We stayed here two nights before and two nights after our tour of Costa Rica. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning, large flat screen TV with lots of English speaking channels( you do need to go into the TV's menu and change the "mono/stereo/ sap" setting to SAP to get English on each of the Spanish speaking channels that you want to hear in English) . Small refrigerator in room with an Ice machine in the hall. Very nice bathroom with a rain shower, but no tub, which... Read more

Nice hotel overall. Our room was a 2 room suite with a king bed and a sitting area. The room seemed clean but smelled of mildew around the mini fridge. The room was right by the elevator so it was pretty loud.

The room was spacious, beds were pretty cheap and the water took forever to heat up but otherwise was set up nicely. I was most impressed with the full breakfast and the nice staff in the morning. We had a more difficult time with the staff's helpfulness at the front desk. They just seemed typically disinterested in helping us with our questions but were always great about getting us a cab when needed and we really appreciated how quickly they always assisted us with that. You get signal in every place of the hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and has everything you need. 24/7 gym with good equipment. 50 pounds dumbell are the heaviest. Clean and 4 cardio machines. Pool is nice too.

I let my friend due the hotel booking and that went so wrong. :( This hotel was down the street and we were able to check in no problem. The front desk was so helpful to us during our stay. The hotel was very nice, the lobby restrooms and our double queen bed room were also very nice. The colors are so vibrant and it was all put very well together. The breakfast was very good and their coffee was amazing!!

Other than location this hotel is really good. The room has modern and comfortable furniture, it has a feel good vibe, but I'd rather stay across the street from a city park than a cemetery and a funeral home.

Unfortunately I can't call San Jose the most picturesque city and we're in the midst of several trips there having stayed at a different hotel on our first trip. I had booked another hotel but right before leaving realized it did not have air conditioning so I quickly canceled and booked Park Inn. The area is not amazing, but that is the case with most of the city I think, but it was incredibly convenient to where we needed to be. The hotel is new and the front desk worked really well. The worlds most coldest staff, beware at the bar as they will over charge given the chance 2 beers cost $13, didn't realise until too late. The reception are no more use than a chocolate fire guard. Great location. The room was large, modern and comfortable. Bathroom was good but did not have a hair dryer which was disappointing. Otherwise room amenities were good. Free wifi was available in each room. Breakfast was included in the price of the room but because it caters to tourists, many who are picked up by 6am to join tours, it was disappointing that the restaurant didn't open earlier. When it did open at 6 there was still no hot food available.

The Park Inn at San Jose looks the business on arrival - modern, swanky interior - but our room was a bit on the grim side, with tatty furniture and a huge stain on the carpet by the bed. Pluses: it's fairly central, about 5 mins from the main drag, and reception helped with restaurant recommendations. Minuses: room decor, no offer to help with bags on arrival. Would expect better from the Radisson chain.

The hotel is new and clean; simple. Location is awful however. Everythng around it closes early (even the AM/PM!!). Restaurant and room service stops at 10:30 (really??). Virtually no snacks in the little snack shop. This facility lacks a lot. I'd rather stay at their competitor hotels which offer much more for the same price. A loft more.

If you want a change of pace, stop by the La Muni authentic CR restaurant a few blocks away. Was pleased with the experience and the value.

Thank you for being very efficient and friendly. All our airport transfers were arranged by the hotel and were cheaper and on time. The rooms are large clean and very comfortable. My only point that needs adressing is the Resturant.....the food ...a la cart....was not nice at all and i am sure that this can be rectified. Its a 10 min walk to town which is convient.

Visited Costa Rica this last weekend with my parents and the hotel was great! The room was spacious and enough room for three people comfortably. I felt like the customer service was really good and attentive to all of my questions that came up. The location was okay, and looked empty at night. Next time, I will make sure to have a rental vehicle to get around, because there are not many eateries and other stuff around. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I would return again.

The hotel is located near the city's largest park and has several fantastic dining options under a mile away. The hotel has a minimalist feel, but lacked nothing. Our room was large and super clean. It was on the 8th floor, facing the north valley, and provided a fantastic view both day & night. The pool itself was too cold to use on even warm days, but it was clean and the area was perfect for lying out.

From the moment I entered this hotel I was pleased: the receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly, and they were happy to take our group of five for an early check-in. The rooms are very large and immaculately clean. Our company held a conference at the hotel and the attention and service was imp... Read more

The check in staff was very friendly and helpful, the bar staff was extremely polite and professional, and the overall stay was exceptional! The room was more than I had expected with a large window overlooking the Costa Rican capital and the surrounding mountains. The pool was decent, hot tub could have been warmer, but the food was great and the beers were cold! What more could you ask for!

Without doubt my favorite hotel in San Jose Costa Rica! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, we were called by our names and Krissler kindly to upgraded us to the room on top floor with an excellent view of the city and volcano mountains. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant waiters very accommodating and our waiter Venicio deserves a special thanks. We booked several day trips to surrounding Costa Rican attractions with an Agency Gray Line near the reception and we had... Read more

The Park Inn by Radisson San Jose is of Radisson's usual modern and high quality standards. There's not much to do in San Jose recreationally and we were only one night as a connection for our flight the next day. The hotel is close to La Sabana National Park where the football stadium is located. It took us approx 15mins to walk to the park. There are a number of restaurants close by but the hotel does have a restaurant. Breakfast was of a large choice ranging from typical to continental... Read more

The Park Inn is a comfortable hotel with a nice dining room. The bar/restaurant at night had good food and cordial service. I'm lukewarm though because the hotel is lacking in details. The management seems a little lackadaisical. My nicely appointed room had two lamps that didn't work. The very attractive bathroom had a shower drain that was stopped up so I had to call housekeeping (but they dealt with it right away). The laundry misplaced one of my items. The breakfast is nice and ample but co... Read more

This hotel was excellent, the rooms are more than comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. The hotel is very modern and clean. There is a garage parking for guest to keep the cars safe. The room service was also great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I will definitely stay here again.

The first thing you want from a hotel is a decent nights sleep. The beds are very comfortable but the pillows - amongst the most uncomfortable we have ever encountered. We stayed for 2 nights on our arrival in Costa Rica and then one night at the end of our tour. On arrival we were told the pool was'nt open due to volcanic ash - even though the view from our 6th floor room showed the neighbouring apartments pool in pristine working order. We ate in the hotel the first night. The food was functio... Read more

Hotel was great, just needed more lighting in bathroom. Rooms are excellent!!! Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly. Most likely I would return if I came back to Costa Rica. It was my first time in Costa Rica -and most of the city seemed a little unsafe at times. However, other parts of the city were worst.

Good start to my trip. Esteban at the reception desk made some great recommendations for dinner and nightlife. Room was great and clean, as was the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Pool area on the 3rd floor. Only issue with this hotel was that the jacuzzi did not work. We contacted the front desk numerous times and I guess they were having trouble trying to work the jacuzzi. I guess it just wasn't working.

Stayed in Park Inn for a conference trip. The hotel has very good amenities (a special mention to a very good gym), the room was very nice and service was top notch. The pool area itself was appealing but did not get much sun and was facing to a huge building next to the hotel. The only real problem for us was that the location was not perfect for us, the meeting site was on the other side of the city center and the traffic is mad so you had to leave very early to make it even if the distance wa... f there were 0 stars , I would put that. Worst experience in event organization and disorder that I have seen in my life. Terrible work and hosting by Mrs. Indira Cascante. Avoid organize an event with her and this hotel. After one day event, The rooms were not booked, some had to sleep on a sofa bed in the rooms, and I had to look for another place to sleep, as Mrs Cascante couldn't coordinate 6 rooms. Terrible.

Arrived here after our long flight from London. Lovely hotel and very modern - the staff all welcomed us in arrival and check-in was very swift. Rooms are a good size but we were three traveling together so had to remind them that we needed 3 beds. They very quickly brought in a gold-up bed which was actually fine. Our room (number 908) faced the city and we could watch the sunrise easily. There is a coffee machine but no kettle which seems to be standard in Costa Rica. Huge bathroom with wet r... Read more

This hotel was clean and very comfortable - towels were the heaviest we'd ever seen! The breakfast was also the best we've had at hotels and all the staff were especially kind and helpful. Ice and the laundry rooms are only on certain floors, and a key card is required to get off there if it isn't your floor. We needed a guest bed one night and it was only $21, including breakfast.

I enjoyed dining at the hotel and the food was quite good. I look forward to selecting this hotel again. The room were big and the bed very comfortable. They had a wide range of television stations. We arrived at midnight and it was too late to rent a car and drive to Jaco . Now here is the good point this hotel is about a $30 taxi ride , but if you come in at normal hours you can take the hotel shuttle . But here is the best point the hotel is a 8 min walk fro. The three major car rentals . The hotel is clean and well kept . Free wifi , free breakfast. Oh do not exchange you money at the airport , they really ripped me off .

This hotel is an excellent value. You can walk to downtown (20 minutes) to shopping and other sites. There are some restaurant nearby and the hotel lobby bar and grill has above average food. The rooms are updated with marble/granite bathrooms and the rooms have a fridge, desk, and small sitting area.

The service was good, they proceed with the requests made prior to my arrival regarding location needs etc. I went to dinner at the lobby restaurant and the service was fast without much delay and the food was of good quality. The guy at the reception was very helpful and provided the information needed, as well as the checkout. (Sorry to have forgotten his name) overall a nice property to spend your time near San Jose.

The area around the hotel is a bit odd looking, but I haven't walked much around San Jose, so can't tell how the rest is. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was good too, quite compact though. Shame the pool and jacuzzi were not heated. Was very happy with my stay, would definitely come back! Very fast free wifi!

Room was spacious, bathroom modern (although sink much too high and far back, for a 5' 2" woman like me), king bed comfortable. Room service meal was reasonable and arrived quickly, but they sent a more expensive entrée than the meal I ordered and the waiter got huffy when I tried to point this out. Our respective sklls in the other's language no doubt contributed to the irritation on both sides. Eventually I kept the entrée to avoid eating even later and he accepted payment of the meal I'd o... Booked 2 rooms in this hotel at a pretty high price so my kids could enjoy the pool during our last night in Costa Rica. We wanted to end our vacation on a high note. After checking in, we are told pool is not working. My family was extremely sad. I asked at the reception if the hotel would provide some form of discount. I was given some bs about how they were looking out for our safety because of the hurricane which was 4 days ago. I would have thought they would have had enough time to get i... Read more
