"The facility is very nice, quite, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Most speak english and. The spa is very nice with excellent services and space. There is only one restaurant on site, but there are very good options not to far away. The beach is clean, nessled in a cove with warm water and during the late April period there was a lot of open space on the beach to walk and sit. If you are seeking a nice place to relax and spend care free days, the resort is a great location to do so."

"My husband, myself, daughter 24 and son 20 years old spent the most wonderful 9 days at this resort. We were welcomed with a fruity drink as we checked in, awesome as it was 35 deg C out there.Very friendly and efficient staff- felt at home immediately. Rooms very clean, spacious and Air conditioned.A platter of fresh fruit awaited us in the room. The dining was awesome, a variety of fresh foods, either buffet/a la carte.The pool was amazing, so was the pool bar, the staff very friendly and eager to please. They made some great drinks, kept us fit with daily activities ie: aqua aerobics, salsa/merenge lessons, yoga, spanish lessons, booked our excursions for us which were well run, exiting and fun. They were very helpfull with arranging some flight changes for us.We felt safe and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Not one negative thing to report.. Are planning our next stay there. We loved the Costa Rican people- the friendliest folks out!!! Pura Vida!!"
Posted: Sun, Mar 18, 2012"We went to Playa Flamingo in January 2010 when it was freezing in the states. It was amazing to arrive to warm weather with little humidity and no bugs. The hotel is just big enough to feel like a resort, but not too big to feel like some American hotel chain. Everything is outside-which we loved. Everything was clean and fresh and perfectly decorated. The food was amazing at every meal - fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables. We will definitely be back!"

From Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport LIR, Liberia
[1] Follow Highway 21 Southwest to Belen.
[2] Directly after Belen, turn right and follow the signs to the Flamingo Beach Resort.
[3] Turn right at the town of Huacas, and drive through the village of Basilito to reach Playa Flamingo.
From Juan Santamaria International Airport - SJO, San Jose
[1] Take the Pan American Highway 1 to Liberia.
[2] At the traffic light in Liberia - El Cruce, turn left, heading southwest on Highway 21 to Belen.
[3] Directly after Belen, turn right and follow the signs to the Flamingo Beach Resort.
[4] Turn right at the town of Huacas, and drive through the village of Basilito to reach Playa Flamingo.
Transfer Service
Transportation to the resort can easily be arranged from anywhere in Costa Rica! The resort`s transportation company features late model, comfortable, air-conditioned vans and professional, courteous drivers.
[1] One way transfers to/from San Jose Airport - $180.00 for one to four people.
[2] One way transfers to/from Liberia Airport - $80.00 for one to four people.
[3] One way transfers to/from Tamarindo Airport - $30.00 for one to four people.
[4] Extra passengers are not a problem. The resort can provide custom quotes for large groups.
