My wife and I spent three nights here. The owners (Dean and Kristina) are an appealing youngish Croatian couple who met working the Disney cruises in the Caribbean. There is fancy coffee and breakfasts way better than adequate. There is good food in Cavtat (Bugenvila is the one we liked best, not cheap), and the ferry to Dubrovnik Old Town is easy. We were there just ahead of the tourist season, and Dean and Kristina were not just buried with work, so Dean ran drove us to the top of Srd (the... Read more

Very welcoming, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Complimentary airport transfers a bonus. Stunning views across the bay. A shortcut walk downhill into Caveat for wide variety of harbour front restaurants. Very handy Bus 10 for getting back up the hill :) Thank you Kristina and Dyan for being such excellent hosts.

This was a great place to stay, the room was clean with modern fittings, a great shower and a comfortable bed. There were fresh flowers in the room throughout our stay and a basket of fruit. Breakfasts were good, a selection of cold meats, cheeses and a choice of fresh breads along side sausages/bacon and eggs cooked by the lovely Zorica, fruit, cereals and much more, a real feast and the coffee was great. Dean picked us up at the airport and at the end of our stay returned us to same. Both he ... Read more

Christina, Djan, & Zorica, make a great team. Everything about Castelletto made you feel at home. A wondeful friendly welcome, clean and functional rooms, lovely food, and a well stocked bar. Cavtat offers a bounty of restuarants to suit all budgets, and with scenery to die for. No 10 bus is a good tip to get back up the hill at the end of a relaxing day. Thank you all.

I was impressed with the hospitality offered by Dean and Kristina at this attractive, comfortable hotel. I stayed for a week in May and had a very clean, spacious room which included a sitting area and a balcony with an amazing view. I felt very welcomed. Every effort was made to help me feel at home. Breakfasts were delicious! I followed Kristina's recommendation to visit the dance and folklore festival at the village of Cilipi, not far away. Dean offered me a ride there and I enjoyed the f... The Hotel Castelleto has rustic charm with loving touches. Christina & Dean were so welcoming and friuendly we felt at home there within minutes of arriving. We had never been to Croatia before and they offered us lots of advice if we needed it. You could borrow mats , towels, hats etc for the beach. An iron & ironing board if needed with a fridge and ice maker available too. There was a small chillerl in the room, a kettle with tea & coffee and a hairdryer. The staff at this hotel were simply amazing - well informed , kind , attentive, and helpful. They have a huge collection of books, and leaflets, and even towels, books and sunscreen! The setting is beautiful although be warned the hotel is set up the hill from the town center -so the climb can be a bit steep for some.

where to start, we arrived on the sunday to be welcomed by Dean. A really warm welcome it was as if i had known him years it was lovely he picked up my suitcase and carried it up the 2 flight of stairs to the room. He showed us everything in the room how to work everything and showed us the amazing view out on the balcony. He also explained that due to the very high temps they where having at the moment he had put a fan in the room (we had air conditioning) so thoughtful. The bed was comfortable,... Read more

After a 2 week stay in Croatia, including a week at a rental apartment in Cavtat, we stayed her on our last night because of the transfer to the airport. The day of check in we returned our rental car and I emailed them about setting up a pick-up from the airport to the hotel. They responded that they were unable to pick me up without 24 hour prior notification. Although I was disappointed, we got a taxi and it worked out fine. Stayed here 3/7 for 3 nights, a group of four friends in two rooms. Good size room, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, nice balcony. Made very welcome by Dean and Christina and excellent breakfast provided each morning. Air conditioning did not work the first night, but was soon remedied. Yes the hotel is some way out from the centre and up a steep hill but you can ride on the No. 10 bus up or down for 10 kuna each way running about every half hour. Plunge pool was very welcome and... We only stayed one night as we were travelling back from Montenegro. The hotel is approx 3km from the airport and they do a free shuttle service. It is situated on the hillside above the town and is approx a 10mins walk to the centre (15mins on the way back up as quite steep) there is a bus stop just outside the hotel for the less mobile or taxis! It is a small hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a small pool with sunbeds and seats on various levels. They also have a comfy lou... Read more

If we could give this hotel a six we would. More than excellent in every way. Small, 13 rooms, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Linen and towels changed regularly. The hotel is run by Kristina & Dean, with the help of a lovely lady who is on habd at breakfast and also cleans the rooms, and it is really like a home from home. My wife and I arrived last Sunday, jaded and tired from a early flight from Gatwick. On arriving at the hotel we were met by Christina who was sat with two other guests in the garden area having a drink. Our bags were taken to our room by Dean. We stayed at Castelletto for 10 days at high season in 2016. When arrived, we immediately fell at home in the comfortable, clean and nice hotel room. No posh hotel atmosphere like some other hotels in Cavtat or the region, but a nice family hotel where the patrons warmly welcome you as if they known you for years. Breakfast is simple but tasty and everything is there. All the people who work there are very helpful and so friendly. Ask the reception for some restaurant / trip recommendations and ... Read more

We only stayed for one night on our way back from Korcula wanting to be near the airport, wished we had stayed here longer! When we arrived it immediately felt like we were guests in the owners home, not in a hotel. Had a two night stay here, having read good Tripadvisor reviews. It lives up to those reviews, the owners are so friendly and helpful. It's under the airport flight path, but that didn't bother us too much. There's a little pool and plenty of areas and loungers for sunbathing, would be great for a long weekend.

The couple who own/run this hotel, Dean and Cristina, are fantastic hosts. Nothing was any bother to them. We stayed in Room 31 that looked over the rooftops of Cavtat to the Bay of Dubrovnik old town. The breakfast food was excellent with a great choice of hot or cold foods. The only tiny criticism we have is the plunge pool size, it is tiny. Apart from that we would definitely return to this Boutique hotel.

Stayed for a week in early June and Christina and Djean make you very welcome. Hotel is up a very steep hill but as others have said, you can easily get the bus back up the hill. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice. The view from room 22 was excellent but I was disappointed with the size of it. We went with Thomsons and the room was nothing like the picture. I think the rooms above were larger - 31 & 32. Having said that we had a lovely holiday and Cavtat is beautiful.
