My wife and I flew to Dubrovnik from Zagreb. Had the hotel send a driver to pick us up. We are seniors and the gave us a 4th floor room It's all walkup. the staff carried our bags for us to the room. The free breakfast was good with eggs to order and the traditional foods common in the area. It is convenient to the main pedestrian area. Since the old town is pedestrian only the cabs or busses drop you off at the entry gate and from there you have to do your own bags. We traveled light so it wasn... Read more

This a a very nice, new, well kept hotel inside the city walls of Dubrovnik. The breakfast and dining room has the best views of the City. That being said it can be a bit noisy late at night (groups of youngsters partying mainly Saturday and Sunday night) as well as early in the morning (garbage pick-up, deliveries, etc) Other than that is a great place to stay and get to know Dubrovnik inside out: great food, great wine and a lot of history to be immersed in.

We stayed here for the first stop on our honeymoon. We were the only ones at the hotel as we were visiting just after the high season. Room was clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful and even gave us a glass of wine on the roof one night, on the house. The location is prime if you want to tour the old city, and the rooftop restaurant is the only one in the old city and offers amazing views. If you drive, keep in mind they do not allow cars in the walls, so you will have to park a bit and w... Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stari Grad! The rooms are very nice, the people are so friendly and helpful, and the food was great!! The view from the top terrace is beautiful! Also, the hotel is in a great location, so it makes it very easy to walk around Dubrovnik. We hope to go back some day!

This quaint, small hotel is right in the middle of old town. The service is unbelievable - especially Jelena, Natasha, and the two Majas. Breakfast is included and you den in the only rooftop restaurant in the old town. Great location, great room, and great service - what more can you ask for?

Beautiful hotel in charming side street just off the Main Street. Staff are all very kind and attentive. As you will read on other reviews, no elevator so trip to the upper floors is a bit of a trek with 69 steps to the fourth floor where we were based (402)) and about another 20 to get to the roof top restaurant where breakfast is served and where we recommend you go for an exquisite dinner looking over the dusk of Dubrovnik. But it's well worth it and think of the extra calories burned off. O... Read more

Booked 1 night at the Stari Grad in the middle of our weeks stay in Mlini so we could get the best out of our visit to Dubrovnik. What a great little hotel with a fantastic location just of The Stradun. I'd sent a couple of emails prior to arriving and got replies almost instantly. I knew check in wasn't until 2pm but we called in just to leave our overnight bag & we were offered to check straight in, we were over the moon. It was very friendly & welcoming. The rooms are snug and slightly sm... Read more

Beautiful boutique hotel in a 16th century nobleman's house in the center of the old city. Modern, elegant and comfortable, charming staff and breathtaking rooftop terrace for breakfast and dinner. We had both - dinner was excellent, breakfast was ok.
