We stayed here for a mini-honeymoon. We were greeted warmly with a complimentary drink, and good information about the hotel. Our room was very beautiful, and the details are exquisite. Every room has a volcano view--- this is rare for a hotel in this area! We saw the volcano perfectly clear every day. The hot springs are great, and there's a pool with a swim-up bar, too. Food was pretty good, but nothing exceptional. Breakfast wasn't included, which I found pretty outrageous considering the pr... Read more

The Springs is now one of my all-time favorite hotels! Everything about this resort is fabulous. My only regret is staying for just one night. The staff is INCREDIBLE - they quickly learn the names of guests and treat everyone like royalty. The rooms are spotless and absolutely gorgeous! My friend and I spent our first 30 minutes just taking pictures as we were in awe of the room. Our balcony view of the volcano and the lush property was amazing. The hot springs felt amazing and were perfe... Read more

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. Our room were new and had direct views of the majestic Arenal volcano. The hot springs were amazing - and we had many options for temperature. The restaurants had a selection of good quality and well prepared food. Plus lots of activities onsite.

I came here with my family when it first opened and have come back several times since. The design of the hotel and rooms are amazing!!! the whole hotel and every room has a breathtaking view of the Arenal Volcano and the most beautiful landscaping surrounding it. Even when it rains there is plenty to do. We enjoyed the spa very much, played pool and eat at the sushi bar which was top notch. The staff is friendly and treats you like a VIP guest. There are trails leading to different natural hot s... Read more

Breath taking & perfect. We stayed here in 2013 and it's still one of my favorite places ever. I will try to add pics later. Staff is like family & we loved every moment. The rooms need more insulation between them for noise. Other than that. Perfect

Went for a visit to the hot springs. A bit expensive but the $60 day pass ticket gets you two days. Drinks are a bit expensive as well but if you get there early enough you'll likely see an amazing view of the volcano. We hung out in two of the warmer hot springs and the main pool (which has a bar that opens at 10am). Great way to spend a day lounging and relaxing!

The resort and area surrounding are absolutely breathtaking because you're just miles away from the Arenal volcano. My friends and I booked the suite with three bedrooms (one being disconnected from the suite) so it was plenty of room for everyone. The resort is beautiful with 20ish available hot springs varying in temperature. We stayed during hurricane season so the resort was rather quiet, which we loved. The resort also has a close-by conservation center housing exotic plants and endange... Read more

The hotel has the most amazing views we´ve ever seen. Direct views to the Arenal Volcano from our room window, it makes the waking-up experience unforgettable. Different facilites and activities (in and out of the property), spa & beauty services, more than 15 termal pools, around 7 available restaurants...it is a luxury experience to be remembered for a lifetime. Restaurants quality of food is very good and they are not really over-prized (bearing in mind the prices in La Fortuna). Pools are o... Read more

The Springs was absolutely perfect for our big group - my wife, me, or 3 kids (8, 8, 10) and my mom and her companion. One of the reasons we chose it was its large accommodations. We were in a 2-story suite with two completely separate living spaces, bathrooms and big balconies. It seemed a bit pricey when we booked, but when we got to the suite, it seemed like a bargain. Everything was well-appointed and luxurious. The resort is big, but not overwhelming. We still very much felt like we w... Read more

This was my second time visiting The Springs and I stayed three nights this time. The staff was very welcoming and the food was extremely delicious. While there I went white water tubing, horseback riding and of course enjoyed the hot springs. I did not want to leave because I had such a fun time. I HIGHLY recommend The Springs to anyone who visits Costa Rica!!

Our favorite spot in Costa Rica. Can't say enough about the amazing grounds, room, pools, and staff. Our room was clean and luxurious with stunning views. Club Rio was perfection for the whole family, allowing the parents to feel safe as the kids felt adventurous. Wish we would have spent more time at the Springs. Highest recommendation.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at The Springs Resort and Spa in La Fortuna, Costa Rica recently and had an amazing experience. We drove in from San Jose, a beautiful three hour drive full of adventure with breathtaking views around every corner. Once we arrived we experience perfection in every detail, including fresh cut flowers in our room, a cedar lined closet, nightly turndown service with fanciful crafted animal towels, and customer service second to none in our world travels (in... Upon arriving at the Springs spa and resort, the staff made our entire family feel like royalty. Situated in a remote area of Arenal, you cannot help but feel like you are in a real life Jurassic Park. Every room is situated with a view of the Arenal Volcano and sprawling rain forest all around. The amenities here are top notch. The rooms are extravagant. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff always made us feel like family. To say we enjoyed our stay here is a major understatement. T... Read more

I WILL be returning! The staff is very helpful and gracious. The concierge desk booked our excursion tickets and drivers for us, even checking around for the best price on the drivers. The resort is beautiful and the hot springs were nice. Absolutely beautiful in the back of the property, wonderful little quit lush spaces to soak. LOVED THAT! We did the feeding of the cats that they have on property. As an animal activast I LOVED the fact that they take care of creatures that cannot be turned... Read more
