Wonderful. Wide room, good environment, nice reception service, people are very friendly and localization is near office. In addition to that, the drivers that work for the hotel are very friendly! Thank you!

Stayed here due to our flight being delayed by a volcano eruption near San Jose. The airline put us up at the Wyndham and they were very helpful through the whole process. They picked us up from the airport and had a returning shuttle. The check in was great and the rooms did the trick for us all. Buffets they provided were great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus there is a Hard Rock Cafe across the way you can also grab dinner. Lots of thing to keep busy with and enjoyed the night here.

This hotel is awesome. We have been staying at this hotel for a few days in each of the past 10 years. They are continuously updating the hotel adding new and improved features. The staff are most friendly and really do go out of their way to make a great stay. I simply can't say enough good things about the staff. The hotel is located near the airport and offers reliable shuttle service to and from the airport. It is right on the Inter-american highway. It is a nice jumping off point to... Read more

We stayed here in March 2016 trying to find a place to stay in this area with our tour company - Learning Adventure Tours - We liked the tropical resort feel, all of us loved the pools, breakfast is a Costa Rican traditional buffet , with other items also. Fresh juice and all of breakfast was really good. Everyone was very nice. Rooms were clean and we had a great time. We will be bringing our tour guests here to stay an evening. Thank you and see you soon.

1st it was advertised for $86 per night and ended up being $203. Ok...for Costa Rica that is expected as nothing is ever the final price until you arrive. But $203 for this place is a complete rip off! The 3 pools and 5 hot tubs are misleading as 2 pools are actually connected together as actually 1 and the 5 hot tubs are 5 round hot tubs inside of a large square tub of water. The hotel itself is filthy. Carpets smell and are stained everywhere, building is falling apart inside and out, huge ch... Read more

The hotel is big and spread out but reasonably well contained. It has several outdoor pools, a very attractive small private garden, friendly staff, and a casino and several restaurants to choose from. It is probably a good base to start a Costa Rica holiday after landing at the airport which isn't that far away. Traffic in San Jose is chaotic but the hotel has regular shuttles to the airport and morning and evenings into the downtown city area. Rooms are pretty tired (at least in the build... Read more

We arrived the night of a Prom or graduation dance so it was fairly crowded. Good security and quick attention at check-in. Our first room was unacceptable so i called to get an upgrade. Lucky for us, Fabio was very helpful and went out of his way to make us happy. He even called us after we were settled in to our new room to make sure we were satisfied. Great asset to the hotel as otherwise i surely would be making a negative review. Fabio made a difference. Our new room was nicely furnish... Read more

People coming and going while visiting us in Costa Rica... Family flying in and out for a brief trip didn't give us much time to plan. We needed a location close to the airport but no one wanted to hear planes. Across from Hard Rock Cafe and surrounded by great restaurants this little hidden gem was priced right, clean, friendly staff and made for the perfect quick trip for us.

The hotel was nice. The restaurants inside the hotel are expensive. I stayed on a Saturday night and was too close to the ballroom. Thus I heard music until late at night. However it is conveniently located across from the mall. I will stay again but in a room in the back of the hotel.

What a disappointing experience! I got an upgrade to a junior suite but it was like entering a last century room: it smelled humidity, the carpet was old and the furniture outdated. The air conditioning in both rooms made a terrible noise so I slept without it. And breakfast was poor and shabby. What a pity!

We stayed here for a week during a mission trip to Pavas. The food provided to us for breakfast & dinner was wonderful! It was a great mixed of true Costa Rican food & American. The juices are out if this world. Overall the room was great. Nice bed, pillows & bath facilities. The pool was also enjoyed by our teens. It was in a good area as well, easy access to main highway & close to airport.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. first of all, I need to say that the 4 star hotel rating must be for the lobby/pool areas only and not for the rooms. The lobby is beautiful for sure... well updated/decorated and modern. The rooms /hallways are totally outdated, and quite frankly, dishevelled looking.
