Great location, awesome view of the Adriatic from the rooms, located a bit far from the Old Town and perfect for those on a laid-back, tranquil holiday. The hotel offers shuttle bus service so going to the Old town is not a major ordeal. I really enjoyed the amazing adriatic sunset from the beach of the resort.

Great location, a bit secluded and located a bit far from the Old town. Perfect for a laid-back, tranquil vacation. The hotel provides shuttle bus service and there is a travel agency near the reception so, getting to the Old town or to the airport is not a problem at all. My room had a great view of the Adriatic, truly enjoyed every moment of my stay. The sunset sky from the private beach looked gorgeous. The resort was above my expectations especially because the location, staff, facilities an... Read more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the resort, but only 2 days to visit the area due to a very late arrival caused by Croatia Airlines. We decided to book 2 tours through the hotel. The first day was a tour to the Old Town with Jelena(?) who was lovely and very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it immensely. On the second day our driver, Denis, picked us up at the hotel in a brand new Mercedes to drive us to Montenegro and Budva. He was wonderful! We had many questions about t... Read more

We spent ten nights here in mid May with our two children aged 3 and 11 months. It's a high end luxury resort but very family friendly too. For us it had everything for a great holiday: amazing views, four pools (including one indoor), a range of restuarants with great food, a good playground, free good wifi, free kids club, and very attentive staff. We were upgraded to a two bedroom residence which was fabulous, as it was really spacious, comfortable, and very well kitted out. Some reviews have... Read more

A 1 week family get away and left with mixed views. The good: great rooms, beautiful setting and an excellent Spa. The bad: Far too far out of Dubrovnik and the shuttle bus was too infrequent. For a family of 4 the shuttle bus was almost as expensive as a taxi and this added almost £300 in shuttle / taxi fares during the week. Also felt a bit trapped in resort as no costal pathways or paths by main roads. The ugly: The pathetic concrete area posing as a beach was closed for a corporate event 1 ... Read more

I would recommend visiting Dubrovnik to anyone that has not yet been, however I would not recommend the Radisson blu! I went with my family and although the resort was amazing we all agreed that we were misled several times while booking the holiday. Firstly, the resort is around a 30 minute drive into the centre... and what was described online as a regular shuttle bus into Dubrovnik was actually the equivalent of a £40 roundtrip to the old town with only the flexibility of 3 busses per day... Whilst Radisson Blu is based outside of the town of Dubrovnik, some 15 minutes drive away, this enabled the hotel and resort to be well spaced out, ensuring no overcrowding, with easy to find space for a poolside bed or a table at any of the 5 restaurants. The trip from the airport to the hotel is a sightseeing must in itself! Unlike other reviews, we saw this not being "too far out", as a little extra luxury given we weren't going to be crammed in like other Dubrovnik hotels can be. If you like... Read more

The Hotel is clean & well maintained (As is the whole area from here to Dubrovnik), and the views from the main Hotel building are beautiful. The beach is also very nice, there's a small pebble beach, and there are rocky beaches as well. Good water sport possibilitie... Read more

We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 small children in a one-bedroom sea view apartment. The apartment had a very smart layout, felt spacious and modern, and was well equipped. The balcony was huge, with room for 2 sun loungers and a small dining set. There were good facilities: several pools, restaurants, and a well-run kids club. There was direct access to the beach, which was lovely. I also tried the spa, which was great. This is a full-service resort with the convenient option of self-catering apart... Read more

My wife and I stayed in Radisson Blu back in June on points. So we considered our stay to be free! Location - on a beautiful stretch of Adriatic. HOWEVER note - it's not very close to old town Dubrovnik. You would need a car or use pricey taxis. Rooms - we were upgraded to suite. Huge, beautifully decorated room, with humongous balcony. Food - we only ate breakfast there and it was great. Lots of choices, high quality and nice setting on an outside patio. We heard that onsite restaurants and ba... Read more

We stayed for three nights of our honeymoon in Dubrovnik and throroughly enjoyed our time in the Radisson Blu Resort. The staff had noted that we were on honeymoon and left us a lovely bootle of fizz and some mini deserts to welcome us on our stay. A nice touch and much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. All the hotel staff were friendly during our stay and the views from our balcony were fantastic. The hotel restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and international bu... Read more

This situated just down from our villa in Zaton, fabulous looking resort, but looks very big with a large 5 star hotel and probably 200 minimum time share apartments at least. Very modern with numerous pools and a parade of shops and restaurants, expensive as a captive audience as you will need to either have a car or taxi to get to Zaton Bay. You are 14km from Dubrovnik which again either car, bus or shuttle. Beach front location(pebbles), at least 3 pools but early risers will get the beds as ... Read more

Excellent hotel. Particularly enjoyed the spa/gym and adults only pool and quick access to beach from hotel. Only draw back is cost of taxi or hotel bus transfer to Dubrovnik but otherwise would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We stayed at the serviced apartments here with a 1 year old. Upon arrival they upgraded us to the seaview instead of the garden view. It was a lovely view from the balcony! Curtains inside the apartment was dark enough for the sun coming in the morning. They have a few restaurants and 3 pools. Also a small playground for the kiddies to play in. There is also a kids club for a small charge...would love to come here for that when child is older. A short ride away from the old town if wanted ... Read more

Stayed here in early season, so probably not at its best. Only 3 restaurants open and the vegetarian food wasn't brilliant. Only give the food 2*.However the breakfast was really excellent. Everything else was great. We had a both had massage in the spa, good pressure, but short time by 10mins. The weather wasn't brilliant so we spent a whole day in the spa, after having explored the area. Everyone with children had the same idea, so it was impossible to swim in the indoor pools without being b... Read more

Spent one full week end of July and even though the hotel is big, you don't feel it so much as there is an area with apartments that you can rent that looks like a small village with shops and restaurants. Large choice of places to eat. We tried all the restaurants and we ate very well in all of them. The service is very good and friendly. Area on the water is very nice but be aware that there is no sandy beach. This is the best place to stay in Dubrovnik and worth being at 20mns from the city, ... Read more

We spent one night here at the end of our Croatia trip and wished it could have been longer. Everything about this hotel is first class, the setting, the rooms and the service from all the staff was really excellent. I loved the fact that there was an adults only pool area which meant we could chill out in a beautiful tranquil place. We ate at the Italian restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip. A special mention must go to breakfast, the selection of food was amaz... Read more

Our family of five spent 10 days at one of the residences at Sun Gardens. The accommodation comprise of a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and vast balcony. It is comfortable and of high standard. The hotel has a sports hall which offers a vast number of sports at reasonable cost. There are a number of restaurants onsite, which is just as well as there are no other restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There is also a small supermarket selling mainly tin food and junk food, and... Read more

Had read all the reviews before coming here for a week and have to agree with just about everything I have read about this Resort. It's remote and some distance from Dubrovnik but that is a plus as it is quiet and in a lovely place by the sea. The swimming off the rocky jetty was brilliant and you can get a speedboat to a sandy beach about 15 mins away. The residence with 2 bedrooms was massive and well appointed but having paid for a sea view you needed to stand up to see the sea as the balcony... Read more

First day thoughts... Wow! Stunning views, clear waters by the sea, lovely staff! It's a little further out from old town which really makes it a chilled resort vibe. Have booked two excursions independently from the hotel and both will pick up from the hotel which is great too.
