties.

From the outside this hotel looks a bit like a sanatorium from the communist times having undergone quite a nice transformation into a modern hotel for the discriminating traveler. Now mind you, if you can't stand noise from bands or discos playing in the not too far distance, this place probably won't be for you. If you like the lively mediterranean night life, you will have a blast being right in the middle of it. You could almost call this a boutique style hotel, were it not for a few design ... Read more
